An evening in genuine Italian style is devoted to discovering Tuscan cuisine and hearing the most celebrated Italian opera arias and famous Neapolitan songs.

Your host will guide you to an ancient and fascinating neighborhood in the old city center, where you will dine at a traditional restaurant. You will be served a typical Tuscan dinner with excellent Chianti wine.

After dinner, take a short stroll into the historic Anglican Church, the setting for your intimate concert performance. Your reserved seat in the front row is ideal for taking in the acoustics and ambiance as professional singers take the stage. You'll be enchanted by works by Puccini, Verdi, Rossini and other renowned Italian composers, along with world-famous Neapolitan songs.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. The dinner was enjoyable, but the concert was the real treat. We sat just a few feet from the performers, so we felt as if we were part of the show. The selections were enjoyable, even to those not familiar with opera. The only negative point was that we had to walk a bit to the restaurant and then to the concert. This was challenging for some of the older people (such as me).

The Opera performance was amazing! The church - St Mark's Anglican Church is a beautiful place to host the performance. Food was pretty good - generally the standard in Florence is pretty high across the board - but didn't think it was up among the best. Reckon it's not worth the money considering the portion and the types of dish served. You're better off getting the opera tickets on your own (it's less than half the price of this tour) unless you're just not bothered about paying the extra. P/S: Tour guide was pretty good, but we had four very unfriendly ladies on the tour who seemed interested to only get to the restaurant and then straight to the opera, so the tour guide wasn't in a mood to talk much, which was a real shame.

I highly recommend this tour!! Antonio was a fabulous guide on the walking tour, especially charming was the fact he grew up in the very areas that we walked!! So we got history and a peak into the day to day life in "old" Florence even 50 years ago. The food, wine and service for the 4 course dinner were typically wonderful Italian fare. But the concert was spectacular!!! Ah! to hear Italian opera expertly sung IN FLORENCE!!! Such an unexpected treat!!! We were so glad we took this tour on our first night in Florence as it set the tone for the rest of our visit. We felt that we had visited the "soul" of Florence, not just the "tourist sites". We will do this tour again, the next time we are in Florence!!

This was fantastic! I wish I could remember the name of our guide because he was so friendly, nice and informative! The dinner was so-so in taste and quality, but the walking part of the tour was beautiful and the concert after dinner was superb! A must!

This is a booking worth considering. We had a wonderful evening. The food was nice, although a tad hurried. The concert was fine, with great ambiance and fine singers. Even if you are not a die hard classical music fan, this is a great way to sample the evening delights in Florence.

Our tour guide was excellent and very informative. The restaurant however left a lot to be desired. Food was terrible, service was ordinary. Need to change restaurant. The opera was fantastic. The performers were exceptional. Would recommend opera!

We (5 of us) had a wonderful time at the concert--it was a splendid evening. The dinner was somewhat rushed due to the size of the group (22) and the need to keep to a schedule. The food was excellent, however, and the restaurant staff were delightful as they raced to accommodate us. Altogether a fine evening in Florence and I would absolutely recommend it to other travelers.

My daughter said this was her favorite excursion. Dinner was very good and relaxing and after having our fill of food and wine, we relaxed to the absolutely beautiful music of the opera. We hadn't realized it was a charitable event but that was neither here nor there as it was quite lovely.

Going into this open-minded as my husband and I are, by no means, opera lovers, we do love music and performances that call out for acknowledgment and love of voice. Both the dinner and the concert were truly wonderful. The concert was performed by 3 people and truly worth seeing. In the end, we are glad we did not miss out on the experience. Oh, by the way, we enjoyed our tour guide, Antonio. He was great!

An absolutely superb evening. The guide was very knowledgeable and informative; the dinner at Bebos was excellent and great value, and the opera concert at St Marks was a truly memorable surprise. We have done Covent Garden London, La Scala Milan, the Arena at Verona and others and can say that this short concert with outstanding pianist and opera singers was just as enthralling. The guide was very friendly and the dinner was great. We ended going back to the restaurant a few days later and had another great meal. The concert was intimate, and lasted about an hour. Just the right amount of time for me. Something different and a lot of fun.

This was on our last night and was a great grande finale. Real professional pianist and soloists from Florence Opera Werks. The dinner was superb..a classic 5 course Italian meal. Very nice restaurant.

We had a very good guide in Andrea - quite unassuming but friendly and knowledgable. We had a short walking tour over the Ponte Vecchio Bridge to the restaurant where we partook in a lovely meal with wine, then headed to St Mark's Church for the concert. We had reserved seats in the second row. The venue had an intimate atmosphere. The singers and pianist were excellent. My non classical music loving husband enjoyed it as well. An extremely pleasant and enjoyable first night in Florence.

It was OK but the pianist was regrettably of-key in some passages. The soprano, although blessed with a good voice, had problems with her presence, i.e. wearing a man's watch with a sequined gown. Then the tenor unfortunately developed a nose bleed and many people in the audience jumped in his help.

It was a great evening, the restaurant and dinner was very convenient the the food was excellent. A short walk over to the church for the opera which was a first for us but we really enjoyed it. The opera was lasted about an hour long and was very entertaining.

This was a wonderful evening! The food was nice but nothing amazing and it was a little rushed for the amount of courses, however we were running late so possibly our own fault! The opera was wonderful, situated in an intimate church with great acoustics and it really was perfect ambiance!
