Absolutely awful experience. My friend who had booked along with me and was trying to match up our bookings received an email while we were all the airport being told that they could not accomodate us. There was little concern or apology for this. We were offered alternative dates but this was pointless as our date was very specific. An alternative tour was offered which we did take up in the end. I personally never received an email from Viator or the tour company to confirm the situation one way or the other and it was a very stressful experience.

The actually quad biking element of this lasted around 1.5 hours, which we did not think was enough for the money, especially when the instructor said it would be around 4 hours. However, the tour of the mine was good, and once on the bikes we had an amazing time, the scenery was beautiful. _br/_ Your pick up and drop off in included within the tour time which was a little disappointing.

What a fun trip! I was traveling alone, and a group of younger adults was on this excursion. They all wanted to race around on the ATVs, so the guides split up and one of them took me on my own guided ATV tour of the area. I got to see about a dozen bighorn sheep that the others did not see. The gold mine was very interesting. My only complaint is that the sandwich was rather dry.

If you are going to Vegas, take the time and go on this trip, it will be the highlight of your vacation. The trails are great, with beautiful scenery, and ties in well with the gold mine tour as you will discover other entries to the mine. Great for any level of rider.

Very nice trip. It was good to get away from the chaos of the strip for a couple of hours. Four wheeling was fun and covered a lot of ground. The tour of the mine gave great insight as to how much effort it took to extract gold from the hills. Thank You.

Couldn't recommend this enough. It was the highlight of our 3 week West Coast and Vegas trip. Justin and Crystal were our guides for the day and it was slick, well organise, interesting, and fun. Get on the front row if you don't like the taste of dust though ;)

The variety of levels of ability on this tour is not taken into account enough. You are constantly stopping to wait for really slow people to catch up... Only in the last 15 minutes of our 2 hr ride did we separate to allow the more confident riders to open up the throttle a bit..._br/_ Our guide, Justin, was an awesome guy but he openly admitted to knowing very little about the Gold Mine itself. He told us some guides take 45 minutes on their tours round the mine...we were in and out in under 15.

First time on ATV and you pick it up quickly - and if you don't the guide is helpful enough to let you ride or do some of the harder parts for you! Any experience would enjoy it!

The mine tour was informative and interesting. The quad trip was disappointing. It was basically riding around in circles and back and forth in a small canyon. The lunch was cold lettuce wraps with some chicken and oriental noodles in a tortilla shell, small bag of chips, and small bag of cookies. It was nice to get out of the City for a few hours but not really worth the money.

What a great trip! Worth every penny. We will be doing this again when we go to Vegas. I've never been on an atv before. They took it nice and easy at first but by the end it was super fast and fun! We went on evening trip and the BBQ was so yummy. If you like history you'll love the mine tour. You won't regret picking this trip.

Fun trip. Have never ridden an ATV before but with the excellent guide we had Dusty who was very thorough in his instructions, it was really enjoyable and would recommend to anyone. If you can do the afternoon ATV then you will be lucky enough to get Dusty who was awesome and while eating our meal which was great he entertained us with his fire tricks. Will do it again next time we are in Las Vegas

Lots of fun. You don't have to be a pro to ride these things. it was a very technical ride with stops at key points. The mines were nice and cool inside. Just use common sense. Lunch was very good.

The Driver who picked us up was very nice and also shared some knowledge of the area on our drive to the site. The Tour Guide that took us through the Gold Mine and on the ride was very nice as well. This was amazing, though not for the faint hearted! If you enjoy going up steep inclines, round sharp bends and down steep declines you will love it! Scenery was breathtaking and the guides were the most down to earth people you could meet. Fantastic desert meal - well worth doing if you fancy doing something a little different. Lots of information about the history of the area given and brief trip into the gold mine was facinating.

The El Dorado Canyon and Gold Mine Trip was awesome! I was in Las Vegas for my stag do and was looking for something off the beaten track, and this certainly fulfilled expectations! The vehicles are easy to use, despite extended safety and advisor instructions, and the opportunity to drive through the desert high and low, on comfortable and not so comfortable paths, is great. The tour guide was excellent too - we wanted to spend more time driving around so we decided to cut down on the gold mine trip, although this part of the trip was interesting too. All in all, I couldn't recommend this experience highly enough!

We had a great time!!! We were fortunate enough to have the trip be just my husband and I. The weather was beautiful with the sunny skies and 50 degrees. The views were spectacular and love ride was AWESOME! This was only my second time driving an ATV and I did just find keeping up with my husband and our guide, Rich. Would definitely recommend this trip to everyone. The gold mine was really cool too!

We signed up for the picnic lunch tour on the atv and it was suppose to include a lunch, but no one in our group got a lunch. Also it said you were suppose to go on a walking tour of the mine and visit three mine shafts that were possibly haunted. All we got to do is look down at a hole in the ground between rocks. We were disappointed because it wasn't what it claimed to be and all we really did is ride the atv and nothing else.

This trip was awesome! A little scary to operate the ATV through the hills and peaks - but it was quite empowering to do it and exciting. The tours were informative and fun. The set-up was great - you got to experience being in the middle of nowhere, with the amenities that we all like to have - toilets, running water, etc. I would def do it again!

This was a fantastic trip. The tour guide was very nice and very knowledgeable; she gave us a great tour of the gold mine and knew her stuff. When it came to the quad biking, she explained all the controls really well, but I couldn't manage to steer it!!! It ended up really well though because I got the best of both worlds, I got on the back of her quad and saw some AMAZING views and scenery as well as getting a running commentary of the area. It was great not having to drive too!!! Excellent tour, really interesting and great fun too.

For this adventure you need a rating higher than 'Absolutely Fantastic'! This was the highlight of our trip. We wish we would have done this every day! Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared his knowledge with us freely. We both felt like we could easily have just stayed on-site with this group rather than in Las Vegas itself.
