It's all happening at Cairns Night Zoo when the sun goes down! You'll feast on a typical Australian barbecue, spot wildlife by torchlight, do some stargazing under the southern skies, then enjoy live music and entertainment around the campfire.

This thoroughly "Aussie" night begins with a hearty barbecue dinner of steak, chicken, fish, prawns and salads, plus complimentary beers, wines and soft drinks. After feasting on dinner, you'll join your intrepid guide to see what some Australians get up to after dark! Supplied with your own flashlight, you'll be led into the darkness to meet Australia's creatures of the night. You'll see crocodile eyes glow in the torchlight, learn how owls hunt, touch a possum and pat a koala. On clear nights the guides will take you star gazing to see the Southern Cross, Big Dipper and other well-known constellations.

You'll also join the Zoo's resident swagman and tame kangaroos for traditional billy tea and bush damper around the campfire, and enjoy great Aussie live entertainment. This fabulous fun night out is one to remember!

I would definitely do this again and if you have kids, its a must do. Lots of food and drink, photo with a koala, and hand feed kangaroos. What;s better than that!

A wonderful experience, but somewhat limited in the variety of animals visited. A great experience for overseas visitors as they get to see Australian wildlife up close. Would certainly recommend it.

Fantastic night. It was my partners 50th birthday and the crowd sang 'happy birthday' to him. My youngest daughter was invited by the staff to perform with them on stage. Overall a fantastic night.

Great Experience. If you're booked for time and can't fit a zoo or wildlife trip in during the day then definitely do this. The alligator feeding and hand feeding the kangaroos was awesome.

This was a great trip to do as we got a chance to get up close to the animals and see the animals that would normally be asleep during the day. Watching the crocs get fed was fun. The food was good and there was plenty of it, free drinks during the evening made a change too. The staff were friendly and informative.

This was lots of fun. They let you pet the Koala Bears and you get to feed the kangaroos. This provided great close up-and-personal opportunities. You get to see the crocodiles as well. The food was not that great.

The food was plentiful and fabulous, the drinks were free flowing, and the zoo keepers were fabulous. This was the last event on our trip and was well worth every cent. So so so many animals, all in the nighttime, koalas and kangaroos as well as crocodiles and snakes. Oh my. It was all fabulous.

This was loads of fun. Enjoy a nice dinner and authentic Aussie entertainment. The zoo tour is very interesting. It's great to see the nocturnal animals up and about. The best part was the bush tea. I got to pet and feed a mob of kangaroos. This activity is a great intro to Australian culture and wildlife.

This was a lot of fun! Dinner included chicken, steak, and fish with salad, potatoes, and more. All the food was pretty good. Dinner was served in a covered pavilion which had plenty of wine and beer on tap. The ability to hand feed kangaroos was our favorite part of the night, closely followed by the koala petting, which was closely followed by one of the guides feeding crocodiles from within the crocodile enclosure. The Night Zoo is close to Cairns and Port Douglas and is well worth a trip if you're in the area. This is also a very kid-friendly outing. Highly recommended!

We went on many tours while in Australia, and this was by far the best. Everyone in our party enjoyed the tour of the Zoo where all of the nocturnal animals were wide awake and entertaining. The food beforehand and the entertainment afterwards were first class in every way, and we would recommend this tour to anyone.

This was the best tour of our whole trip, and the least expensive. Definitely join in with the band. This was a tremendous experience. We will definitely visit again! The koalas were great, and the crocodiles were rather big!
