This full day program is a must for those who have the desire to live a day in the life of a Canadian Musher!

After overcoming the challenges of leading your team, you'll learn to snowshoe in to the serenity of the forest where we'll discuss the harmony of life in this vast Northern wilderness.

Return to the campfire for a hearty warm lunch and more stories about the North Country. Gain experience on a variety of trails and trail conditions as you carve through varied terrain making your way reluctantly back to civilization. By the end of this day, you'll feel as though you can single-handedly take a dog team anywhere.

This tour begins with a 30 minute introduction and instruction where you learn safety, commands and the history of the dog sledding sport. Drive you own dog team while following one of the experienced guides. Driving the teams is optional, however. You will need to do a little jogging up some of the small hills to help your dogs. If driving a dog team doesn't appeal to you then perhaps cuddling up in a cozy sled and letting your friends or family drive sounds like a better idea for you.
