We met the bus at Taksim Square with not too much difficulty finding the booth--we did have to ask a few people._br/_ The bus was fine but the headphone commentary was fuzzy at times which made it difficult to hear. The destinations were varied and the people somewhat helpful. I have been on this type of sightseeing in other major cities such as Paris and it compares.

It was ok. Had headsets with about 10 different languages to select from. If you don't want to walk and experience the city, this is probably the way to go. I prefered to walk.

It would be helpful to post a Viator sign somewhere at the station for registration. We were unsure where to go to until we asked the bus driver.

It was pouring with rain when we arrived,the traffiic was virtually at a standstill in Istanbul, waited for nearly an hour at a stop getting wet thru' but no bus appeared, so we gave up and walked to the Grand Bazzar to escape the weather, on the way back to the ship some 2 hrs later, we still did not see a sign of a Hop On Hop Off bus, they had all Hopped Away._br/_ Better to wait until you get to Istanbul and pay the driver, it is a little more expensive, but at least you will not be dissappointed

As far as tours go, this one is very good, with the added bonus of pickup and drop off only a short walk from the cruise ship terminal. Tour stopped at all major attrcations as advertised, and English language commentaty was excellent.

Yes I know Istanbul is a very busy city but there must be more hop-on hop-off points especially at cruise terminal, before I could recommend. Stops need to be better signposted.

Hop on Hop off goes to many places where tours do not show its passengers. However, the brochure on the internet indicated that the Hop On bus included the bridge across the bridge into asia in Istanbul which many would appreciate seeing. When given the tour stop on the bus, crossing the bridge was not an option.

I followed instructions and went to the pick up stop at 9:30 a.m.. I found out that the bus does not arrive at Taksim square until 10:35, wasting one hour of waiting time, then I had to take the entire tour to exchange my voucher at the last stop. We cannot get off the bus until the voucher was exchanged. The last bus was at 4:30, we basically only went to one site and that was the end of the day. I could have done this for 1.75 Turkish Lira or $1.20 in U.S. $, the tour was $27.00. It was a waste of money and waste of a day.

Hard to hear over the headset. Tried two and different stations and all had static. Buss pretty much drove stright by so hard to even see what was talked about. Glad I had been to Istanbul before as this would have been very dissapointing if first time. I would not recommend this tour.

Waste of money. Buses were packed, didn't come regularly, staff were rude, round trip is over 2 hours. I think there are other ways to see Istanbul more effectively.

The tour gave a great overview of the city, but it was difficult to determine what sights could be seen at the 5 or 6 places you were allowed to hop off. For example, we wanted to go to the Kariye Muzesi (Chora Church). I had to research online to determine which hop-off place to use. Other than that, the tour gives a good, basic overview of the city.

It was a great experience. Being taken on the first day, it gave us a complete idea of Istanbul. However, we took some time to locate the boarding stop as directions were not clear from service provider. Definitely worth!

I really enjoyed the tour and all the sites that I saw on both the Eurpoean and Asian side of Turkey. The tour guide in different languages it an exceptional trip and highlighted the main points. The Hop On - Hop Off was the best part because I was able to see a lot in the city and get back on for the rest of the tour and not missed any thing.

We were on a cruise and one of the "Hop on Points" was near the dock gates and even had a young Rep at the stop the morning we used the bus .There was no trouble using the voucher.
