This day tour was excellent! It was a very striking change from the palm trees and crowds of Barcelona, as we saw small towns on the way to the Pyrenees, and knee deep snow atop the mountains.The first stop on the tour, in the town of Vic, was a great way to spend the morning seeing a smaller slice of Catalan life. The afternoon is spent taking the train up the mountain and enjoying the hiking and views below. Our guide was fantastic!

Beautiful scenery. Snow capped mountains. Walking was amazing but some of the tracks were closed due to icy conditions. We bought food from Vic from a local deli and the market. Our guide was from Greece and wasn't as passionate or as good as some of the other guides we have had on other tours and was on his phone too much throughout the whole day.

This was generally a good experience. We were a little concerned with how organized the start would be in the Plaza but it was pretty easy. The trip is definitely a nice escape from the city, the mountains and fresh air were beautiful. The guide was average for our trip, but a lot of this trip is about exploring things on your own at your own pace. In general, I'd say if you love hiking and the outdoors, this is a nice change of pace from all the other great parts of Barcelona.

The Pyrenees tour was a wonderful blend of historical ruins, unique mountain village (Queralbs) and easy hiking. Our guide had a very good understanding of the history and culture, and happily answered all our questions. The rack railway ride was a unique experience and offered wonderful mountain views. This was a great day activity for a family with teenagers, and offered a good complement to our Barcelona city holiday.

Everything about this daytrip was excellent. Anna, our guide/driver, was both personable and very knowledgeable. Vic was a pleasure to see and walk around in. The brief stay in the village of Queralbes was charming, as the ex-mayor gave us a personal tour of the village church. And the cog train up to Vale de Nuria was with the ski resort at the top was simply outstanding. A terrific day. Highly recommended.

Anna, our tour guide was extremely friendly and courteous. Although we could not go hiking at the resort in the Pyrenees secondary to wind and snow conditions, she made sure we were comfortable and still had a great time. The tour included a great look at the city of Vic and Querab. Our guide even went as far as to introduce us to the former mayor of the city who allowed us entry to the small church there in the evening.

Great trip! Pricey for a college student, but it would have been difficult to get to the Pyrenees on our own. We were given a great experience at a Catalonian town (Vic) and had plenty of time in the Pyrenees to hike around. Trip flowed well, we were never rushed or felt like things were too slow. I had a great day and was glad we did this.

Great day trip! The guide had excellent English and had lots of information for our small group of 8. Vic was cute but not much there, the town of Queralbs was over the top cute. Having the mayor open the church for us was a fantastic treat!

The tour itself was very good, informative and enjoyable but the process of reconfirmation was a disaster. It was stated that if we needed to reconfirm directly with the provider but the phone number provided was non-existent nor were the numbers listed on their website. My hotel tried very hard to make contact and we just had to take our chances the email confirmation was successful. This caused a lot of confusion and frustration as I had to be prepared to make alternative plans in case of a no-show

An excellent experience. Veronica was flexible with us about changing the schedule slightly. The Town of Vic stop was interesting, but the market was disappointing when we discovered most of the items except local foods were "Made in China." Overall, a great day.

We loved our Pyrenees Mountains day trip!! It was an awesome experience and we highly recommend this tour! Our guide Christian was fabulous and very knowledgeable. The size of our group was perfect with 13 people. We really enjoyed stopping in the beautiful historic town of Vic, learning Catalonian history from Christian and having a picnic at the Pyrenees. Full day trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city was welcomed. The stop at Vic is excellent to see a clean more suburban lifestyle. The Pyrenees part was as advertised...top of the mountain towns with choices of activities. Our group of 12 picniced together first with food purchased in Vic and then we divided up. My wife and I hiked and loved the challange and time alone on the trail. Great trip and guide experience! The smaller 15 passanger van was comfortable with a professional driver. Our guide stayed with the tour group throughout the day and was a wealth of knowledge about Spain. He made the day memorable in addition to the sightseeing.

Excellent idea. Beautiful once in the hills and away from the tourist centre in Val Nuria. Train ride good, but very crowded on the way back (weekend). Bus delayed by over one hour in arriving for return journey; but extra visits organised. Vic is a delight - it would be good to advise people to get picnic things while there before arriving at Val Nuria.

We had some high expectations of this trip into the Pyrenees and it did not disappoint. _br/_ The guides were excellent and the transport was comfortable and spacious with only 4 people plus the guide in each van._br/_ The guides had good english and were knowledgeable on the history of the Catalan region, especially on our stop in Vic._br/_ We would highly recommend this tour.

Traveling with a friend, I joined a lively, small group of 5 more for this Viatour excursion. We filled a mini-van, whose close quarters enhanced our interactions, but at times was a bit hot. Vic's outdoor market was colorful fun, and we found the churches in the old part of town to be fascinating and beautiful. Religious artifacts were stunning. The town of Queralbs was a quaint mountain town where we ordered a coffee, and the views on the hike in Valle de Nuria were very memorable. We did lose our way on the hike, and were advised by other hikers to retrace our steps instead of trying to hike a full loop. Trails were not well marked and the map was not so useful. Our Viatour guide was a laid-back, relocated young Englishman full of facts on Spanish history and geography he made the trip very enjoyable. Part of the day's enjoyment grew from the harmony among the members of the tour group, something unpredictable. Nevertheless, I would do this trip again.

great value small tour. Easy way to see a different type of Spain. relaxing and a complete change breathing fresh air and a challenging walk in the hills makes a great change from the city. Add in historic and unique country towns and train ride, lunch bought a local market eaten in scenic country and you have a great day out

As a family with two children 57 we were also happy with this - the second tour - we took with this company. It was a nice bustrain ride to the mountains with a nice stop at a market in the middle. The guides were great with our girls and with a small group of just 11 we had a very nice tour.
