Pick up from our hotel was right on time.Our tour guide was excellent and the tour itself was well worth doing. Only down fall was that would have preferred to have been with other English speaking tourists as my husband and i were the only ones who spoke English and the other 9 people were German which meant the tour guide had to keep jumping from one language to another. Didn't help when the German tourists kept interrupting our guide every time he tried to talk in English to my husband and I felt they were very rude. But other than that I would highly recommend it.

The day of the tour happened to coincide with the preparations for National Day so the traffic was horrendous and we got stuck in a jam going to pick up other tourists at their hotels. Subsequently we were a little late joining the tour. When we got there we discovered it was a tour given in German but fortunately the guide did translate everything into English. Again because of the celebrations our tour was interrupted because we couldn't get across the Creek to the Gold Souk because all the Abras had stopped because they were having a fireworks display later on. This resulted in a wait for our mini bus to come and collect us and drive us to the Gold Souk and we then didn't have any time at all there. It also took an age to get back to the hotel. I do think that the tour company should have made allowances for this because they should have known how things would be. Also there was no communication about the Abras not running and the Stations being closed and I think this was very bad planning on someone's part.

Good trip but would have liked more time at the Dubai museum which was really interesting rather than the Gold shops._br/_ We were last drop off taking us back which took 2 hours if we'd known we would have simply got a taxi from final point on the trip.

I have recently returned from my holidays I spent only 2 days in Dubai and 7 days in the Maldives so I thought I would book the Dubai City Half Day tour to see as much as I could of Dubai before travelling on to my other destination - it was well worth every penny, we were picked up directly from our hotel, taken by air conditioned mini bus to various destinations for photo stops, all the places you would want to see but wouldn't have time to get there on your own - the tour was brilliant I would highly recommend this sightseeing tour to anyone stopping of in Dubai. We went to see the Palm Hotel, tallest building in the world, the mosque, the museum - this is a must!, we also went by boat over the Creek to the Gold and Spice Souks, after all this (which takes four hours) we were then taken by private car back to our hotel. Excellent tour and tour guide - five star rating - 100% satisfied, next time I travel I will definately look into Viator to see if they have any tours available for where we are going.

I would not recommend this tour, ever. The actual tour is only 2.15 hours, the rest of the time is picking up and dropping off. I am a 42 year old travel agent from Australia and this would have to be the worst tour I ever been on in all my years of being a travel agent. Extremely disappointed. I only had one day in Dubai and it was totally wasted. Next time I visit Dubai I will be doing the hop on/hop off bus tour instead so I get to see the sights up close, not from a distance of a mile away! The only reason I give this a one star is I have no other option as the rating will not let me enter without it.

Disorganised guides at start and finish- counted everyone on the bus 6 times! Commentary was in German and English, but 75% German so English speakers missed a lot. Shuttle driver at the end didn't know how to get to our hotel!! and took at least 20minutes longer than needed. The least enjoyable tour of our holiday. Do it yourself is my advice.

Ok, the first thing is if you do the tour make sure that you have a bottle of water and hat with you as Dubai is quite hot and humid. We were picked up early in the tour so we got to see a lot of Dubai as we were driving around picking up other people. Our guide was very good in explaining things to us and he was also very friendly and happy. Dubai is quite interesting in regards to both it's past and present and just how young it's new part of the city is. The place where you stop to take you photos of the worlds only 7 star hotel or other is not as close as you might think but it is still a nice area to get out and stretch your legs for 10 minutes. You do a tour of an old fort which is not exactly fantastic but worth seeing. After you cross the old creek river you walk for around 5-10 minute past the spice markets and through to the gold souke. I was dissappointed that you only get the briefest of glimpses and smells of the spice market and yet you spend about 40 minutes in the gold souke. It would be better if they gave you the option for people that are not interested in spending their money on gold jewellery to go through the spice market instead. All up though it is worth doing, it won't leave you breathless because of how amazing it was but it is a good chance to see both Dubai's present and past and for what it cost it it well worth it.

In the heat of Dubai I'm glad we chose this option rather than the HOHO bus which was also available. The tour visited most of the major Dubai attractions providing a good overview of Dubai in airconditioned comfort. Ideal for those on a short stopover.

I would firstly like to thank our tour guide and driver. Well done. We booked this tour when we were cruising the emirates on the Costa Liminosa. At first I was worried, but it turned out we had VIP pick up at the dock by taxi. We waited in the taxi for the main tour bus to arrive. We then joined the rest of the tour. It was a very good tour and half the price of the one offered by Costa for the same trip. I would definately do it again.

Fabulous. We saw far more than we could ever have managed on our own in the limited time we had in Dubai. Everything was explained and we had time to shop in the souks if we wished and to explore the lovely museum. Everything was organised and waiting for us, even a dhow to take us across the creek. With uplift and drop off at hotel included, there was no worries about getting lost. Great value.

This was a very good and varied tour. The boat across to the souks was quite fun. Don't expect the Burj Dubai Tower to be included on the tour though - some of the people on our tour seemed to think it would be and were disappointed. We weren't expecting it to be part of the tour and were quite happy overall - our guide was very good and professional.

This was a very interesting tour. Only one word of caution depending on the hotel you live in, you might be prepared for a very long ride home if you are one of the last to be dropped off. My tour lasted a total of almost 6 hours, by the time I was returned to my hotel. It was worth it, though.
