Totally enjoyed the day trip. We thought it was worth the money spent to leave Barcelona for the day and see other parts of Spain. The tour consisted of a van ride to each of the locations and a bit of history explained to us from our guide. Once at the locations we were given a brochure and left on our own to explore. Our tour guide, Alex, was knowledgeable with Spain history and was very pleasant to be around. He did a great job in including everyone, as there was a mixed group of languages (English, Spanish and Italy). Tarragona was a beautiful city with a lot of history, museums, etc. We only wish that the majority of the time could of been spent in this area rather than Stiges. Stiges is beautiful beach town and we had a wonderful lunch there, but did not see too much as far as history. Tour is great as long as you understand that it is up to each person / group to discover the beauty of each location on their own.

Tarragona was very interesting. I enjoyed the ancient ruins. Sitges was relaxing--shops were closed, as it was the middle of the day. We had coffee and watched the sights. Relaxing!!

If you like exploring on your own, after background explanation, then this is a good tour for you. Even though our group was small - only 4 guests - there were 2 "trainees" on our tour. Their presence diluted the focus a bit. Our guide was very nice, and well informed. But her English language skills could have had smoother delivery. It took longer than necessary to relay the information, and kept us from asking too many questions. Given the wealth of history in Tarragona, I wish we could have conversed more. But lunch on the beach in Sitges was spectacular. A long, but worthwhile day.

I really enjoyed Terragona for its significance during Roman rule. The Sitges tour was not worth the time and money.

We were the only two people on the tour. The tour guide was very friendly, but basically she drove us to each place, gave us a map and told us when to meet. We were interested in the Roman ruins in Tarragona, but there was limited time in which to see them. We asked if there was much to see in Sitges, given it was mid winter, and we were the only two on the trip, and were told it was worth seeing. It would be good if the tour company offered a whole day trip to Tarragona. If you don't like independent travel this would be a good tour, but it would be a lot less expensive to get a map and catch the train from Barcelona yourself.

It was a private tour for us! We loved it! Gemma, our tour guide, was so nice. She was very informative. She brought us to a "private town" as well. Tarragona and Sitges are must see towns if you are in Spain! We highly recommend this tour!

More like a taxi trip really than a guided tour, alot of free time (too much) in two stops!

The tour started on time and exactly where we told to meet, which in a new/strange city is extremely important. There were only 4 of us on this particular trip, which for us was great. Our tour leader was fabulous. She obviously enjoys her work and was very helpful in providing us with tips for things to do/see in both Tarragona and Sitges. Even though the aqueduct near Tarragona is being repaired, it is still a spectacular site and well worth the visit. Tarragona is a beautiful city with a rich history and much to see. It was unfortunate that we couldn't spend more time there, but was great for the limited time that we did have. Sitges is also a very beautiful city and our guide dirceted us to both the old part of town as well as some good local restaurants. While we were in Sitges, there was a festival celebrating the harvest that was going on while we were there. Our guide spoke to some of the local people and was able to give us details of what the celebration was all about, which added to the experience and understanding of local traditions. She did not rush us at all through the day and was willing to stay on even longer than the tour was scheduled. While the tour was great, our tour guide made it a more memorable experience. She went way out her way to answer questions and provide information about what we saw as well as suggestions for things to do/see in Barcelona. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona. I would highly recommend this tour and your company to others.

There was only my husband and myself signed up for this trip so it was a private tour with our guide, who was very nice and informative.. Tarragona was a wonderful city to visit with its Roman walls and amphitheater. We spent so much time at the amphitheater and museum that we did not get to go into the cathedral. We wished we could have stayed longer.

This day trip was definitely worth it. The aqueduct and ruins in Tarragona were fantastic to see, and Sitges was a really pretty beach town. My one complaint is that I thought stop at Roc de Sant Gaieta was pretty pointless and with the amazing two hour + lunch we had in Siges, it would've been nice to have more time to lounge on the beach and check out the shops there. Our tour guide was really knowledgeable, and it was nice how he just basically told us generally where to go and what to see and then sent us out to explore on our own, rather than 'hold our hand' the whole time.

we enjoyed a lovely trip in a sunny day. Ana was very friendly and helpful. The little village Roc de San Gaieta is splendid. Sitges was remarkable by architecture and style, lovely beaches.

This was our second tour with this operator, so we now knew where to wait. Our guide/driver was a very personable young woman. She did an excellent job of not only driving, but providing commentary along the way. We visited everything stated in the online description. If staying in Barcelona, this particular trip allows one to venture out of the city and get a feel for coastal living. You are given time to wander, on your own, in Tarragona and Sitges. Unfortunately, we reached Sitges during "siesta" time, so many of the shops were closed. There are a number of restaurants available for lunch at Sitges, but they do tend to be a bit pricey. It's a good trip if you have extra days in Barcelona, but if your time is limited, first see everything you can in the city.

There was a problem with the vechiles for the trip so we ended up taking a different one. We took the Girona and Caytana spelling tour. This change was a great surprise we had a wonderful time exploring Girona and Pals. Then down to the coast and the beach. It was amazing and I would reccomend it to everyone. The tour guide was great she had a good knowledge of everything we saw along the way and at the tour sites.

Tarragona was a beautiful and historic city and my guide was very knowledgable about the area, welcomed questions and gave recommendations but let us explore on our own. The day was a nice mix of busy and relaxed since Sitges was mostly spent eating a delicious lunch with about an hour to lay out on the beach or go shoppingexploring. The beaches were very crowded so I probably wouldn't have needed more time there anyway.

I already wrote to the management about this trip. Our guide was awful and put down one of the towns we were visiting and our van had no A/C! Terrible trip!

Tarragona was very historical I enjoyed myself and our group was small and we had a great time. Sitges was beautiful and swimming in the Mediterranian was very refreshing a must do. The restaurants along the beach were expensive, but the Mojitos were great.

It was just me, one other tourist and our guide, Wania, who drove us in a small car. Tarragona is a stunning little port town with old Roman ruins. It was great to have lunch by the beach at Sitges and get some sun. Wania gave us a lot of free time in both places. I highly enjoyed the day. I guess your level of enjoyment on this tour would be very dependent on good weather though.

This was a great day trip despite the weather and the fact the aqueduct is under restoration. The small group of 6 was good and our guide, Gemma was excellent. Time spent in each place was adequate. However, the van was a little hot in the back.

We had a great trip once we got going. We appreciate the amount of time our guide put in tracking us down and making sure our trip was a success. We didn't know the bus had broken down but our guide searched for us around the Hard Rock Cafe and gave us some options. We were able to have another guide all to ourselves for a personal tour of Tarragona and Sitges. I will recommend this tour to a friend traveling next week.

We had a wonderful time on this trip last year. The guide was great and the flexibility and freedom were perfect. The group was small, intimate and very nice. I would recommend the trip to anyone wanting to get away from the city and see the countryside, as well as to those looking to see the coast and smaller cities. We even got to see an antique car show in Sitges, which was awesome.

It turned out to be a private tour though there were two others who were supposed to join us but did not show up and it was a super amazing day. Our guide was full of knowledge and filled us in on history of Barcelona as we drive through the beautiful country side and gave full background on Tarragona and Sitges. He speaks fluent English and is an excellent driver. Tarragona and Sitges are equally beautiful and fascinating towns. Tarragona is so full of history and very picturesque. Sitges is laid back, it being a beach destination. You will be given enough time to explore both on your own. Don't miss the chance to get this tour while in Barcelona. It is worth it.

I am from S.A. Naturally speak Spanish. I booked with you, because I like small group tours, and could not find one in Barcelona, but normal big tours. The difference is, you can sometimes go out of your way, and add something, that if you travel 40 people is impossible to do. We stopped in a small town, and enjoyed the competition of the human towers, aside from the locals enjoying a Sunday. The guide was very nice.

Four of us went on this tour. We walked across the aqueduct, then walked around Tarragona. Our guide was very attentive and gave us the option of going on our own or going with him. Made a side trip on the way to Sitges and stopped in a small town where they were having a festival where the people competed in teams and cooperated with one another to build "human castles". Sitges is worth a return trip on its own--beautiful natural beaches! Enjoyed a lunch at a lovely Argentinian restaurant across the street then spent an enjoyable couple hours at the beach.

This is a tremendous tour, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to see Roman ruins and quaint cities. The tour van holds eight passengers, but only my wife and I were booked for that day and they came and gave us a personal tour. The tour guide spoke English very well; he knew the sites and history, and was very accommodating. This was such a great value for the price!

It was really a great trip. For those who hate big tour groups, this is perfect! We ended up with a small group of four, got to see Roman history and tour the coast of Spain! What could be better? The tour guide was super friendly and the tour itself is more relaxed, not set to a stop watch.
