The 1.5 hour tour gives you a fantastic opportunity to try out a Segway and also give you the chance for a quick orientation of inner Pest and fabulous views of the stunning buildings along our route.  Besides the main attractions within the inner Pest, you will also get a quick look at the Chain Bridge, Roosevelt Square and more before heading back to the departure point

The standard 2.5 hour tour gives you a fantastic orientation of inner Pest and fabulous views of the stunning Buda Castle District. You will glide from the office in the city center to sites including St. Stephen's Basilica, the Hungarian State Opera House and the Grand Boulevard of Andrassy framed by its tree-lined avenues. Next we'll cruise through Vorosmarty Square and the Vaci Walking District. Finally visit Vigado and Danube Promenades, the Chain Bridge, Roosevelt Square and more!

Excellent trip, and great value for money. The instructor was patient and very thorough, at the start I felt useless but after a while felt completely comfortable and confident on it. The tour itself was a brilliant way to see Budapest; I imagine it would be a wonderful experience in the summer, but even in February it was great (although wear gloves!). I honestly can't recommend this highly enough - definitely worth a go!!

We had a wonderful tour. Our guide said he was the best instructor and he was. We were apprehensive at first but soon we were handling the Segway like we were experts. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars was because I wish we could have taken a break along the way for pictures and a rest. I think it would be nice for us older folks who aren't used to being upright for such a long time.

Excellent. Our first time on a segway. Andreos our tutor was fab. He was friendly and very reassuring. His expert training had us riding like a 'pro' in just a few minuites. He seem very knowledgable on history and facts on Budapest.

Amazing! My friends and I had such a nice time with this tour. Tour Guide was very friendly. We had 30mins practicing time with Guide which she helped us a lot. Then we toured around Budapest with Segway. It was so easy, quick and fun. 3hr passes sooooo quickly! Its a bit shame that the tour does not cover many places but covers main attractions. I def recommend this tour!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would definately recommend this trip as a different way to see Budapest. The instructor was great. One comment would be that while the advert says approximately 3.5 hours ours only took 2.5 hrs including the orientation on the Segways.

Riding a segway has always been a great experience regardless of the place. This particular tour is good to do as it orientates visitors around the area and provides valuable information about important landmarks.

When booking things on line - out of season - etc I was very concerned about the reality of this booking. However 10 out of 10 as the company were expecting us, they were open and prepared for us and they were a lot of fun. So the segways themselves - This is REAL road riding - so prep was very important. Like everything else in life - you MUST have on go on these things. Even in the cold out of season Feb in the Buda and the Pest - this was a great way to see the city and get your agenda set for the rest of the weekend etc. Impressed with Viator - impressed with the company they used - had fun with the Segways... Go on - you know you have always wanted to have a go on one ....

Booked 6 of us for NYE morning 31.12.09. Lady guide was patient and considerate and SO enthusiastic about history of Budapest and we covered a lot of ground. The Segways were the highlight of our trip I speak for all. Such fun and once full training given, we all relaxed and enjoyed the experience. We're all 'segway fans' now!!

Perhaps in the future new circuits or activities on the Segway tour can be added. We liked it so much that we would have loved to take another tour through a different part of the city. Don't leave Budapest without doing it!

Always wanted to try a Segway, and it proved to be an exciting way to tour the downtown. Plenty time is allocated to learning to use the Segway, and our guide went at a pace that suited us, rather than sticking rigidly to a timetable. She was one of the most entertaining and informative people we spoke to, and the tour is a good way to get your bearings. Although you are asked to be responsible for paying for repairs to the Segways, they are well broken in bits of kit and managed to survive quite a few bumps and scrapes with no problem. All staff at the tour office are friendly, and it's a relaxed place, easy to find.

So much fun! It's a great way to see Budapest, and the tour guide was knowledgeable, funny and cute, so I learned a lot. First time I ever used a Segway, it was easy and by the end I was going off some pretty sweet jumps! This was a good way to see Pest but we did not go to Buda, so save time for that. This is a tour that is definitely worth your while, riding a Segway is very fun and you should definitely do it, and where better than in Hungary.

We had great fun doing this tour. Despite one of our party having reservations about using the Segway, we all got the hang of it and had much fun whizzing about the place. Our guide was friendly and helpful. I had expected a little more information from our guide about what we were seeing and the history of the city, but overall I'd definitely recommend it as a fun and unusual activity - and one where you temporarily become a tourist attraction in your own right, as the Segways definitely turn heads!

My sister and I had a great guide and a wonderful tour of Budapest. If a 65-year-old and a 59-year-old can ride a Segway, anyone can The Segways also saved our knees and bodies in a heat wave of 104 degrees. We will do this again.

Absolutely terrific! Book early as this tour fills up weeks in advance. Our guide was a very knowledgeable guide, answering all of our questions about Budapest, ancient and new. He patiently worked with each of us until we were comfortable with the Segway. This tour was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip!
