Take a cable car ride to the top of Mount Mat Chinchang for breathtaking views of Langkawi and visit the Oriental Village which is a shopping zone built around a beautiful lake against the scenic mountain backdrop.

Upon arrival at the Oriental Village, ascend Mount Mat Chinchang Hill by cable car for a bird's eye view of Langkawi. The cable car has the longest suspension in the world between two stations. It was built without constructing any roads through the jungle.

At highest tower (72 meters), enjoy the cool air and the view of the highlands before proceeding down to the Oriental Village. At the village, take time to shop at various outlets and enjoy your choice of cuisine for lunch, (at own expense) before returning to your hotel.

Fantastic driver for hotel pick up / drop off, excellent knowledge and stories (Joe we loved you - they should pay you more). The cable car ride was great, fantastic to see a different aspect of the island. The oriental village was fantastic and a good place for easy shopping and fish pedicure at Anjung Spa (RM18). This is a must do activity while staying in Langkawi.

Good Tour but it was extremely busy and the wait was very long to even get onto the cable car. There is an express Lane and with the limited time we had, it would have been nice to have the option of upgrading to "Express".

We were expecting something better. The tour guide was actuall a local driver with a very little abiltiy to talk English. In fact there was no tour guide because the drive left us alone from the parking. He was not even wearing safety belt during driving and when asked, he said not needed?? (strange traffic rules in Langkawi).Due to bad weather nothing was visible at the top. Infact we spent more time in the transitiional stop because nobody told us that there was one more upward drive ffor cable car. The driver asked us to come within 1 hour and we finished whole tour in just two hours. In our way back to hotel, he stopped us at wrong KFC which was too far from our hotel (Wstin).We asked him to stop the one at jetty point. It was a total disappointing tour by all means in Langkawi which have lots of fun and attractions otherwise

Don't miss this - it's easy to catch a taxi and buy your own ticket. _br/_ We were surprised that it simply wasn't open for several days for maintenance, when we wanted to go back again.

I was the only one on this trip and the driver was so brilliant, even asked if I wanted to visit other parts of the island. The Cable car ride was very good - once you get to the top make sure you take the track through the rainforest to get to the "skybridge" for even more beautiful views.

Spectacular views, wonderful ride, but long wait in queue to board cable car. It's a must do activity in Langkawi. Oriental village very touristy. Shopping not as good as at other places in Langkawi.

Viator side of things were absolutely great! However, we had 3 different people from the actual tour company confirming that our pickup time. All saying different times. Once picked up at 10am, our "guide" literally said nothing the whole entire drive. Only when prompted would he respond, generally with 1 or 2 words. When we finally got to the Cable Car Oriental Village, he just pointed to where we should be going. I asked him for more information and he just gave us the two coupons basically. I would suggest that such a professional outfit such as Viator change local tour provider. Just some feedback that I know you would appreciated. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you need anything else.

We had a great time. The cable car was a bit scary as there is only one support between the top and bottom - so it rises and falls as the cars go over the supports. At the top there are a bunch of lookouts and a real freaky bridge across a gully - cool. I'd recommend this to anyone visiting Langkawi.

The oriental village is a manufactured "village" with a main purpose to trap tourists with expensive and repetitive knick-knacks and souvenirs. The cable car is not guaranteed to go up the mountain - sometimes the wind is too strong. So be prepared to sit around and wait to see if it will go or not.

Absolutely breathtaking once you are on the cable car. That is definitely the highlight of this tour. It was great!
