Keukenhof was perfect at this time while the flowers were just coming -not over.

This trip was split up into a morning city tour and the afternoon trip to Keukenhof Gardens few hours after, giving us time to have lunch and relax or go search the city a little more on our own, _br/_ The city tour took us around the city, and out to a windmill. On the way back we stopped at a diamond factory, which was neat to see the process, but was very rushed, almost leaving a few behind. If you wanted to purchase anything, you would have had to find your own way back. _br/_ The afternoon trip to the gardens was amazing. I'm not a big flower person, but I really enjoyed the gardens. They do a beautiful job with the flower displays, and it is a wonderful place for a walk. There is a windmill at the gardens which you can climb up, a hedge maze that is not as easy as it looks to get through, and a small petting zoo.

We were directed to the wrong bus and ended up at Keukenhof Gardens in the morning and missed the Amsterdam City Tour. We were given a pass to the Hop On Hop Off Bus instead so we still got a City Tour. I was a little disappointed in Keukenhof Gardens as the tulips were pretty well gone. But that couldn't be helped as the weather in April was so warm that everything blossomed sooner.

Still 4 stars even though the tulips had gone and the Gardens closed for the season a few days later. My 3rd time there, have seen when at its peak flowering time. I was not dissappointed as there were numerous garden displays , the grand windmill and the best indoor themed flower displays in a number of pavilions. Yes we saw highlites of Amsterdam and can recommend this tour

The gardens were passed their peak, and should have been finished for touring the previous week. There were no flowers in the fields.

Tour was good but more clarity is required , after city tour there was a gap of 2.5 hrs , this should have been mentioned in the tour details

Great trip. Just a pitty the tullip fileds were cut of already. But to wonder around in such beautiful gardens. _br/_ The Amsterdam part is good orientation and good to see where are all the things - then when based in Amsterdam you can go back again because you know where it is.

City tour good but would have preferred more time on the city itself and cut the diamond tour, or have an optional tour with no diamond tour. Keukenhof and bulbfields stunning, a must on anyone's visit to Netherlands

Awesome flower park! Really worth the day. getting into the tour bus from damrak was a mess! Lindbergh being in the business for so long, and knowing how busy things get, should organize better and make it comfortable for guests. Was mad out there prior to boarding!

Both tours were extremely well organized and pleasant. The only problem I had was that I was never faxed a copy of my reservation. Since I did not have a printer available to print out my voucher, I had to take a chance. Not a pleasant feeling when spending this kind of money and traveling to get there for the tour. Had a local phone number been available this issue could have been solved. Will not use Viator again just because of their lack of cooperation with getting the voucher to me.

The name of this tour would indicate that it is a full day tour, it turns out to be two part day tours where you have to return back to the original starting place in Amsterdam to catch a second bus in the afternoon. This process costs you two hours of wasted time in the middle of day. Too many destinations on tour seemed to be shopping related instead of information and sightseeing. Tours taken in Rome were full day and mostly devoted in sights and information. This tour receives a three star rating only because of the Keukenhof Gardens. The bus (Bakker) for this part of the tour had little if any air conditioning, even the driver was complaining.

Amsterdam trip non specific and too much time for Diamond factory. Afternoon gardens only allowed 2hours nowhere near long enough and spent too much time looking at local bulb fields. There was a bulb fields tour which I would have taken if I only wanted to see the bulbs

Magnificent! The tulips were at their peak and looked sensational. I have never seen such fields of colour. The gardens were beautiful. City tour couldn't fully occur because of preparations fot the Queens Birthday. It was OK.

If you are really short of time, it's probably okay. For the City tour, would have preferred if they had given us some time at a better place than wasting time at a diamond factory! For the Keukenhof trip, I guess they did what they are supposed to do, but I was kind of expecting more views of real tulip fields. However, my timing was also bad First week of May - go in 3rd week of April for the best tulip fields.

In the morning we did the city tour. The tour guide had to speak in four different languages to accommodate the tour group. He spoke in English first and than in the other three languages. It was impressive that he was multi-lingual, however, he was not able to provide much information about each site as he had to continuously keep explaining everything four times each. We had to listen very carefully every time he spoke in English in order to try and follow what he was saying. Also, when he spoke in English he had to speak in advance of us viewing the sites and we were not sure which buildings and monuments he was referring to. It would have been better if the tour company grouped the tours where the guide just has to speak in two languages at most. The afternoon tour of Keukenhof Gardens was conducted by another tour guide. She spoke English and another language and she was able to provide us with much more information about The Netherlands. Keukenhot Gardens was in full bloom and gorgeous. We were given ample time to roam around the grounds to enjoy the beautiful flowers. If in Amsterdam during the eights weeks out of the year when the tulips are in season I would highly recommend this tour.

Would have preferred longer time at the tulip fields, a bit rushed at the end to be back on time to the bus. The trip to the Diamond Factory was a bit waste of time, but enjoyed the trip around Amsterdam, would have liked to see more of the city.

City tour was very nice. The gardens were beautiful, but the tulips were over, which we did not know until we were on the way to the gardens, so we were very disappointed in that respect. The flowers that were still in bloom were very nice.

Keukenhof Gardens is a "must see place" - no picture will show the beauty of these amazing flowers, you just have to see them, smell them and enjoy the atmosphere. I am already planning to go there next year, and I would like to spend the whole day in the gardens. You cannot get bored, because you have restaurants there, coffee places, souvenir shops and also facilities for kids. Definitely worth doing! As far as Amsterdam in concerned, this was also an interesting trip, the tour guide was amazing, spoke four languages and had a great sense of humor. The city has lots of to offer. You cannot miss it!

Tour of Keukenhof Gardens basically amounts to a bus ride to the gardens. Once you are dropped off you are on your own, except for being given a time to return to the bus for the ride back to Amsterdam. I did not mind this since I enjoyed viewing the area at my own pace. However, I may have been able to acquire an admission ticket and transportation for less than the "tour" price. The city tour was OK with two exceptions. One, the "tour" of the diamond factory was nothing more than a sales pitch. Two, the guide had to translate into four languages, which was very distracting. By the time she gets to your language, there is a good chance you are long past the sight and so the explanation doesn't match what you are looking at.
