You'll start in Fez, the spiritual and cultural center of Morocco. The most ancient of the imperial cities, it is a city of enormous variety and contrast. The splendor and beauty of its monuments and architecture are unrivaled.

Meknes is one of Morocco's most striking imperial cities. The Sultan Moulay Ismail made Meknes his capital. Palaces, mosques, gardens, lakes, granaries and stables were built over a period of 50 years, and yet Moulay Ismail's dream city, surrounded by a massive rampart wall, was never finished.

Surrounded by beautiful beaches, the city of Rabat has a very special ambiance, with its memorable blend of Islamic and European influences. The fourth of the imperial cities, Rabat was only declared the modern capital of Morocco in 1913.

Before returning to Spain, you'll make a stop in Tangier, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea.

The Morocco trip was good with very nice guides. The hotel in Fez could be improved...we didn't have water in the water tank of our toilet and could not use it in that night and the next morning. However, it was resolved after we asked our guide to inform the person in the reception desk.

2 nights and days in Fez are too much for this city. I think that was not a good idea to see Rabat and Meknes and an additional 500 km. traveling in one day. In my opinion trip planning was not good enough. We are satisfied from the selection of hotels.

This is a great trip for anyone looking for a taste of Morocco within a limited time. We had an excellent guide who provided a genuine insight into the country's culture and history. Accommodation and other provisions for our comfort and safety were excellent. It should be noted, though, that we were the only 2 people on the tour and we therefore had one-to-one interaction with the guide and driver all the way through.

This tour should be called Fez, Rabat, Tangiers. The tour of the Fez medina was not a real tour but was aimed at selling overpriced goods to tourists. Out of the four days, we ended up spending two on the bus. The guide was very difficult to understand in English. We were supposed to spend a night in Rabat, which actually looked quite nice, but that night was replaced by a night in Tangiers. The hotel in Fez was passable, and the hotel in Tangiers was very nice and had a good location. The food was OK. Transfers were handled were very well. I guess it was OK value for the money and a quick glance at Morocco. If you plan on taking this tour, you should make prior enquiries about who is in your group and the main language to be used for touring.
