We had a wonderful evening filled with good food, laughter and wine. Although I did not feel that I really learned anything of significance, it was nice to cook in an Italian kitchen and learn some new/Italian terminology. A clove of garlic to me was a "slice" of garlic to our instructor. _br/_ Perhaps what made the evening most enjoyable were the two young women who cooked with us at our station--great team work.

This cooking class was one of my favorite parts of my entire trip to Italy. We made homemade pasta with bolognese sauce, bruschetta and tiramisu. The cooking instructor was amazing and fun, it was very hands one. After we cooked for 2.5 hours, we went to this traditional cellar area and ate the food we cooked with wonderful wine. We met some wonderful people as well. I highly recommend this cooking class!

Amazing! Highly recommended! Was able to absorb new skills in the kitchen but more importantly got to taste the food we learned to cook. It was fantastic!

everything was perfect, just they should not be booking 24 people to attend a class when it should only really fit 14 max

The cooking class was a lot of fun and the instructors were very entertaining. The only thing we would change about this tour is to have everyone meet at the cooking school instead of Piazza Santa Trinita. If we wanted a walking tour, we would have signed up for a walking tour.

It was a wonderful experience! The chef was very professional with a great sense of humor who made me feel relaxed and comfortable. It was a small group so everyone had more than one hands-on assignment. The evening ended with a delicious meal and take home recipes. Would highly recommend it!

What a wonderful way to spend the evening with friends. The location to meet was easy to find, and the walk to the cooking school was very short. The chefs were informative and funny, and our final food was magnifico!

Chef was nice and recipes were great. The teaching experience was a little rushed but the dinner after was nice and relaxing. We were given the recipes, we could definetle re-create the dishes at home.

Fun time, professional, and good food. Run a little fast and didn't feel there was quite as much of a cultural connection/explanation to the food. Good time and good meal overall however. Nice way to meet other travellers as well and learn a little.

My husband and I have been to other cooking classes in both Rome and Florence, and this one just didn't measure up to any other one._br/_ First, it was suppose to be 4 to 5 hours long (with the preparing and the eating). We were out in 2 hours! It was also suppose to have a 'wine pairing' with what we prepared. It had one bottle of red wine per table only- never even discussed._br/_ It was very rushed, and the food was not very good either. In fact, we went home hungry._br/_ Save the $93 each, and go to a good restaurant!

The guide to the cooking class was rude and moved along so fast that certain people were left behind. The actual class was fun and informative. I think they book to many and hurry through some of the steps. Food was good and overall it was a good time, would do again.

Wasn't too sure what to expect from the cooking class. My wife is an F+B specialist whereas I burn water. But I have to say I had great fun. The chef was very patent (with me) and explained the procedures well and clearly. I had great fun and more fun eating the fruits our our labor. We had a fun group and next visit we will do the wine tasting and cheese classes as well. Highly recommended.

I thought this was going to be the highlight of our trip, but I'm going to be very honest in this review. The class was too crowded. 5 people at each station X 5 stations and one class of 5 in the kitchen. The head Chef was arrogant, condescending and over whelmed. He could barely keep up let alone give any individual instruction. The only new thing we learned was to make Gnocchi, all of us knew how to slice and dice, but he was very rude with his orders to do so. Knives were so dull you could hardly cut with them. There was supposed to be a wine paring, we got one bottle of red to share with 5 people at our table which equals less then one glass per person. The redemption of this class was that the Wait Staff/Assistants were very nice and friendly and the girls at our station from Oklahoma where a blast. To sum it up, no more than 4 people per station, and Chef, check your attitude and sharpen your knives!

As a high school teacher I found this an interesting experience. Animated and extrovert teacher, Fabrizio, kept things moving along. Worked in small groups of four or five. The dinner at the end was enjoyable in a pleasant environment. Met some nice people from various countries. Not too hard to reach by foot from central Firenze.

Fantastic night of cooking and food. THANKYOU to all the chefs for making it such an enjoyable experience and showing us some very simple but wonderful recipes that will be easy to transfer to our home kitchens. Thankyou especially to Alisandro. I haven't tried flipping crepes yet but I am confident I can do it after your tips.

We enjoyed learning how to prepare a 4 course Tuscan meal and being able to indulge in the fruits of our labor afterwards. Regrettably, our experience was tainted by a relatively serious burn I incurred from the instructor accidentally splashing boiling hot olive oil on me while I was dicing an onion next to the stove top. This was almost a catastrophic event when I came less than 2" from stabbing my wife in the eye with my knife (upon jerking my arm back getting burnt). There were 4 cooking stations in the kitchen with 6 students at each (along with 2 instructors and several individuals cleaning up). This was far too many people crammed into a relatively small space (coupled with hot stoves and multiple knives in use). I'm convinced this accident would not have occurred if there were fewer students and I was further away from the stove.

4 cooking stations for 24 people is what i call over booked. This was not a cooking class but more of a demonstration and a poor one at that. Then you are limited to one glass of wine with dinner, this is not a deal and I would advise anyone wanting to go on a cooking class to avoid this one! Very disappointed

wonderful! I highly recommend this for an evening in Florence. The food and wine were wonderful and the ambience was just right. I didn't know I was such a good cook! I left with a full tummy and the recipes that I think I can actually make back home. Definitely a 5 star experience!

Interesting class. The meal we made was excellent, however the chefs teaching us were far too intense. They need to lighten up and realize that we are doing the class to have fun and learn something, and that we are not all world-class chefs. Also, the spot where you meet the group is not where they let you out - so bring a map to make sure you can get home!

At first when you walk in its a little shady, a tiny place with too many people but then they start splitting us into groups of about 6 and give us aprons. They explain the dishes you are going to make and begin to cook. The chef is there to guide you the entire way so there is no way to mess anything up. Ingredients were delicious and the wine was great. We absolutely loved it and would strongly recommend it to anyone traveling to Florence.

We had a great class! The groups were small. Each group had their own "kitchen". Each group had a chef who was competent and was obviously enjoying the cooking as much as we were. The menu was comprised of Italian foods we had eaten and were glad to learn how to prepare and not difficult with our excellent help. The preparation time was well planned so that all was ready when we were. We had a great place to eat our meal with our new friends and the wine was a perfect complement. There was enough food for everyone and I hope that the leftovers were used in a good way. too good to waste! We received recipes. Yea!

This was the most expensive thing we did during eight days in Italy but by far the best value for money. Everything was perfectly planned and laid out. Not a second was wasted, which allowed us to do the food prep for four courses. The instuctor was very informative and pleasant. He taught some basic skills without making you feel stupid for not knowing the 'correct' way to do it. I would definitely go again. It helped that we didn't have to wash dishes either.
