My first ever tour and was pleasantly surprised. The guys operating the tour were extremely polite and helpful - I was lost and couldn't find the meeting point, yet they pulled out all stops to come and pick me up! The tour in itself was very good. Bruge is a nice little town and highly recommend that you take this tour. It's not like there is much to do in Belgium anyway other than drinking beer (Doh!). The tour provides ample time for you to do your own thing apart from walking around with the guide and the rest of the group. Worth the value!

This tour was very poor. The tour group was much too large and meant it was difficult following the tour guide through the crowded streets. It also made it difficult to get close enough to hear him speak. This was not helped by his refusal or inability to speak any louder .Very frustrating and not informative. Bruge is beautiful.

nice trip, a little bit short because Bruges is very very nice city, the guide was only in English and Spanish although I have booked it in french, so I have to translate for my parents. However I loved it.

My trip was great, the tour guide was so informative and you could tell he loves taking this tour! I would definitely recommend this tour and wouldn't have learnt so much about the city if I was alone!:)

This tour is operated by Brussels City Tours. I called to reconfirm the day before the tour and was advised to be ready at my hotel at 1245. The tour was to depart from the main station at 1200! I called the day of the tour to make sure of the time and was told to be ready at 1130! If I relied on my first call, I would have missed the tour._br/_ On the bus to Bruges, we were given some information about the city, but not much. Upon arrival we went from the bus stop to a restaurant for lunch. After that we walked to the square. Hardly any information was given on the walk about the city at all. Since we were not going to take the optional canal boat ride, were were told were to take the city bus back to the tour bus or walk back._br/_ I have used Viator many times and I respect their product. However, this tour was not up to my expectations. I would have been better taking the train and walking the city on my own.

Guide was excellent, bus trip was comfortable, but we didn't find Brugge to be quite as charming as we had hoped. Architecture is interesting, but a little too touristy.

Well worth the trip. A lovely place. I enjoyed the break up of the tour into information times and free times. I would 've liked an hour or two more in Bruges. The guide certainly did know the best places to see and shop at.

Beware the advertised door to door pick up is a lie!! We were dropped off a mile from our hotel and told to walk, i am 6 months pregnant and the last thing I am up for after an all day walking tour is another mile walk had I been aware that i was going to be left so far from my hotel I would not havebooked this tour or at least been able to make arrangements fora taxi. I was very dissappionted and cant believe I paid for pick up and drop off and then was left to walk a mile. Very poor service.

I can't say enough about this tour. It was a great tour and the city of Bruges was like right out of a storybook. The guide was knowledgeable of the history of the city and different things that he pointed out on the way there. I definitely recommend this tour. You won't be disappointed.

Even though I am grateful for the chance to see Bruges I do feel the tour itself was very pour. We left Brussels at 12pm and got there around 13.30pm, had a look at the lake of love, the swans, where the nuns live, then the chocolate shop - that brought it to about 14.10pm, then we were taken for lunch until 15.00pm!! Everyone had finished within 10minutes but we had to then walk around until 15.00pm so the tour could start again... that long is REALLY not needed for lunch considering the guide then walked us along to the Church Of Our Lady (where the Michelangelo statue is) and said a few words (BUT DIDN'T GO IN), showed us the other areas of "interest" on the map provided and left us to it, therefore this wasn't really a tour, more a lift there and back to Bruges and a help in the right direction to where to visit. I was highly disappointed by this! AND by the time the guide had talked to us and pointed us in the right direction it was around 15.25pm, the guide then pointed out from where we were it would take 20mins to walk to the area where the bus was picking us up from, therefore we only had an hour (from the belfry it was a 30min walk) to see the main attractions and considering we spent near enough that time eating, when we really didn't need that I felt left down. The guide was pleasant enough though.

The trip is too short if exclude the travelling time to and fro. But the guide is helpful and friendly and most of the important scenic and "must visit" places in Brugge has been covered in this short trip. Overall is still a pleasant experience.

The commentary on the way to Bruges was good but upon arrival the guide focused on taking the group to pre-arranged places where we should spend our money (restaurant, chocolate shop, boat ride). The walking tour of Bruges was a disappointment.

Bruges is a nice place to visit. Plus you can buy handmade chocolates here, which are quite cheap as compared to other places.

The city is beautiful and we loved every part of it. The issue was with our tour conductor, he knew nothing of historical importance about the city. Any questions about the history of the city, he didn't have any answers. He provided us with some maps and we had to find our own way after he left us half way. The pickup and drop-off of the bus was very helpful, and the driver was considerate to drop us to the nearest place to our hotel. I think more knowledge can be given to the tour conductors about how to conduct a tour.

The guide was not good, the trip was not as it was booked. We left Brussels at 1215 and returned to Brussels at 615, only 6 hours.

Timely hotel pick up and a professional guide made this tour very enjoyable. My wife and 4 children enjoyed the pace, variety of interests addressed and the simple beauty of Bruges. We previously visited Bruges in 2005, but it was the first time for our children. Thanks for delivering the tour just as described. We will look out for more Viator tours on future trips.

The tour was not worth doing it, except for the comfort of the bus transport between Brussels and Bruges and VV. The tour guide was a courteous person, however when we got into Bruges we had almost no information about the city. Right after our arrival in Bruges we were directed to an expensive restaurant for lunch and those who did not want to eat or could not afford it had to wait nearby, leading to a loss of valuable time. The tour guide only directed us through the main sites of Bruges, which is not of course ever enough. I would not recommend it at all.

I enjoyed the tour, but it might have been easier to just take the train. I didn't get much out of it other than that and felt like we were just going to places to buy things we didn't want.

The city of Bruges is beautiful, and we had great weather while there. We would recommend that others consider touring this city. However, the trip we experienced was way too hurried, and the large amount of fast walking required to keep up disappointed us. We had to forgo lunch in order to quickly work in a boat ride on the canals, which are a highlight of this city. The tour guide was in an extreme hurry to cover all that we did in such a short time. For us, more time or a reduced scope would be much more enjoyable. Also, on the return trip in the bus, the guide and bus driver talked to each other constantly, and we found this annoying. We would definitely recommend a tour to Bruges but would suggest one of a different format with more time. A relaxing tour of this city would be very enjoyable, but the go-go pace and hurried atmosphere of this one is not recommended by us.
