This half day excursion is our most popular dog sledding tour in the Banff area. You'll be on the trail for about 3 hours, with a half-way stop for a traditional Canadian Campfire Lunch.

You'll gradually gain confidence as the string of sleds glide along Goat Creek on captivating trails through mixed meadows and Black Spruce forest. On the way, you'll stop to observe elk bedding sites and areas where the moose are known to feed.

Your exhilaration over the uniqueness of mastering a new sport in this spectacular setting will create a good appetite for the Gourmet slow-roasted delicacies that await you at the campfire. (Please let us know if the booking form below if you have any special dietary requirements.)

This tour begins with a 30 minute introduction and instruction where you learn safety, commands and the history of the dog sledding sport. Drive you own dog team while following one of the experienced guides. Driving the teams is optional, however. You will need to do a little jogging up some of the small hills to help your dogs. If driving a dog team doesn't appeal to you then perhaps cuddling up in a cozy sled and letting your friends or family drive sounds like a better idea for you.

• Gold Package: $578 per person (guarantees two people per sled)
• Platinum Package: $1155 per person (guarantees one person per sled)
