Very disappointing. Guide just took us to The Great Synagogue where we heard only the last part of a talk. Couldn't hear or understand anything that the speaker said. Also had no time to make even a small purchase in the gift shop. Not worth the money. Other people who just went to the Synagogue on their own had a much better experience.

This was by far the best tour we took! The guide, Laslow, was excellent, stayed with us and explained many things--we thoroughly enjoyed our morning!

This was an amazing tour. We were a group of only six, which was just perfect. The guide was very knowledgeable. The tour was well paced, and we left with a real feel for the neighbourhood as it is, and more importantly, as it was before and during WWII

The sites were worth seeing, but the tour could have been better organized. Also, we did not get dropped back to the hotel. We were on our own after the tour.

This tour spends far too long in the museum. It seemed like the guide talked about every single item on display.

This tour was awful and very disorganized. The tour guide, while knowledgeable about Jewish Budapest, had to handle the tour in both Spanish and English. While in the Jewish Museum, the English-speakers were tossed off to another museum guide while the main guide continued in Spanish. The languages, even she admitted, made the tour much longer and much more boring, as we spent more than half the time waiting while she translated in Spanish. The tour only visits the main synagogue, the second largest in the world and largest one in Europe, was very impressive, but you could clearly go in and do this on your own for a lot less. The rest of the tour was a walk around the old ghetto where everything was closed and a bit run down.

Excellent, knowledgeable guide. I wish they had included the "Jewish Shoes" monument in the tour.

This was a very worthwhile trip as long as you have been on Jewish tours elsewhere, so that you can put into context. The overall feeling that I came away with was that even today Budapest has not fully accepted the past. A very thought provoking tour.
