This tour was one of the highlights of my three country vacation. This tour was outstanding. It provided really great insight into the importance of this river to Vietnam and the lives who live there. I was a little apprehensive as I get motion sickeness easily, but a little dramamine and those wrist bands worked. No problem. The tour guide, drivers (car and boat) were all excellent.

Efficient service, especially as they had such a long wait for us to get through the very slow visa process.

Don't skip the small row boats! The local music was not worth my time. The hotel had better artists. The "stops" are just for tourists and you'll only see westerners for lunch and at the "factories". You can buy stuff if you wish, but you'll find it cheaper at the markets in the cities. Buyer be ware.

We took the one day tour up the Mekong because we had limited time. Had a great day. The sights were terrific and the lunch more than adequate. Highly recommended.

My family thoroughly enjoyed the private tour of the Mekong River Cruise. The tour guide was extremely friendly and imformative throughout the whole of the experience and also spoke very good english. The journey from Ho Chi Minh City was fairly long but the car was cool and comfortable which made it easier. On arrival at the Mekong Delta we were guided to our personal boat and were shown the floating market and houses along the river, it was humbling to see how the families lived there. we were given fresh local fruits to eat and coconut milk to drink during te boat ride. We were then taken to an island to meet some locals and see coconut candy, popping rice and other stuff being made the locals were very friendly and didnt mind us taking photographs of the experience we also got to try the different types of candy and drank jasmin tea. The boat then took us to a smaller paddle boat and we were taken down a quieter part of river and on to a local place to eat where we had a feast of 6 courses including delicious elephant ear fish. After lunch our tour guide took us for a walk in the orchard where we were shown all of the wonderful fruits growing. Finally we were taken back to our boat and on to dry land to head back to Ho Chi Minh City. So far this has been the highlight of our trip and we would definately reccomend.

Overpriced. Timing for the floating market was too late. The fish lunch not nearly as good as on prior trips. No sampan ride. No embroidery workshop even though the guide promised one and said not to buy shirts at an earlier stop. We ended up returning to the US without them.

Great day on the Mekong River with interesting stops to watch the manufacturing of rice popcorn, rice paper and coconut lollies; to listen to traditional Vietnamese music; and to have a fantastic lunch!

We had a fantastic day. Our tour guide was just wonderful. His English was great, and he just talked and talked about everything. I would highly recommend this tour. Saigon is not the prettiest city, but getting out of the hustle and bustle is the only way to really enjoy it. The elephant ear fish lunch was so delicious.

Very poor trip. Photo displayed for this trip looks like a nice floating market, like Thailand floating market, however the reality is different to the photo advertised and therefore misleading. The market we were taken to looked like an industrial one. Very disappointed.

We enjoyed this trip to the Mekong Delta, however we didn't realize that it was a three hour long journey each way by van to the Mekong Delta area, which made it a very long day. It was great to see the floating markets and the Vietnamese way of life on the river. The Elephant Ear fish for lunch was interesting!

Our tour guide was the best ever. She pointed things out all the way to our destination and was able to answer all our questions. One problem, having to confirm the booking by phone once we got to Vietnam was a huge problem. The email confirmation should suffice.

The trip was interesting and insightful. However, the boat can move faster as it was a bit warm. The boat trip felt a bit draggy. The food was below average. However, the serving staff was friendly.
