In the morning you'll go game viewing in the immense Pilanesberg Nature Reserve. With over 7,000 animals in the park, your search for Africa's "Big Five" - elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards and African buffalo - is sure to be eventful. Pilanesberg Nature Reserve has over 124 miles (200 kilometers) of good-quality roads, making it one of the best game reserves in South Africa. Anything is possible on an African safari, so keep your eyes and ears open!

In the afternoon you'll travel to the world's most unique resort, Sun City, deep in the rugged bushveld in the heart of an ancient volcano. You have the opportunity to spend the afternoon at Sun City, "the Kingdom of Pleasure", at your leisure. With so many options to choose from, there's plenty to occupy your free time. Attractions include a golf course, Butterfly World, Cultural Village, wave and swimming pools (own account), Lost City, and numerous bars and restaurants. This was a fantastic trip boht the guide and driver were very friendly and very knowledgeable. It was well worth the money and with south africa being a third world country - I would recommend a tour than driving it yourself, we had a police stop and I would not have known what to do

the safari was great...though prob would have been better if we had arrived earlier, started off at 7am so was almost 10am by time we got there. Sun city was a waste though so we cut it short and asked our guide to take us to the Lion park we had passed on the way so got to pet the lion cubs.

Pilanesberg was very good. If you've done safaris in Tanzania and Kenya you may be a little disappointed, but if you have never seen animals like this close-up, it is superb. Sun City is good if a bit odd. The Las Vegas of Africa, and all that implies. Definitely worth doing.

A big 13 hour day, half at Sun City and half at Pilansberg Reserve, so from animals to casinos, we were kept interested.
