This was the first time I had done a private tour. Sofian was amazing, he was funny, attentive, kind, considerate, caring, protective and very knowledgeable. If you can request him especially. He made us feel safe and took us to all the best sights of KL and surrounds, took extra time to tailor the day to our requests and knew all the right people for the best discounts etc; The only negative aspect is that you don't get enough time at the KL museum, however it is easy to go back on a different day to spend more time if you want to (entry RM5). Batu caves was definitely an experience, stairs are very steep, take your time - it is very hot and even more humid. Watch out for the monkeys.

I had an amazing tour which started at 8:30am and ended at just after 5pm. My Malay/Indian guide was so forthcoming with facts on points of interest and I really felt like I was being looked after. My tour was Christmas Day and I went to a Hindu Temple, Chinese Temple, Mosque and Church...a good rounding out of some different faiths for an important day in the Christian Calendar. A fantastic day from beginning to end for sure.

We had a single driver who thought it was a half day tour - he took us straight to the Batu caves and was more interetsed in dropping us off after lunch . We made him wait until we visitied a Isslamic arts museum then were happy to be dropped off early

We were a little disappointed in this tour. Our guide was very nice but we felt he was a little too forthcoming with his political opinions. He also did not offer much guidance on places to go and left it up to us to decide. The day also finished much earlier than we expected. However it was still an interesting day.

Overall tour was good but he didn't take us inside the twin towers so we decided to go on our own the next day only to find that all tickets to the towers were gone mostly by the tour guides who book the tickets first and he also dropped us to our hotel early at 4pm.

A good way to see the city if you aren't there for very long - really disappointed we didn't get to see the Twin Towers as well - that would have made it something special. Our guide was friendly and helpful.

Great tour, saw lots of KL that the average visitor would not see. Tour Guide was very informative and knowledgeable. He managed to keep our private tour ahead of all the "tour buses" which made our visits more enjoyable. His local knowlege was very good, and advised about getting to KL twin tours very very early, to beat the tour buses. Lunch was delicious, with buffet of all Malaysian dishes. Batu Caves were good. Recommend this PRIVATE tour, as it is worth the additional cost to do the tour at YOUR pace and not at the tour drivers time limits.

This was the first (of many I've taken now!) Viator tour that I wasn't satisfied with, but this is likely because the "real" tour guide wasn't available so they had to quickly scramble to find a substitute. It was just me and the guide, and I was taken to places and left there to explore on my own. For the price I paid for a single person personalized "guided" tour, I was extremely disappointed. A hop-on hop-off would have done the exact same job for a fraction of the cost.

You MUST do this tour...it was amazing. Robbie our driver was fantastic! And then the palces he took us to in our own private car with just the four of us was very comfortable. He was ever so knowlegable and knew ALL there was to know. Must do in KL worth EVERY dollar on cost.

Weonly had 12 hrs in KL so private tour seemed to be our best option to take in as much as possible. We were picked up promptly and our guide was very friendly and knowledgable. He spoke English well. He found places to park and he walked with us through China Town and through an Indian and Chinese Temple..We had a delicious buffet lunch and then drove out to Batu Caves- I feel we got value for money.

It was very enjoyable, our guide was very good. Although when we got to Kuala Lumpur and phoned viator to confirm our booking, they had nothing on there records, so it involved expensive phone calls, faxes which all cost money and the time wasted going to reception and trying to sort it out. So that was something we were not happy about.

We had two fantastic tours. The first day we did the full day tour of KL and the highlight was tour guide. "Sofian" was the best guide we have ever had as he told not just about the tour but the culture, political system, history of Malyasia and life in Malaysia. My wife had a knee injury at the time at "Sofian" went out of his way to assist Ann. At the end of the first tour we asked the agency for "Sofian" to take us on the Elephant tour two days later which they obliged and he did. "Sofian" at the Elephant Sanctuary and Deer Farm has took us personally to the animals and basically put to the top of the que as he knew the timing of the next event. This tour was definitely a good way to spend a day getting to know Kuala Lumpur. Our guide was the best. He was courteous, knowledgeable and more then willing to go out of his way to accommodate our needs. He even climbed the 272 steps to the Batu Caves with us without laughing as I huffed and puffed my way to the top. All of the stops were worth while and the amount of time allocated to each stop was generous.

This was a great day! We would highly recommend this tour & it was well worth the money spent! Our tour guide was in the lobby of our hotel at the nominated time to greet our family of 6. We walked out & expected to see a mini van for our group, but waiting, much to our surprise, was a full sized air conditioned coach just for us. Our tour guide was excellent, he was very well informed & took us personally to all the sights detailed in the tour information. At each stop, he knew what he was talking about, he was very friendly & informative. As K.L. is hot & humid, it was nice to be in a spacious & air conditioned coach between stops. Our first taste of Malaysian food was at the restaurant included in this tour, it was delicious with a lot of variety for all tastes. We would not have seen all we did by ourselves. We would highly recommend booking this tour to see all the highlights of K.L. - you will enjoy this day.
