Great tour in a half of a day! Our pickup at the hotel was very prompt and convenient and our guide was full of detail regarding all aspects of the city. Stops were well planned - including details like being dropped off at the top of a sight and meeting the bus below.

We did a fantastic tour in Prague and unfortunately this was not as good, the guide was not very informative and we didnt get such a strong feel as to the culture. But on the plus side we did see the main sights during only 3 hours and for that we did like the tour. It didnt help that the tour was in two languages so guide did not go into much detail.

Good way to hit te highlights of the city without too much walking so worth taking if you are short on time. The guide was fun and informative but there was not enough time spent in the castle district especially when we were taken to a souvenir shop for 20 to 30 minutes when we could have been viewing more vistas or areas of historical importance. If you have the time do the sights on your own with maybe a free walking tour of Budapest for some hisotry.

On the whole it was an interesting trip. I was very disappointed when the guide started to speak Spanish as well as English as we under the impression it was an English only trip which is why we choose it. The guide was very good and suggested that we acccompaned at the office We decided to wait until we arrived home and this is by way of a complaint regarding the trip.

Great Tour guide. She was great. Had trouble with Viator this time. I did not receive a confirmation time for pickup and had no idea what to do. I'm from the US and I had to spend extra money on our of the country calls to figure out where to meet the tour.

Hotel pick-up was actually on foot not as stated by coach. Coach was a freezing cold mini-bus. All bar two people were English speaking but 75% of time German was spoken- so much so that at Castle area all English speaking guests wandered off to do their own thing. Very disappointing. We were sorry we had paid in advance as we certainly would not have paid on the day. This was not as advertised and we certainly will not book through Viator again.

This is a good tour if you're short of time which we were. The main features and attractions of Budapest were covered as per the blurb. Could have extended to include a couple more sites eg the Jewish quarter and Terror House.

There is so much to see in Budapest that a half day tour is probably not really long enough, but this one did cover a lot of territory including some stops at the major touristy places. A very beautiful city that was well explained and easily viewed - many beautiful buildings and heritage places visited on the tour. Worthwhile doing for new visitors.

A bit rushed. No return transfer to hotel from drop off point. Personally I think you could do better with the hop on hop off bus which went to all the sites we visited.

Pick up was prompt and tour guide Judith was excellent on local knowledge. If staying briefly in Budapest this is an excellent tour of all main sights to give you an overview. We then walked back to some of the sights to linger longer ourselves. Enjoy!

We were picked up at our hotel and taken a few minutes drive to the tour bus, large minibus, very comfortable. The guide spoke in Spanish and English to suit all passengers, detailed description and good knowledge of her city and history. Toured Pest side first, viewing key buildings and then stopped for photos talk and viewed Schenenyi baths at Heroes Square. Then across the Danube at Erzsebet bridge to Buda side and after talk and viewing Royal castle time for photostop at Fishermans Bastion. A long stop then at Gellert hill viewpoint, maybe too long, would've liked time to look around Gellert hotel and thermal bath whilst on Buda side. Back across Chain bridge and back to base to find way back to hotel. Very enjoyable and good introduction to Budapest at the beginning of holiday to find way around and choose places to revisit.

The half-day sightseeing tour of Budapest was a good introduction to the main sights of Budapest. En route, we decided which sights we would investigate further over the course of our stay. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to enjoy sharing her knowledge of her home town.

We enjoyed the sightseeing tour. Well worth the money. It was a great way to see most of Budapest. Because the city is so large you really need to take a tour to catch most of the sights. The tour guide was extremely friendly and spoke English. The bus was clean and it was really nice to have headphones so you could hear. We had a small group so it was nice to be able to get about easily on and off the bus and through the sites we visited. Just wished we had a chance to do a little shopping along the way. I would recommend this tour if you are in Budapest.

An excellent overview of the main sights with a pleasant personable guide. We then returned to explore the highlights at our leisure. It was a little light on historical content and the commentary could be described as "Bland".However,it was enjoyable and excellent value for money.

The sightseeing tour was an informative and enjoyable experience that introduced us to the key sights, places, and venues of Budapest. Not only did this give us our 'bearings' of the city, we learned so much about the history, architecture, and culture of the place from the approachable and knowledgeable guide. We subsequently revisited many of the venues during our stay that we had initially seen on the tour. Great value and a wonderful start to our visit!
