This excursion follows the famous Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Icefield.

Visit the beautiful Athabasca Falls, learn about the Athabasca Glacier and watch for the wildlife of the Canadian Rockies. While at the Athabasca Falls, the most powerful falls of the National Parks, you can stroll the walkways and explore the interpretive panels displayed along the route.

Traveling from the falls along the spectacular mountain roadway of the Icefields Parkway you reach the Columbia Icefield.

The Columbia Icefield is the Parkway's crown jewel where you experience a ride on an all-terrain Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca glacier. Learn about the natural processes that created this natural splendor and stand on ancient ice while sipping the fresh waters of its rivers.

Time is also provided to visit the gift shops or museum before your return back to Jasper.

What to Bring

• Warm clothes, including hats, gloves and warm shoes (It can get very cold on the Athabasca Glacier)
• Rubber soled shoes are recommended (for walking on the glacier)
• Don't forget your camera!
