The air was crisp and the sky clear... a perfect evening to cruise Amsterdam's canals! We had a great time and saw the city from a nautical perspective. Our guide both on board and on foot was entertaining and knowledgeable; we loved his sock guide too!

The cruise was wonderful! The tour was great and I got to see a lot of the city we had not seen on our own. We were one of only 3 couples which made it very intimate but a little awkward with the size of the boat. Cheese and wine was delicious, I would recommend maybe some crackers or light hors d'oeuvres. Overall it was great and my boyfriend and I enjoyed it greatly!

I would say all was perfect if the lady at the ticket booth knew that guests can join the tour via an electronic voucher. She insisted on that she could not accept us if we did not get a print out of the voucher! After waiting out of the line for 20 minutes and discussing the issue, finally we got the permission to board the boat. We were pretty lucky to be able to get the last seats by the window. Aside from this issue, it was a romantic and beautiful trip through the canals of Amsterdam. There were plenty of cheese, wine and fruit juice for everyone. Thanks to the guide and the captain, we headed home with great memories after the tour.

Great tour, lovely wine and cheese. 2 of us and had a bottle of red wine each - no shortage there! Halfway through you disembark for a short walk through red light district. Breaks it up. Quality!

good value except if 4 people had been on out table the cheese allowance was meagre 2 very small pieces each, the wine was fine plenty for 2 we were offered more wine but the cheese could have been better we hadn't eaten beforehand so were a bit peckish. The guide was very informative and amusing, red light district walk was interesting!

Unfortunately, we were totally exhausted and it was an awful night so we did not do this tour this time. However, we have done it before and really loved it. Would recommend it as a way to enjoy the canals of Amsterdam at night which is really pretty.

This was REALLY fun! Be ready to drink lots of wine and eat lots of cheese. It was a fun thing to do on our honeymoon but there was also a big group of people on the boat who were all partying together and we all had a great time!

We had a very entertaining guide and, as promised, all the wine we could drink. The walking tour through the red light district was offered for everyone, but some chose to stay aboard the canal boat. I took the walk. The entire evening was first rate!

Perfect for couples in need of some romance. Very well organised. It included red and white wine with diffferent cheses and nuts. Also a guided tour trough the Red Light District and a tipicol liquer at the end of the cruise in the pub. The itinerary was amazing and the guide was just excellent.

My wife and I took this tour on our last night in Amsterdam. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting the city. I was afraid that it would touristy and gimmicky, but that was not the case. It is a great way to see the city and it's architecture without having to watch out for all of the bikes. The trip lasted much longer than the 2 hours specified, and our guides were great.

We are so glad we took this cruise. With only about twenty hours in Amsterdam it was the perfect way to get a look at the city. The guided walk through the Red Light District was a great way to see that area. Our guide was informative and friendly. All in all a wonderful evening.

Very nice way to see the city with a guided narrative of what we were seeing. Plenty of wine, snack portions were small though considering the wine available. We did this first and it changed what we planned to see the next day on the Hop-On Hop-Off tour.

We highly recommend this trip. We went on the first night of the visit to Amsterdam and it really was a fantastic start to a great holiday. Adam was our guide and he was excellent. He spoke in four different languages and was a brilliant host. Everyone on the trip had a booth to themselves even though they are made for four. This may not be the case in high season. The wine and cheese was plentiful and Adam announced that he had more wine or cheese if you needed it. It was my wifes Birthday and our Wedding Anniversary and everyone joined in to sing Happy Birthday. The Captain was very professional and was very friendly. The stop at the red light district was very good and allowed us a chance to talk to the other guests. Adam took us to a bar and got everyone a local shot called Geneva before we headed back to the boat. If I had a small criticism it was only minor. The directions to the boat are not very clear on the email and the tourist information centre was closed so we had to ask people in the street for directions.

This was definitely the most romantic way to enjoy Amsterdam! Although my kids were with us, they had a separate table, which was nice. They are not kidding when they say unlimited wine and cheese they also had somewhat of an oriental nut mix to offer, I would have probably preferred crackers, which we brought and they didn't seem to mind as long as we were discreet in putting them on the table. Our hostess was phenomenal and made it a great memory. We had so much fun and the walk in the Red Light District was fun too! The free drink was small but nice. Although there are cheaper cruises, I think it was a really great value! Must do.

The cruise was absolutely fantastic. Just relaxed and friendly and the guide made it a truely memorable birthday for my friend by getting everyone to sing Happy Birthday in so many languages. I would recommend this cruise to anyone - great value and a great way to spend an evening in Amsterdam.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening trip, highly recommended. There were generous portions of cheese, etc for everyone and the guide had a great sense of humour. The one downside was that nobody bothered to tell us that the cruise actually started at 8pm during winter months, rather than 8:30pm as advertised. Luckily, we had checked where the cruise left from earlier in the day-- otherwise, we would have missed the trip altogether.
