Only way to get around Berlin, it's so big! Very easy to find and description was great!

Initlally the problem was the info given by Viator re the meeting place was totally incorrect, and but for the help of a local we wouldn't have found the bus. We found it interesting, but we just went straight round and then stopped for a bowl of soup - but by this time the last tour had departed, so we didn't have time to go round again. However we thought the area covered in the tour was huge, and from that point of view well worth doing. We didn't expect the tour to take in such a wide area, and from that point of view we recommend it.

It was very hard to find the office where you should show your viator-note before entering the bus. We didn´t know it was a minibus. The tour was very good. We were surprised to find the Swedish language in the menue.

Great tour and the fact that it lasted for 48 hours seemed to be the longest tour offered by any of the operators. Every 10 minutes there was a bus and the information on the headsets was excellent. I would have no issues promoting this to others.

The tour itself was good - however on the 2nd day after visiting 2 museums we got back on the bus to at stop 6 to return and was told at stop 16 that the tour ended at 5pm. We plus others were then left to find way back which was not what we expected. So beware that you leave time to return to your stop.

Like all hop on hop off bus tours this one is no different. It's a great way of getting your bearings in a strange town. Getting two days for the price of one is the bonus when traveling in the off season.

The fact that the tour was available for 2 days was a great help in seeing more of the city.

While the tour itself was wonderful, the driver was very rude, gave no information and took corners at a speed that terrified us.

Great way to see the sights of Berlin. We had the 48 hour ticket. This was good value for money too see the major sights and get round the city. Would recommend to any visitors.

I had read that others had a problem with the tour company accepting Viator bookings or not honouring the 48 hour deal but we had no problem. The tour was well paced and informative. We would have preferred it to start earlier than and finish later, but that was not big problem.

Fantastic if you have lots of time. Tour non stop takes 2 1/2 hours. Bus makes too many breaks 10-13 mins even with a nonstop tour.

Great way to see the city however some of the buses were a bit date and noisy which effected the quality of the commentator. Still good value.

It was ok. Thought the times it ran until in winter wasn't late enough like the last pick up from one stop was 2.45. Found it difficult to see what the guide was talking about because it was talking about buildings that we hadn't got to yet. Also it was talking about buildings behind other buildings that we couldn't even see. So it didn't really make much sense. I found the walking tour much better as it told you the history behind the buildings and monuments in much more detail.

Value for money, with a great opportunity to explore the city. We did the full circuit of the route first and then picked our hop off spots to suit the weather and our walking ability. Getting the river trip was a great addition - the commentary supplied by a real person was pitched for the group on the boat perfectly.

Excellent service except that critically I thought for some reason that it was for 48 hours but you only gave us from 10am Thurs to 1pm Fri which meant that we had to get public transport after that.

Viator advertised and I bought a 48hr ticket on the Berlin City Hop On bus but the bus company refused to honor the voucher and would only exchange it for a 24 our ticket.

Really the best way to see Berlin, however, there are no signs showing exactly where to get on and off. One driver left us off at one spot and we had to run to find the bus at another at Checkpoint Charilie. Also not enough info in the brochure as to when the final bus stops so that we can reach our point of origin. Again a little confusing, the actual time during one day's tour is six hours, not eight. This does not leave enough time to see many of the stops, you have to pick and choose. The tour operator did not want to honour our 24 hour ticket at first until we insisted. Again, the website was not accurate.

This tour was awesome! Stayed in a hotel right near the starting point of the tour, so it served as our city transportation. Had to ask someone to locate the correct tour operator, then had no trouble exchanging the vouchers. The commentary on the tour was interesting and the ease of hop on/off allowed visits to multiple locations. If we'd been able to stay in Berlin longer, we would definitely have used the information from the tour to decide what else to see there.

Tour and headphone information was excellent, but it was often difficult to find seats, let alone four seats together for a family. We often had to stand in order to get to our next destination.

The tour was great. However, we should have been notified in time (earlier before we got there) about the marathon and that the trip will not be a fool day as usual. That's one inconvenience sort of took place, otherwise the tour is well organized.

Our trip was a complete fiasco. we had only 5 hours to visit Berlin and thought that we could count on your schedules. The buses were either 30-45 min. late but also were full due to these delays. With the chaotic traffic in Berlin, your "on and off" is a joke. we will NOT recommend this method to anyone!!!

Our only problem with this tour was finding the starting point. The Memorial church didn't look like we expected. We didn't realize it was being refurbished and the facade made it look like a bank or legal firm building.

The audio information was very interesting and informative and we stayed on the bus for the full 2 1/2 hour round trip (mainly because it was raining!!) and got a very interesting history of the sights in Berlin, many of which we might not have got to see in the short time we were there because Berlin is huge!!

Due to a protest at Potsdam Platz, the bus took a different route by the Brandenburg Gate, so it took us a while to find the new stop! Also, could probably have got away with not even buying a ticket as no-one ever checked or asked for ours. That said, it was an interesting route, with regular buses. Would recommend.

We were a family of nine people on this tour, from age seventeen to sixty, and everybody enjoyed it very much. The one-hour boat tour was the best part of it, and I would recommend that to everyone. I think the price is very reasonable too and I will definitely take another tour like this when I visit Berlin again.

The bus allowed us to see some of the sites in Berlin that were too far to walk from the Mitte. It also allowed us to return to some places that we wanted to see more detail without spending all day walking there.

Always a good idea to do this on first arriving in a new city as it gives a overview of where things are and allows you to get on and off at will. My husband, who is completely blind, felt that he could have been given more information as we went along. There did seem to be a lot of music but we do appreciate that because of traffic conditions it is not always easy to get this right. However, that wouldn't have mattered to my husband who would have just soaked up the information no matter what we weere passing!

It is highly recommended for people who have less time but would like to cover all the important places. Its also very flexible to suit your preference as one can hop on and hop off at any stop. I had a swell of a time even though i was alone on this trip.
