The city of Berlin itself is quite charming, so the scenery sold itself - the atmosphere of the cruise was lacking on all levels...would not recommend this tour company to anyone.

Not an accurate description - instead of a picturesque cruise along the river, this ended up instead being a "Bridge Tour" that focused on the history of all of the bridges that span the river throughout Berlin. Terribly dry stuff, even if it had been in English. If you don't speak German, you're basically reading a textbook of information as you pass under bridge after bridge. I would not recommend this tour.

A wonderful experience, my only gripe was the commentary was not in English, we had a book to read but it was difficult whilst trying to eat and enjoy the scenery. Would have liked more variety to the food but what we had was well cooked and well presented. Attentive staff with a very clean boat. Very very good value for money, would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who asks. Definitely a must whilst in Berlin

I read the reviews and knew folks had a hard time finding the dock. We arrived early to ensure we could find it and I searched in google maps to get familiar with the area before our trip. The cruise was very nice, since we had been all over the city all day, and it was a good way to get food, and still move about. While the tour was in Germany, we did enjoy it a lot. We ate a-la-carte - the cost was comparable to other Berlin areas.

rather too long. The bus did not pick or drop us as promised._br/_ the english commentary was not timely and rather intermittent._br/_ Its better to go for a shorter ride

This was a great tour but then again Viator was not anywhere around and the cab had a hard time finding the dock. When we found the dock the cruise people again started to question the voucher and almost did not accept it. Viator has no people around for any of their tours.

Once on the trip we had quite a pleasant evening, however, have to agree with other comments, it is not clear which side of the river to catch the boat, none of the signs mention the supplier, which would be helpful. It made for a bit of a stressful start to the evening. In addition the tour is completely in German. That may sound weird but the tour details do mention English and my German is not good enough for a trip of three hours. The boat was OK and there is food and drink readily available even if you haven't booked the restaurant. Not sure I would recommend it.

The dinner was off the snacks menu--everything was extra; the boat was maintained; the tour guide spoke very poor English--difficult to understand. Started too late-we didn't get back to our hotel until after 11:30 PM.

Did not enjoy this...my mother couldn't speak or understand German and couldn't follow the book with the translation in the dark.. Very boring..we ended up getting off the boat earlier.

We arrived at Jannowitzbrucke bridge but couldn't at first see where the boat left from. The office was behind some trees that had grown much in the spring. Perhaps a small map to show where to go with the booking confirmation needs to be included with your description.

As this was booked via an "english spoken site". I was very dissapointed that the guide on the boat only spoke German. Especially as we were with a group of four from which 3 were from the US. Also the name of the actual company that carries out the boat tour is not mentioned on the voucher. Becaus of this we walked to 3 other boats before we found the right one

We loved all of the other tours that we took through your company. This was the only tour that we were disappointed with, but it was my fault by not reading that the tour was in German only. You could get an English printout, but you're so busy reading the information that you end up not being able to enjoy your surroundings.

We were very fortunate that after such a lovely weekend in terms of the weather, that for our evening cruise, we had glorious weather, and enjoyed the sunset from the upper deck! Some of the members felt the cruise was a little long, but overall very good. WE initially had problems getting the pre-booked dinner sorted out, and in in the end, ordered of the alacarte menu, which had a good selection. The food was great and everybody in our group 20 enjoyed their meals.

I have to say I did not enjoy the trip too much. 3 hours is a very long time on the boat. The food was nice and the staff was friendly but it was just too long. For the first 2 hours we saw the outskirts of Berlin which was not too interesting. The last hour was fab. The city looks brilliant at night. I did not like that we were handed a written English manual of the sights. My boyfriend does not speak or understand German. I ended up translating everything to him because it is not convenient to look into the manual the whole trip. I think in the capital you should have a tour guide who speaks German and English. The bus tour we did a day later was live in both languages.

My husband and I arrived early at the location of departure for the ship and were a bit worried as there were no signs or contacts to speak to regarding the ship. What made it more worrisome is that there is another tour company that also offers cruises docked across the street and at first we thought we showed up at the wrong location! But we quickly realized we were at the right place and the ship showed up right on time. As we boarded we provided the voucher to one of the staff members on the ship and decided to have dinner first. The option for dinner is not a set menu, in fact there is an extensive menu that you can order from and the prices are consistent with other restaurants local to Berlin. The food was delicious, though the service was slow. We enjoyed the cruise and my husband was able to take many amazing pictures. We would recommend this cruise to others though be sure to bring something warm with you as it does get cold in the evenings.

The tour operator needs to give more precise instructions on the pickup point. Most tourists are new to a city, and just saying landing dock near Jannonwitzbruck is not sufficient. We ran around all over the place and finally got on to some other cruise - those guys were not even sure whether Viator vouchers were for their cruise or somebody else's.

The guide for this tour was only doing it in Italian and German, we spoke English/Spanish, so when we ask if she could translate she said she could not do that and gave us a book which my husband read along the way. I understood Italian, so it was not too bad for me, but it should not be this way. We pay for a guided tour and not a reading tour. Sorry, your tour guide missed on this one. It has never happened before, usually the guides ask if they will like some explanation in other language and I don't think this lady did not know English because she was able to talk to my daughter. A bit disappointed!!!!

The cruise itself was one of the high points of our stay in Berlin. I highly recommend it to anyone. The only complaint I have is that the the directions given on the voucher were very poor. I almost missed our cruise trying to find departure point.
