Day trip was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The only negative thing was the rainy weather. Sitges would have been more enjoyable had it been dry. I highly recommend this tour.

Great tour of the Cava cellar!! And Sitges, the only thing I can say is I wish we had more time here. Beautiful city and beaches. BEST mojitos on the beach!

A gorgeous day all around! Our guide, Agnes, accompanied us to Freixenet then Sitges. It was a little early to have a cava tasting at 11am, but no one was complaining! A tip- if the weather is nice, bring a suite and towel to the beach at Sitges and taken the train back into Barcelona later in the day.

What a great day it was! The wine cellar tour was very interesting and informative. The process of making wine, wow! Sitges is a pretty little place full of shops and gorgeous views of the coast. A picture paradise! Not a lot of time here but you receive a map so you can hit the places you really want to see. It was a great day!

This was another tour that was enjoyed by myself and my wife. having no knowledge of the area we were to visit, it was a pleasure to see what unfolded on this tour. The whole trip from start to finish was just amazing, and ourb guide who's name we have forgotten was one of the high lights of the day. The winery tour was very enjoyable, and then the trip to Sitges was another highlight, the only trouble we had was we did not have the time in Sitges we would have liked as we came across road works on the way, this could not be helped, Again I would HIGHLY reconmend this tour

If you are not a city person this is a good trip to get away from the hussle of Barcelona. The wine tour was ok. You only tasted 1 cava wine. It would have been better to conduct a real tasting with a variety. _br/_ The trip to Sitges was the best part. The food was better than in Barcelona and the setting was beautiful. But we only had 1 hour in this great coastal town. It was too rushed. It would have been great to skip the pseudo wine tour and hang out in Sitges instead. _br/_ Our tour guide was nice but did not really talk much about the areas we visited or the history. He was quiet and seemed preoccupied with something, who knows.. _br/_ I did find out that you can take a train to Sitges from Barcelona as a stand alone trip. I would recommend it. Enjoy!

The visit to the Freixenet wine cellars was great, except that they could have provided more than just one glass of cava. The Sitges part of the trip was a big disappointment, as there was very little to do except have lunch. The local agent of Viator should consider hotel pick-ups and drop-offs.

We had an amazing time. The Cava wine cellars tour was something to remember.. the guide was knowledgeable and humorous. The Sitges trip was annoyingly short.. we only had 1 and half hours to explore the town, have a bath in the beautiful beach, eat and rest a bit..so we ended up going for a really fast stroll up to the monastery and hurrying up to the center to grab something to eat and head to 2-3 souvenir shops. Our stay in Sitges should have lasted at least 3 hours

Very good experience. Charming guide who went the "extra mile" to show us the village or to allow those who wanted time on their own to have it.

The tour of the cava cellar was a bit boring, and you do not get to taste all of the cavas. You get one glass of cordon negro. I would have rather had a sip of each one than one class of one type._br/_ Sitges is a nice, gay friendly beach. If you hate gays, this is not the place for you. The days that we went it was kind of chilly, but it was great to see an actual beach, not the fake beach in Barcelona. It was great to see another side of Catalonia. I would recommend this trip if you are interested in wine, want to get out of Barcelona, and you are supportive of gays.

This was definitely a nice escape from the big city. Getting up early in the morning wasn't the easiest thing to do, but the trip was very comfortable and had beautiful sights. The Freixenet tour was very informative and entertaining, although I wish the tasting had a bit more wine for free._br/_ The tour to Sitges is def a must, what a beautiful small town. We had enough time to have a wine of glass, do some quick sight seeing and even go to the beach and get in the water.

I loved this tour. The wine caves were amazing and the tour itself was so interesting and informative. Sitges was beautiful. The guide was great, he really took the time to engage with everyone on the tour. He was pleasant and easy to talk to, and enthusiastic about the things we got to see and do on this tour.

We highly recommend this trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour of the winery was excellent. We have been to many wine tours in the USA and this was one of the best we have seen. We had plenty of time in Sitges to explore and take pictures. Unfortunately, it was too cool to play on the beach but would go back again the next time we are in Barcelona.

I thought the Freixenet tour was cut a bit short, unfortunately. Seemed like we were rushed and then didn't get the full tour. Otherwise, it was great.

Sitges was beautiful, Freixenet was extraordinary. However, I must say that our tour guide Maria was less than engaging. In contrast to Fernando, ( our guide the day before) who engaged us from the moment we sat on the bus, greeting us and telling us more abut the city. Maria really did not greet us until we were well on our way to Frexinet. The tour guide at Frexinet was fabulous and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the caves and learning about the cava region and business. However, Once we arrived in Sitges on the walking tour, it became obvious that our guide did not know a lot of the history and tidbits about the area. I must also say that once she heard my complaint about her non-engagement if you will, she did try to engage and speak to myself and our group more. However, when compared with my Gaudi tour guide, I found her lacking significantly. Overall I would give this tour a 3 out of five.

The Sitges tour was too short, we hardly had any time to look around much or even sit at the beach side. One hour was not enough to have a proper lunch. We just had to hurry up and keep walking. The Freixenet's Cava Wine Cellars were good.

The bus driver was extremely unprofessional with dangerous driving. It seemed like he had been drinking. This is the only concern I have. The tour guide was great, the Frexienet visit was great as was Sitges, but the bus driver took the fun out of the trip

We really recommend this excursion to anybody who wants to spend a nice day away from the big city and is wants to enjoy a visit to Catalunya's most important industry the cava champaign industry. We had a marvelous trip visiting the Cava cellars of the prestigious brand Freixenet and visiting the beautiful village of Sitges. The english speaking guide was very friendly and explained everything very well. The visit to the Freixenet cava cellars in the morning started with a video presentation of the history of this historic cava brand. Afterwards, our english speaking company guide guided the small group through the cellars were the actual cava is made. The tour, mixed with small video presentations, tastings and a train ride through the cellars and fabric, is as interesting even for wine leeks like us as it is fun and entertaining. Around noon we headed for Sitges where the guide walked us through the typical small streets and explained about the history of this beautifull rich town. In the afternoon we got some free time and went for lunch in a very good restaurant, La Occa, recommended by our guide. Sun bathing and shopping and back to Barcelona city where we arrived around 15h. Really a great experience.

The Freixenet wine tour was great. . . on the way we got plenty of information about Barcelona and the surrounding areas and on the tour we found out the production of Freixenet with a dedicated tour guide. Due to traffic on the way to Sitges, we barely had time to eat lunch. However that lunch was the best paella in Barcelona I'm sure but it would have be nice to spend more time on the gorgeous beach - Well worth the money though.
