When we finally arrived after having to purchase our Visa, there were many greeters and we could not find ours. We did not know for sure what the company was, so someone finally helped us out._br/_ We then had to wait for many other people which we found strange as it was to be private even though I tried to tell the greeter what hotel we were going to. When we finally got to the hotel for all the other people it was assumed we were getting off as well. Luckily for cell phones it was settled that we would be taken to our hotel. We had to double back somewhat which ended up being several hours on the bus after an overnight flight. We were not too happy about that.

This was a useful service. The arrival lounge at Istanbul airport was a zoo, it was nice to have someone there who knew your name. A bit of a glitch in that Viator uses another service with a different name and it is initially confusing as to whether it was the right person or not.

Despite having a private car transfer the local operator made us wait in the Arrivals Hall untill all passengers he was meeting had come through Customs (Some 20 minutes) They were in a Shuttle transfer so we saw no need to keep us waiting as our car was outside waiting. More local staff needed at the airport to ensure a more efficient operation. However, our driver was polite and helpful and found our Hotel without trouble.

Excellent service was provided upon our arrival at the Istanbul, Turkey, international airport. A Viator representative--holding a sign with our name that was easy to read-- was waiting for us as we exited customs. We then had two representatives, both of whom spoke English, help us take our luggage outside to await the van and driver that took us to our hotel in Istanbul. Thank you, Viator! I made a mistake and responded before to an Arrival review instead of a Departure review. So, this is my Departure review. It, too was excellent! My only problem was that Neon Tours instructed me to confirm my pick-up time 24 hours in advance. I telephoned, but only reached a recording in Turkish, so I could not confirm. I worried through my trip that my_br/_ pick-up would not be on time. However, he was right on time. Excellent!

More expensive than a taxi, but after a long day (and night) of flying, it was worth it. Were met right in the arrivals hall and the driver went into the hotel with us to make sure he had dropped us at the right place.
