Brisbane, Australia

Spend the day at beautiful Fraser Island on a guided 4WD eco tour from Brisbane or the Gold Coast. You'll travel north to Noosaville, and catch all the famous attractions on World Heritage-listed Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world. Stroll along sandy beaches and through unique rainforest. Swim in incredible freshwater lakes and encounter wild dingos in their natural habitat. With lunch included, this full day tour offers exceptional value for money.

After departing Brisbane or the Gold Coast you'll swap vehicles at Noosaville for an air-conditioned 20-seater 4WD Warrior and experience a sensational tour of World Heritage Listed Fraser Island.

Depart Noosa by heading across the Noosa river via cable ferry crossing taking you deep into the Cooloola National Park and highlighting the Teewah or Rainbow Beach coloured sands before stopping for morning tea on the beach.

Enjoy an Aussie BBQ lunch with beverages, followed by a refreshing swim in either Lake McKenzie or Lake Birrabeen.

Return back to through the forests of Satinay and Brushbox down the sandy highway enjoying an afternoon tea stop on a remote beach before returning to Noosa.

If you time is limited and you want to see as much along the Queensland coast as possible, this should be on your list. Ideally, one would spend a couple of days on Fraser Island, but we felt the 15+ hours spent was worth it. It's a comprehensive 'tour' of Fraser Island with a guide who is a capable 4WD driver and knowledgeable guide.

Best vehicle based tour I've been on. A very long day but if you haven't got more time to do Fraser Island it is definitely still a must.

A great trip seeing dingo's and amazing scenery, just felt you were in the 4WD a bit too long. BBQ food was fab!

All in all, not a bad trip, but one day was too short to visit Fraser Island.

Very Long day but worth the trip! Well organised tour taking in the highlights of Fraser despite the overly zealous bus air con and the bus breaking down . Would enjoy more in the Ozzy summer when you can actually go in the water!

This was an extremely awesome tour! Our tour guide was really informative and showed us the best parts of the island. Mackenzie lake was extremely breathtaking, and was even better to swim in. We only saw one dingo, which is the biggest concern of everyone while on Fraser island, and it was stealing from the two local fisherman. One recommendation I give, if your concerned a dingo might run away with your back pack, is just clasp it around a tree branch say 5 feet off the ground. We even saw 5 wild horses, a few kangaroos and a dolphin on our tour. Driving along the beach was an awesome feeling. If your in Brisbane and have time to take a day tour then this is one you shouldn't miss!

It was a nice trip. If you have time, spending at least 2 days is better than spending two thirds of the same day on the road. The AC was constantly running during the return, and it was freezing cold inside the bus. I got a cold because of that. But overall, I was happy about the tour.

I thought the day would be crammed since it's about two and a half hours to Fraser Island from Brisbane, but the trip turned out to be well worth doing. It was definitely a full day, but if you don't have much time and really want to see this huge sand dune island, which is amazing, this tour is the best way to fit it in.

Good trip to do if you don't have much time. You get an impression of Fraser Island but if you want to see more I would recommend another tour 2 or 3 days. It was very exhausting but also very interesting.
