Worth taking to get an idea of where to find the sightseeing places in Copenhagen, as well as learn the history of the places you visit

Plane arrived late so could not use the three route tour. Did the red line tour on another date, this picked up near ship. Did a lap of city and was meant to go via the zoo and I thought return. However it ended at Tivoli Park, we had to change to another bus. Went past nhavn canal district and then drove back to Little Mermaid where it terminated. After much stress with several buses we eventually got onto a small local bus which took us back to ship. No signs advising where to wait or on local bus. Have done hop-on tours all over the world and this would have to be the worst. Fellow passengers said they would never take another one, we all felt as if we had been stranded. Our ship was not parked near the Little Mermaid however if bus picked up from the other terminal I would have thought we could return there as well.

Good tour. Took on first afternoon in City. would recommend asking questions about how to get off and on, so you can better utilize this tour. Recommend this as an overview of city.

It was a great way to see the city on our first full day in Copenhagen. Once we figured out the frequency and timing of the tour we were able to getting around easily and see all the things we wanted to and not feel rushed. Fair price with good end result.

As we had limited time in Copenhagen we found the Hop-on Hop-off Tour ideal. Before winter the Danes, like most of Europe do all their city and road maintenance which made city centre walking very difficult. This tour made access to all the major attractions very easy and I would recommend it highly.

not very good. Waited forty minutes for the first bus at the Little Mermaid. Tivoli Gardens closed. We sat on the bus for 30 minutes, before moving off. Waited forty minutes at the Crown Jewels stop for a bus. Would not consider using it again.

Very good, picked up at the cruise terminal on the RED route. Unfortunately only able to do one of the three trips as the last bus at the end of September was 1530hrs and would not have made the last Red trip to return to the ship except by a very expensive taxi.. The following morning again unable to use the the bus as the first trip wasnt until 1045 and had to be abck on board by 1215. The monthly schedule times should be made clearer particluarly outside of the peak holiday/visitor season.

This worked out very well, arrived by cruise ship and bus waiting there, ideal to get around and then decide which areas you would like to look at in more detail. Was a bright sunny day so managed to see a great deal in the time available.

A good way to see Copenhagen. We took all three routes. You get ear phones when you board your first bus. Sometimes you had to turn the dial to figure out what station had your language on it. The bus drivers weren't very helpful if you got off the bus and didn't seem to know which direction to go for some of the stops. i thought that was a little lame

The tour has many buses however the green and yeallow one do not have many so I had to wait for long time to take a next bus. In general it was good experience for me when I travelled alone and had short time ( only a weekend) . But it would be better if the service is improved as I saw there is "jump on jump off2 tour as well. I may try this new company for the next time travelling!

The red line (mermaid route) very good, the times given for the green route were incorrect so wasted a lot of time near opera house waiting for a bus , eventually caught local bus back to palace. The last tour each day is VERY early and doesn't allow sufficient time to go on all 3 routes. Considering the time when it gets dark, the buses should run until at least 6pm.

This tour was good, not great, but good. The bus drivers are a bit difficult when you ask questions. I find that they don't really want to be asked too much. Hop on Hop Off tours are great for the first day in a city to understand what you really want to go back and spend time at and to see an overview of the city.

Did not have shuttle at cruise terminal - we were told that there would be one.. We walked a mile or so before we could find a hop-on hop-off bus. Then bus got stuck in traffic (gay pride parade - think bus drivers knew this was going on) and told us to go somewhere else to get on another bus - then after sitting on that bus we were told to go to another spot to get on another bus. _br/_ So this was not a very good experience. Could ot recommend this tour to others.

Getting on the bus at Tivoli was chaotic,a queue system needs to be organised.Once on it was O.K. Would advise not visiting Copenhagen on a Sunday, or when a huge charity walk is taking place.

We use The Red Bus Hop-on Hop-off almost every city we visit and, like several reports we read on other review sites, we agree that Copenhagen is signifucantly the poorest we have ever encountered. The age and quality of red double deckers in Copenhagen vary enormously as does the helpfulness or lack of it by the staff. Main problem is with the audio equipment whih simpkly didn;t work at a number of seats. the driver dismissed it saying it must be the headsets - it wasn't - the control boxes were obviously broken. Also, one bus stopped for 45 minutes without telling passengers on board that they were taking a break The driver knew a lot of the pax were cruise pax who have a very minted time ashore. For an international brand/ "franchise" this poor service is simply not good enough.

The hop on hop off bus was not a very good experience. The bus was over 1 hour late to pick us up and the wait time forbuses when you wanted to get back on was very long. We had to walk it was quicker.

Unfortunate timing. The Copenhagen triathlon was on this day, so unfortunately bus could not follow correct route, and the city was full of traffic jams. Not a good experience! Had we known in advance we would not have booked.

Joined the bus, had good seats and excellent English commentary. Unfortunatley the bus only went one stop, needless to say we were now at the back of a queue. The English commentary was mixed with several other languages, whcih made it very difficult to understand. Had the wather been dry we would have waited for another bus or got off at another stop.

We loved the fact that there was no guide so all visitors could have their own headphones and switch to their own language. The information given was helpful and thorough. The bus arrived quickly and had stops in all the major sights of the city. We also had the chance to stop for photos. Copenhagen was a beautiful city so we could not ask for a better way to see it all. We hope that next time we book a tour, the Greek language will also be included.

Great value! I love hop on hop off bus tours. I have taken them in many different cities I have visited. This gives you a wonderful overview of the city. When you're really tired it is a lifesaver! It is nice to prepurchase a tour like this because you can jump on to one once you arrive at your city and get going on your sightseeing!

This was a great way to become familiar with Copenhagen. The bus on all three lines was frequent during the day and the commentary on the head phone system was clear and interesting. The bus stopped very early....around 6:00pm. We felt that a later hour for end of service plus an evening option to see the lights of the city would have been appreciated.

The bus was waiting at the cruise terminal which was good, but then we had to wait for all the other passengers who had not pre booked, which took too long. Commmentary, phones routes all good, with a little confusion over where to get the different coloured routes. We only had a 1/2 day here but were able to do all 3 routes in that time, and visit the ice bar. We didn't have time to get off much but the routes gave a very good overview of the city.

Booking the tour online and finding the bus stop was easy. We had to do all three tours in one day due to late arrival in Copenhagen on the first day. It would have been better if the buses ran after 3:30. We got the last bus on the third tour just by luck. Of course we could not " hop off" to see any sights. I would recommend not booking this activity before arrival in the city. The other problem was the audio system. We were not provided with earplugs on the first bus so had to use someone else's who had left them on the seat, and so had to take the plugs with us to the next bus- only the third bus had a box of unopened earplugs at the entrance so this should definitely be rectified. The English commentary was very good but we had some trouble finding it as the dial was not working properly; it's a good thing we understood the French!

Very pleased with service from Viator. Paper work easy and no problems getting on the bus with it. Tour did exactly what we wanted it to - pointed out places of interest for us to take a longer look at if we wished. Would use Viator again in similar circumstances.

Anytime we spend more than one day in a city that we first visit, we like to get our berings as to the sites. Hop-on-hop-off is the best way to do this. It is like a land curise without the food. You can connect with other people with similar interests.

We booked all three hop on hop off tour buses, which didn't cost much more than booking just the Mermaid. We did 2 of the 3 and saw a great deal of the city. My pictures through the bus window came out great. It was a cloudy, very windy day, so we're glad we had the bus. In between the 2 tours, we ate at a local pub which was great. Only con was when the bus returned to the pier, it didn't stop, just drove in and out. A bunch of us had to yell to the driver to please let us off so we could go back to the ship!
