Be amazed - these dolphins, found between Hong Kong and Macau, are pinker than the Boto dolphins in the Amazon River in South America and live within a few kilometers of one of the world's busiest shipping centers and most densely populated urban area.

The Pearl River Delta, between Hong Kong and Macau, is home to around a thousand Indo-pacific Humpback dolphins, Sousa chinensis. For some unknown reason, populations of this species along the Chinese coast are bright pink. They are the world's pinkest dolphins - pinker even than the Boto dolphins in the Amazon River in South America- and they live near Hong Kong, within a few kilometers of the world's busiest shipping center and most densely populated urban area.

Chosen as the official mascot of the 1997 handover ceremony, the dolphins are threatened by pollution, over fishing and reclamation. This trip is designed to minimize disturbance to the dolphins, therefore these lovely creatures are comfortable with the vessel being used and sometimes come quite close.

96% of trips have successful sightings. If no dolphins are seen, passengers are entitled to take another dolphin cruise at no extra cost - subject to availability.

Great half day tour...Travel by coach to Lantau Island and leave by boat...2x Guides..1 was HK Local and another was Americian...both very informative and passionate about Dolphin Habitatit and well being and development threating Dolphins..Dolphins weren't that playful on this day, however did see 3 to 5 different dolphins at times...Souviners for sale on board on return at rather OK prices...Highly Recommend! Guide even walked walked us back to our Hotel, due to Coach not dropping off here and this being on her way! Once again, great morning and highly Recommend! Take your camera, but be patient in getting photos...

Fantastic - we were very blessed to see 10 or more dolphins - adults, mum with baby, youngsters etc etc. Staff looked after us really well and had amazing skills in spotting the dolphins. Great information given, boat was great, drinks and biscuits a plenty. Souvenirs were available and very reasonably priced. Kids rated this trip as a main highlight of their holiday. Don't miss this unique opportunity to see these amazing creatures, there are so few of them left.

This was an awesome tour and I would encourage and recommend it to anyone. These Dolphins are only found in Hong Kong and are endangered. We were fortunate to have a good siting which included a mum and relatively new baby. My daughter is now on a mission to try and bring awareness of their plight by raising awareness of them. We had never heard of them until we were looking to see what was available to do in Hong Kong. A must do experience. The more people that are aware increases their chance of survival. The guide and crew are very knowledgeable and passionate about these beautiful animals. A MUST DO TRIP!!!!!

97% success rate on spotting pink dolphins. We were in the unlucky 3%. The staff did, however, try very hard to find the dolphins. The research boats did not find them that day either. We were given a voucher allowing us a free trip. We were going home the next day but it is valid for 1 year and can be passed on to friends or family so you cannot complain. Warm sunny day and so quite a pleasant trip nonetheless. We were told about the plight of the dolphins and the effect of land reclamation etc. If we had seen the dolphins this would have been an excellent trip as the water was clear and calm. Can't win them all!

Wonderful! Nice to see real live dolphins in the wild. An eye opener for the family and I. Recommended! Luck wasn't on our side that morning. Took us a long time to get the 1st sighting of the pink dolphins. The closer we got to them, the further they swam away from us. saw the dolphins even though they were a bit elusive and hard to photograph. well run boat and not too many people booked on the trip so plenty of room, free refreshements and clean toilet. Very knowledgeable fugide. Only negative was pick up point in Kowloon Hotel was crowded and hot.

Very interesting trip seeing the pink dolphins which are rare and endangered. Trip leader very knowledgeable and we saw two families with babies. 12 in all out of population of 100. Would recommend highly and have told others that it is a trip not to be missed.

Too cold, and hard to see dolphins. If the weather is bad, make sure you dress warmly. I was seasick a little in the middle, considering boat was going back and forth too much. Saw one or two dolphins from way far away, couldn't make out. Some people enjoyed the trip, but it was just okay for me. Wouldn't do it again.

We had a fantastic time. I think we were very lucky: we saw dolphins pretty much continuously for an hour, and some came right up to the boat. It was a really amazing experience and well worth doing. The staff was very knowledgeable and relaxed as well.

Please support this very good family business who give great value for money and are also trying to conserve and protect these wonderful creatures whose habitat is being rapidly eroded by construction projects and pollution from Chinese factories emptying their toxic waste into the Pearl River, which flows into this area. Consequently, the dolphins are literally being poisoned and will probably be extinct in ten years!

We were extremely lucky on our trip. We had great sightings of the dolphins, some of which were right next to the boat. Our children were delighted and rated this trip as one of their best experiences whilst in Hong Kong.
