Barcelona, Spain

Combine two best-selling half-day tours of Barcelona at a discounted price and see the best of Barcelona in one day. You'll spend a full day seeing all the highlights of Barcelona including the monuments and buildings created by Spain's most famous artists, Gaudi and Picasso.

See the classic sights of Barcelona in the morning, then after lunch explore the city's artistic side. You'll see the best of Barcelona, old and new, in one day! Even better, you'll enjoy a 10% discount when you buy the morning and afternoon tours in this way.

Barcelona Sightseeing Tour (Morning):
Start your morning tour with a stroll through Plaza de Catalunya, with its many fountains and statues, then take a wander along the narrow medieval streets of the Gothic Quarter. You will see many buildings dating from the 15th century, including the Barcelona Cathedral, as you continue to Plaza Sant Jaume where the important government buildings are located, including the Palace of Generalitat and the Town Hall.

Continue to the Montjuic Mountain for a panoramic view of the city and harbor. You will also tour the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic and taste Catalan Cava, the renowned local sparkling wine, at the Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village).

Artistic Barcelona Tour (Afternoon):
After lunch, take an artistic journey through Barcelona, starting at Paseo de Gracia to see Gaudi's famous apartment buildings including Casa Batllo and La Pedrera. Then enjoy a 30-minute visit at Gaudi's bizarre Parc Guell, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The afternoon tour continues to the La Sagrada Familia (Holy Family) Cathedral, Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece and Barcelona's most famous landmark.

You'll also visit Barcelona's Monumental Bull Ring and the famous Cathedral Sta Maria del Mar, the only completed Gothic church in Catalonia. The tour ends near the Picasso Museum, which exhibits works from the blue and pink periods of the world-famous painter.

Note: the tour does not include entrance tickets. This is an exterior visit only.

although the places visited are wonderful, the tour guides have done this too many times, and simply sound like a tape recorder, very monotonous. we combined a morning tour and an afternoon tour, and visited some of the same places in both. a bit disappointed that it wasn't made clear that we did not go into the Sagrada Familia. but generally a good tour

On the morning we were booked for the Barcelona tour I was informed it had been cancelled that day due to lack of participants. The sub-contractor was very kindly allowed us to "swap" this tour for a pair of half day tours that were going out that day. Good enough. We enjoyed the alternate tours, maybe more that we would have enjoyed or original choice. One thing, the original one day tour was lunch included but the two half day tours were not. We were "out" our lunch for that day.

An enjoyable day. Slightly frustrating that the tour was a mixed language group - so the narrative was in French, Spanish, Italian as well as Engish. Presumably therefore some narrative details were missed. _br/_ Interesting mixture of sights, but personally I didn't appreciate the amount of time 'wasted' at the Spanish Village._br/_ It was also a shame that there was so much maintenance work at Park Guell - maybe it's the type of information that you should consider adding to all your tour details.

Our group enjoyed the combined day tour. With only 2 days to spend in Barcelona, this tour provided lots of sightseeing, including the Gaudi highlights! Would recommend!

This trip was useful in conjunction with the hop-on hop-off tour, but would be inadequate picture of Barcelona on its own.

The tour, itself was entertaining enough. However, our tour guide lacked a real zeal for the job and, at times, appeared to be even disinterested.

Great tour - loved everything the we saw and I especially enjoyed the chance to walk around at various locations. The lunch at the Spanish Village and the time spent there was great - and the tour of Parc Gwell was AMAZING! Love the Gaudi works, every one that we were able to see. I recommend this tour, the full day tour, to anyone interested in a quick overview of a fabulous city!

Barcelona is a place to visit. If you love your food and friendly people, then Barcelona is the place. Do not miss the "Buquerria" in Las Rambas.

This excursion was great as it highlighted the sights of Barcelona. We especially liked La Sagrada Familia and would have liked to tour the inside. The National Palace was impressive and next time we will tour the inside.

We had a great day seeing the sights of barcelona. The guide was excellent. She answered all our questions with a smile. She really knows and loves her city. It was a long day but very rewarding. I would recommend this excursion.

Overall good but not great:_br/_ The tour had approx 20 English speaking and two that were Spanish and the guide persisted in Spanish explanations for a long time and first which created frustration in the group. Also we should have been told that our included lunch was food only and not drinks-surprise to us all !!

In the afternoon we visited few places which was good, the guide was good, her English was very good too, but the morning tour was rubbish, so was the guide's English speaking capability, most of the time she spoke Spanish. The money we spent was a total waste, sorry if I sound rude but it was what we felt after the tour.

If you want to get into Gaudi's buidlings, this is not for you, but if you only want to quickly see them from the outside, then it's ok.

In our group, there were two French speaking people, The rest were English speaking people. Our tour guide started with French first and then English. So it was distracting and annoying. We were on the different bus in the afternoon and the guide did not make it clear and I ended up leaving my backpack on the morning bus. Luckily, I retrieved it late in the afternoon at the office but it could have been avoided. Another disappointment was that the inside tour of the Gaudi Church was not included in the tour. Lunch break was rather too long. (until after 3pm, can't remember it started at 12pm or 1 pm).

Place was great and itinerary was fine, but the guide service wasn't. The morning guide had to cover in English and also French, but we had only two French tourists (among about 40 people). A lot of wasted time ! On top of that, there was no microphone/listening device. Half of the time, we couldn't hear what the guide was saying. We just gave up listening.

This tour is split into the morning and afternoon tours, with a 3-hour break in-between for you to eat lunch. The afternoon tour is more interesting, but please note that you do not get to go into the majority of the sights listed for this tour. You are given a tour from the outsides of the Churches or from the bus.

The trip was ok, but not enough time spent where I wanted to be. The tour guide in the morning was fantastic, he was funny and engaging. The guide in the afternoon was a bit frantic and not as enjoyable. NOTE - there is a 3 hour break in the tour, even if you do lunch.

This tour permitted us to see not only the historical but artistic side of Barcelona. I wish that we could've visited inside "Sagrada Familia", but the lines are just too long for tour groups to wait, so we viewed it from the outside which was a spectacular experience in itself.

Disappointed with both the tour and tour guide. We requested for English speaking and this tour group us together with other languages group which our tour guide wasted a lot of time speaking and explaining both languages. She spent more time speaking in other languages rather than English. We didn't quite understand her spoken English.

Save your money. There are very few stops. Most of the description of the tour is what you see from the moving bus. During the stop you wait while the guide repeats everything in both English and Spanish. Even when you get to the most important stops such as the Sagrada Família you DO NOT go inside. I would suggest selecting a few locations that interest you and taking a taxi or walking.

It was a good overview of the City. Wish we could have spent more time checking out Gaudi works. Our guide was ok. We have taken several Viator tours, and she was not especially that great. Enjoyed lunch at Poble Espanol.

The tour was not that great. We could have done better just taking the double decker tourist bus and seen it on our own at lot less cost (30%). The cost did not include entrance fees to cathedrals or other places of interest. For the afternoon tour, the air conditioning broke down. There was a three hour break between the morning and afternoon tours which was too long

This is a good tour to take to get the "lay of the land." I wish we would have taken this tour on our first full day it would have helped alot. We did discover new places that we had not planned on, like parce de Guell. Our tour guide Alberto was great, he gave us history and humor .

Good guides and informative. Only draw back is guide may have to explain up to three times in different languages. So if you wanted to ask questions it was not easy to do. Barcelona is beautiful city and we enjoyed it very much.

I booked two tours in advance, through Viator. Thinking it was a bit chancy to do that, I was skeptical when I arrived. Now I must commend the fabulous guides, Fernando and Jordi for making available such a rich experience. The knowledge of these two guides was amazing and the courtesy and friendliness totally unexpected. I enjoyed these so much that I came back on April 19 for the another tour. Both guides had great knowledge, friendliness, kindness, and amazing ability to ‘guide’ all of us through marvelous views and information.

Fabulous city, and a great way to see it. Comfortable coach, good guide, only drawback is not enough free time to do your own thing. Great lunch at the Spanish city. Gaudi's gingerbread houses are a must to see in the park.

Very good tour, very well paced with ample time to "check out the sights" without getting bored about being "in one place too long." Guell Park was, in my opinion, the high point of the sightseeing tour.
