This was a beautful museum. Went to see the Statue of David but found other types of art here. The musical instrument room was unique and they had a water bowl that you had to rub the handles and it made a tune/sound. Very interesting.

Viator was there with our tickets. Not worth paying 30+ USD as the ticket is only 10-12 Euros. The statue of David is AMAZING, you should definitely go to see it, but if your not going during a busy season there is literally no line.

We would definitely recommend purchasing the "Skip the Line" passes for the Accademia. Just last week there were MANY people waiting in line just to purchase tickets, and the line of people WITH tickets waiting to get in was well over 100+. We found the tour company on the sidewalk, they took the voucher, handed us our tickets, and in we went! We wouldn't do it any other way! B+T, Kansas

The arrival instructions were inaccurate. I had to ask around to find the ticket woman, it said she would be holding a yellow sign, instead she was standing with a clipboard. Makes it a bit hard to find the right place especially given how many tours and groups are meeting in the are. The line for the Accademia was big, glad I didn't have to wait in it. David is beautiful.

Well worth it to skip the line. There was a short line to get tickets from the representative and then about a 10 minute wait to enter the museum. The line to enter without reservations was around the side of the building and not moving.

Highly recommend this method of accessing the _br/_ Accademia. It allows the visitor to view all the _br/_ area at their own pace. Obtaining the tickets _br/_ was fast and easy, after the representative was finally identified among the throng of _br/_ people waiting in the street.

I should've done a tour with the tickets, but the meeting point and time were dead on, we got our tickets easily, and entered the museum with little trouble. Way better than standing in line. See the David. It is unreal! I took another trip with a different company, and it was not half as good as the tours we booked through Viator. I would do all viator tours again.

Seeing David is a must and this is the place. Otherwise, there is not too much to appreciate for the novice. Lines and crowds were grim. Skipping was vital. Cost was acceptable given David. It's worth the time too.

We aren't that into art - so we weren't too thrilled but we still wanted to see it. In fact the only impressive thing there was Michelangelo's David. The rest of the art was not that interesting to us - but I know nothing about art. If you don't either - then you're probably not missing much. And the skip the line thing wasn't that big of a deal. There didn't seem to be much of a ticket buying line when we showed up.

Extremely easy to obtain tickets and there was no problem at all finding the Viator representative. We were able to avoid the long lines to see David and Michelangelo's Prisoners. The guided tour offered at the Accademia was short and we preferred to see this gallery on our own. Would recommend to everyone to avoid the long lines common for this gallery.
