4-Day Istanbul City Stay Package

If this is your first time to Istanbul and you want to see all the highlights of this amazing city at a leisurely pace, this is the tour for you. This four-day stay will take you to the palaces of Topkapi and dolmabahce, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and there's even time for shopping in the Grand Bazaar to pickup a souvenir or two.

Day 1:
Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel, day at leisure.

Day 2 (B, L):
Sightseeing Tour of Topkapi Palace, Saint Sophia, Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar.

Day 3 (B):
Enjoy a half-day tour of Dolmabahce Palace or a cruise on the Bosphorous depending on weather conditions. Explore the city during a free afternoon. In the evening you can choose to attend an optional dinner including Turkish belly and folk dancing.

Day 4 (B):
After breakfast transfer to Istanbul Airport or Port.

In last few years, I had used Viator services, traveling to many countries and experienced satisfaction in general. However, during our recent trip to Turkey, the Istanbul tour package arranged by Viator were disgustingly disappointing and miserable. Transfers to and from the airport to hotel were a pain as no one showed up at the airport on our arrival and after hours of strenuous effort in contacting, finally someone showed up. On the day of departure the transportation to the airport arrived hours early, making us leaving the hotel early and long waiting at the airport. _br /_ The pick-up times for the day trips were confusing and never on time with incomplete itinerary. The hotel was one of the worst, where people were unprofessional and rude. Inoperable bathroom fixtures ended up with not being able to taking shower on the first day after long air-travel. Small refrigerator in the room was dead and room safe was inoperable during our entire stay. This was the first time ever we noticed most toiletries, etc., were absent and the room service was grossly poor. Now we regret having taken this tour package. We are now seriously thinking of exploring other alternative services towards our future travels.
