Immerse yourself in Indian culture and dine with a local family. This is an opportunity to learn more about local life, Indian lifestyle, the traditions of home life and the importance of family in Indian culture, arranged marriages and of course, the food.

After meeting your local guide, travel by Metro Rail to start your real life Indian experience. Upon arrival, you'll be met by your gracious host and welcomed into their home. As dinner is being prepared, your guide will provide an insight into Indian family life. You'll dine on a traditional Indian home-cooked meal which will be predominantly vegetarian and sure to tantalize your taste buds. You will also learn about the food and the traditional spices and techniques used in preparation.

This is not just a meal, but a dining experience in a family home, an opportunity to experience Indian hospitality. Traveling in a small group, maximum 12 participants adds to this unique and intimate experience. 

At the end of the trip you are free for personal exploration or alternatively your local guide can assist with arranging a taxi back to your hotel.

The cultural night tour exceeded our expectations! The host family was very gracious and hospitable and allowed us to join in in cooking the meal. To top things off, they dressed my wife in a sari and painted her hand in a henna design and outfitted me with a turban. We felt like royalty with the treatment we were given. It was not until the next day that our hosts alerted us via email that my wife had left her wedding band at their home. They saw to it that the third party tour operator, Intrepid tours, got the ring to us in good fashion. All in all, everything worked out well.
