Budapest's magnificent neo-Gothic Parliament building is the home of the Holy Hungarian Crown. Your guide will lead you through the splendid Session Room, the impressive central staircase and the wonderful Great Vaulted Hall. Along the way, you'll be entertained and informed by your guide's anecdotal and historical commentary.

The Parliament building was built between 1885 and 1902, and was for a time the largest parliamentary building in the world. With 691 rooms and staircases stretching for more than 12 miles (20 kilometers), the building is topped by an elegant dome soaring 226 feet (69 meters) into the sky.

The building is predominantly neo-Gothic with Renaissance influences, although the base ground plan is Baroque. A strong Byzantine influence is noticeable in the interior of the building, especially in the marvelously decorated staircase hall.

First of all if you are not in an organised trip the Parliament is very difficult to see. That said Viator organised a great trip. The pick up to the hotel worked in time and was excellent. The guide knew the parliament very well, its History and the vicinity as well. We learned a lot. The building itself is beautiful and worth the visit. I recommend it!

The Parliament House is a wonderful building with lots of incredible detail to see inside. The best part of the tour was that it allowed us to skip the line and enter the building with almost no waiting. The worst part was that we saw only a fraction of the building and that a security guard accompanied the group the entire way urging us to move forward, telling us where we could stand, etc. Our guide was competent and spoke very good English.

Our visit to Parliament was wonderful experience. The guide, Adriana, was very nice young lady, very charming and ready to answer all the questions we had. The tour was very good organized, and we will use "Viator"s services in the future, whenever we travel.

The tour was very professional._br/_ Our tour guide spoke excellent English, he had a wide knowledge about Hungarian history which made the tour very interesting. Though getting access to the parliament is a bit stressful. As there are so many groups to visit the parliament the schedule is a bit tight and in order not to fall too behind the group in front of us made us feel that the trip is a bit rushed.

I was quite lucky because I was the only guest in the English-language tour of the Parliament, so it was like a personal tour. My tour guide was very knowledgeable not only about the Parliament building, but also about the country's history and politics, which made for a very lively discussion during our tour.

Our parliament tour was good. The building is spectacular. We were picked up from our hotel on time. The guide was excellent- very friendly and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to take us to the metro station, help us buy the tickets and explained how to get to our other destinations.We wished we had the same guide inside the building (there was a different guide belonging to the building and we had to follow).we also wished that the tour was longer. We felt rushed. Couldn't take many pictures.This tour is a must in Budapest._br/_

Great tour of a magnificent site! Tour van picked us up at our river boat as scheduled. Courteous driver and very knowledgeable guide. Only problem was that we had to find our own way back to boat after the 45 minute tour had ended

Pick up van from company was in front of our apartment on the scheduled time that was printed on my voucher. We were then taken to the company's office to meet the tour guide and other tourists. From here they took us in a big tour bus to the parliament building. We have a very friendly and clued up tour lady. Because the tour only started at 10h15, she took us so long on a short walking tour to nearby interesting buildings and shared her history knowledge with us while we have to wait for half an hour. This was really appreciated a lot. Her English was fluent and she also has a very good vocabulary so that she could talk easily to the tourists. Well done!

I was very impressed with the whole process! We had to change the hotel and it did not cause any problems, confusions or delays. Everyone we had to deal with was most pleasant and helpful. The actual tour was very interesting and the guide was brilliant!

It was a great tour. It was advertised as ending at the InterContinental Hotel, but we were informed at the start of the tour that we would not be taken back to the hotel. It was pouring rain at the conclusion, and the extra distance was not appreciated!

The tour was excellent, and the guide was very knowledgeable. The problem was being picked up at our hotel, which is literally across the river from Parliament. When I called and complained they sent a cab, and we made it for the tour.
