When we arrived in Barcelona, we had not slept for a full night so having a problem free transfer from the airport to take us to the Port was crucial. Unfortunately, we were met with disappointment. When we had completed the usual end of flight procedures and were ready to get into our transfer car, the driver was nowhere to be seen. We attempted to call the company to find out where the driver was - being new to Barcelona it took some attempts to get the right numbers to have our call go through which did happen eventually. The excuse the company gave was that the driver "went to the wrong terminal" which is a very feeble excuse because they had our airline name and flight number and even if they truly did not have the terminal a simple phone call on their part, or asking a simple question by the driver to an airport attendant would have given the driver the right terminal. What honest driver would wait for close to a full hour in the "wrong terminal" and not wonder why his customers had not shown up? Not only did we wait a full hour before this driver finally showed up, it cost my husband long distance charges to contact the company to see where the driver was. The icing on the cake of this entire horrible transfer experience was that when the driver finally showed up and gave the excuse of going to the wrong terminal and I pointed out that he had the airline name and flight number and could have easily checked it, he said NOTHING. Sadly, he did not even uttter the words "I am sorry".

The driver was helpful and courteous. Once at Port, we realized we had forgotten some of our luggage at the hotel. Our driver expedited our return to the hotel via back roads, and then back to port. His concern, and attention to time limits were GREATLY appreciated.

Because we had 2 large and 2 small suitcases we were told we had to be transported in a minivan. This was not necessary as our luggage fit easly in the car that transported us from the airport to our hotel.

Although I could arrange for a cab to drop us off at the port from our hotel. I enjoy setting a time in advance, and even when they are running late, they call the hotel to let me know exactly when they will arrive. The drivers are always helpful, and deal with the luggage efficiently!

The driver was on time and spoke English well. One note about calling to confirm your reservation. We went into their office three days before our pick up, and they found no record of our paid reservation. As you can imagine, we were concerned, and the office liaison instructed us to call Viator as her internal contact had no record. It turned out, they only receive word of the reservation a day or two before. I share to save you time calling around and wasting precious vacation time.
