An excellent introduction to Hong Kong, although we took the tour on our last day due to the Peak tram being out of service before this date. Loved the stop at Aberdeen and the sampan ride, at least we got to see the floating restaurant and a hint of what it's like living on the water. Stanley area was very scenic and the markets were great, very different from Temple Street and the Ladies Market and had different items on offer. Less time could have been spent at the jewellery factory. Overall a well run and enjoyable tour.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have been on this tour, and almost consider it a 'must do' for first time visitors to Hong Kong. The Tour Guide Stephen was friendly and informative and everyone had a great time. The views from the peak are picture postcard material and Stanley Market and Aberdeen Harbor are a flashback to older times.

Hong Kong was covered in sea fog and clouds on our tour day. But that did not dampen our guide - who enthusiastically showed us so much we ended up forgetting the clouds and thought we saw it perfectly!

This tour was ok as a quick introduction to Hong Kong. I did not enjoy the visit to the jewellery factory and our visit to the Peak was a bit of a let down because the tram was not operating and the weather was bad so we could not see the view at all.

this is actually a good trip but we were not collected from our hotel.._br/_ I had to have a lengthy discussion re this with the tour operator who's response was can you do it an other day._br/_ after making a compliant we were taxied to join the group but it was spoilt to some extent

This was an excellent tour and covered a lot of ground but there is just too much to cover in half a day without being rushed. I would have liked to spend a bit more time at the Stanley Market but there was just not enough time. I think this tour would be better if it was refashioned into a full day tour. The tour guide was excellent.

If you do not have much time this is a great way to get the feel of Hong Kong in a few hours and if you are there for longer you will be able to choose the places you would like to see again. Unfortunately there is a stop at a jewellery store which personally I thought the time could have been better spent elsewhere.

Good and varied sites, enjoyed Stanley Market, although could have done with more than the 1 hour allocated. The Sanpan ride passing the Jumbo Restaurant was good. Victoria Peak was disappointing but this was due to the misty weather, couldn't see a thing!!!

This was the 2nd time I took this tour returning with my wife. Very average tour. Unexciting tour guide, usual stops for shopping (unwelcome) Overall, too much shopping. I think a private, custom tailored tour will be better for next time.

Good introduction to HKG, enjoyed the visit to Aberdeen Harbour and the optional sanpan trip, also enjoyed the tram ride. Did not enjoy the jewellers, not my style to be herded into a place and given the 'hard sell' . Also, the Stanley Market was just another market anywhere. The tour guide was very good but we could have done without the photographer

For the price, this was a comprehensive tour. The coach was full so it was a bit of a pain getting on and off as we had to wait for everyone. Guide was difficult to understand at times due to accent but overall the commentary was ok. We were not picked up from our hotel as told, we had to make our own way to the Excelsior hotel and return from there.

Enjoyed the tour , would have liked a little more time at the peak to look around, but all in all a great way to spend the morning on Hong Kong Island. Was a little annoyed that the driver did not drop us off at the allocated hotel.Could have been a misunderstanding with the tour guide,but was told that there was too much traffic to drop us off where we had met the tour. I felt the tour guide should have made sure that visitors should have got off where they should have.

I took the HK Island tour for a layover that i had at Hk airport for around 8 hrs. Stanley market and the Peak are the only places i liked, but they allowed us only an hour each at these spots. The Jewelry factory was totally unnessesary and a complete waste of time! Also @ the Peak they only take you to the "free" viewing zone. The SkyTerrace (which has the best view from the Peak) is at your own expense. Also we were not taken to Madame Tussads which is located at the Peak Tower - i guess there's only so much you can do in an hour! Only if they didnt do the jewelry factory and allowed an extra hour at the Peak Tower it'd be nicer. Overall if you have no plan for the day and want an intro to the city and of course never been to HK, this is just an average trip. So dont expect too much,

We did not appreciate the waste of time at the jewelry showroom. Too much time was spent there and we were not impressed by the quality of jewelry. This should have been an optional tour.Better use of our time would have been appreciated._br/_ Honestly as a result of these two experiences, I would be hard pressed to recommend your agency._br/_ Also we resented the fact that we had an additional charge for the boat ride. It should have been included or mention made that there would be an extra fee.

Great tour for a great price. Tour guide was very funny and informative. Well organised and enjoyable insight to the Hong Kong island side of the Island. The visit to the jewellery store was perhaps the only downside as it was purely for commercialism and lacked any contribution to learning about culture or the Island.

I think this tour was well worth doing as we were a bit overwhelmed being in a fairly non english speaking country so it was great to get us on track. As many have said the Jewellery shop was a pretty obvious bid to make sales but its only a short stop so not too bad. Everything else was a perfect taste of Hong Kong.

Our guide Biddy was fantastic and provided heaps of information. You see alot of the island of Hong Kong and the tour gives you a taste of places you may want to revisit in your own time ie Stanley Markets and the Peak. Views were spectacular

Should you just be popping into Hong Kong for a few days it is a really great way to see some of the sights in an organized fun way or else you could end up not seeing them at all.
