Grand Canyon Helicopter and Ranch Adventure

Las Vegas, United States of America

Visit the exclusive Grand Canyon Ranch on a helicopter tour from Las Vegas for a taste of the old Wild West! You'll fly below the rim of the Grand Canyon before flying to the historic Grand Canyon Ranch where you will be transported by horse-drawn wagon for your western meal, entertainment and ranching activities.

Please note: The listed price does not include a US $50 per person fuel surcharge, payable at the time of tour check-in. The fuel surcharge is required by our local supplier and is not within our control

Enjoy a Jetcopter flight below the rim of The Grand Canyon and landing at an exclusive 165 square mile Grand Canyon Ranch. Conveniently departing from McCarran Airport, only minutes from the Las Vegas Strip!

Your helicopter will explore the grandeur of the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Onboard a "Pegasus" luxury jet helicopter, you will fly 1,500 feet below the rim, soaring past towering, stone buttresses and columns bathed in an ever-changing kaleidoscope of colors. As you descend, you'll pass through millions of years of geological time. The colorful canyon walls have preserved a remarkable record of the Paleozoic Era, dating back from 250 to 550 million years and beyond. The sheer size and majesty of the Grand Canyon, along with its brilliant palette of colors and rugged beauty will remain stamped in your memory for a lifetime.

Shortly after your magnificent helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon, you will land at the Historic Grand Canyon Ranch, where real outlaws from the Old West once hid out. Upon arriving at the ranch house in a horse drawn wagon, a western style meal awaits as you, are greeted by real cowboy entertainers, who will share their legends and songs. Choose from an optional guided Horseback or Horse-drawn Wagon Ride and Buffalo Safari. You can also learn about the history of the western cowboy, or simply enjoy old-fashioned hospitality at the "Diamond Bar".

Your flight to and from the Ranch also includes spectacular views of Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and an exciting "cruise" down the world famous Las Vegas Strip. The Grand Canyon Helicopter & Grand Canyon Ranch Resort Adventure promises to be the highlight of your visit to the Western USA.

What an experience. Views from the helicopter were amazing. The pilot was great, extremely knowledgeable and very chatty, kept us entertained the whole flight. The cowboys at the ranch were friendly, the horse ride was good fun and the food was very filling. All round excellent adventure. If you're going to Vegas this trip is a must.

It was the most spetacular thing I have ever done in my life. I Am a 52 year old female. I own and train horses. The ranch experience was top of the line and loads of fun. The helicopter ride and our pilot were outstanding.

The Management of this company was excellent, I had a problem and decided to cancel this trip last minute. Even though no refund would have been given and they would have been able to keep the money. The manager decided to let me take the trip so I could have the experience. Which was wonderful. Thank you guys!!!

The only thing that I was disappointed about was the sun glare in the morning. It was my understanding that because the glare was so bad when we first went thru the Canyon, that we would have another chance for pictures on our return trip. So I did not even try to take picks. Then when we did not even go near the Canyon on the return trip, it upset me. I loved the expierence but have no pictures of the Canyon. Disappointing to say the least.

Had an absolutely fantastic trip on the helicopter. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The ranch staff were very welcoming. Really enjoyed the extra trip on the horse - felt a little bit like a cowboy, even if it was only for half an hour. Would highly recommend this trip to others.

The helicopter ride into the canyon was exhilarating, and our pilot provided excellent commentary about the history and geographical features along the way. Everything was perfectly organized, from pickup by the covered wagon to the BBQ lunch to the horse ride. Loved being serenaded by the guitar-playing cowboy!

This tour was awesome! It felt like we traveled to a different time and the guides and wranglers were so hospitable. We learned so much about the canyon from our pilot and even saw where Thelma and Louise pushed their car off the cliff. We learned about a little town called Meadview and a lot of history on the Canyon and the surroundings. The horse back ride was relaxing and enjoyable. It was simply a beautiful experience!

We had a blast at the Grand Canyon Ranch. It was a great half day break from the Strip. When we got to the ranch we were greeted with champagne and took a wagon ride down to the ranch. We opted to take the horseback ride which was well worth it and really adds to the experience. Getting out there and back by helicopter really topped off the trip!

Absolutely enjoyed every moment from start to finish. Highly recommended for families. Would do it again anytime, friendly service and a wonderful experience.

We were able to swap our trip to two days later, this was a simple phone call to the office and the lady was helpful. The helicoptor flight was one of the highlights of our time in Las Vegas. Our pilot JT was informative and friendly. We did not realise that we did not fly back over the Grand Canyon however which was slightly disappointing so make sure you get all your photos and video footage on the way out. The ranch was enjoyable and scenic, although the breakfast could be much improved. The singing cowboy on the guitar was entertaining although he reads from a piece of paper when talking about the life of cowboys which made me doubt whether he is an actual genuine cowboy! The cowboy which lead us on the horse ride seemed grumpy at first but became more chatty on the ride. My husband who had never sat on a horse before had nothing to worry about as the horses are well trained and simply follow each other at a walking pace nose to tail. We even saw a rattle snake on the ride which was exciting but the lead cowboy sensibly and in no uncertain terms told us to stay well clear of!

Superb, from the moment we were picked up at the hotel right through to being serenaded at the Ranch ( we were celebrating our 25 Wedding Anniversary and had a song personalised to reflect this), we had a fantastic time. Nothing was too much trouble. The fight over the Grand Canyon was breathtaking. the horse riding a the ranch was fantastic.. Highly recommended.

The Grand Canyon Helicopter tour is totally worth doing, Brilliant Pilot gives you a commentary throughout the flight, however the ranch adventure is not worth it, You land on the ranch get carted off for lunch and then left until the helicopter is ready to take you back to Vegas.

Fantastic tour! It was recommended to us by two of our friends and we were not disappointed. We had the best day and the ranch makes the trip. The helicopter ride over the grand canyon was great too but so glad we had the added adventure of the ranch. Tip - do not have too much to drink the night before going up in the helicopter as it can make your stomach churn! Sick bags are provided! Everyone at the ranch was very friendly including the dogs. We did the horse riding too which was great but they do not cater for different capabilities so you need to be happy with walking tail to tail. Great scenery though and very relaxing. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

This was the most amazing trip i have ever taken.I do not have a head for heights and was afraid that when the day came,I would back out, but I went ahead with it. I had the privilage of having the front seat with the pilot, Doug, and had the most fantastic view. _br/_ when we arrived at the ranch, we had breakfast , and we were all serinaded to by Casey, the singing cowboy, who was multilingual, and treated us all to a song relating to our native country, we got the Galway girl. We then had a tour of the ranch, we went by wagon, and then could wander around the ranch for a while till it was time to return to Vegas._br/_ What an adventure. I would recommend it to anyone

An amazing trip would definitely recommend to everyone. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was when it came to the meal, which we felt like we were rushed to eat our meal and were hounded to eat quickly as we had to go on our horse ride experience. However after being rushed were left hanging around for at least 10 minutes. We were also offered a drink with our meal which they failed to mention we had to pay for, which at $8 is pretty steep, it would have been nice to be notified beforehand. Other than this it is well worth the trip and a once in a lifetime experience.

Great experience, although the Helicopter trip over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon was exhilarating the highlight was visiting the Ranch. Chatting to cowboys about their lifestyle and taking a wagon ride was a complete contrast to the hussle and bussle of a normal busy life. Recommended.

Fantastic trip. The canyon is a must see and is absolutely beautiful. Our pilot was extremely informative and seemed to know everything there was to know about the area. I would strongly recommend the horse riding at the ranch as this was so peaceful and relaxing and just brilliant for that wild west feeling! Amazing all round and a definite must do trip.

This trip was one of the highlights of our holiday in Las Vegas. The views from the helicopter were breath taking. We really enjoyed the visit to the ranch, but it would have been boring if we had not done the horse riding. The staff everywhere were very friendly and welcoming. _br/_ We had done our research well and knew all about the $40 pp charge on arrival and the charge for the horse riding._br/_ It was a really great day and we have some fantastic photos to keep forever. So glad we did this trip.

Helicopter ride was awesome, found because we didn't pay extra $49 to ride horses we were just dumped at the ranch for 1 1/2 hours, got bored after 1/2 hour. They need to have more entertainment for the people that stay back.

Pickup at the hotel was fine. Once we were at the office at the airport, it was a bit too long waiting in the lobby, before we got going._br/_ Once in the air, pilot did not give much information about the trip, while looking at the surrounding areas, Lake Mead, and Grand Canyon. In fact, one of the passengers in the front, told the rest of us different facts about things once that we reached the ranch. She said, she was reading the sheet that she thought the pilot was suppose to be reading to all of us. The horse ride was not worth the extra that was paid for a 10 minute ride. We never went below the rim of the canyon, we only stayed above it, but we all could see other helicopters below us, while we were over the canyon._br/_ We never went down the strip, we went around it, this made it kind of difficult to get pictures._br/_ Wish this would have been better for my first trip to Las Vegas. I just bet that the others will have the same kind of review.

Overall, a great experience and worthy for the first time travelers visiting. The Ranch Adventure was a bit hyped up, and could have been a bit more suitable. We felt a bit pressured throughout the whole time. We do however understand that there are time constraints while there for a limited amount of time and the Ranch staff is trying to maximize one's enjoyment. Would definitely recommend it!

We were really looking forward to this tour, but were very very disappointed as we were told to wait for endless times and we were stuck in the office for and hour and a half , long overdue for our scheduled flight the reason being 2 of our tourmates where refused of their weight and the company doesnt want to proceed with the flight with less passenger thus they have to make alibis just to drag the time so as to wait if there are other interested people who'd like to join the tour! Its just a waste of our limited time in VEGAS! Also, we availed of the wagon ride to see the buffallo but all the wagon driver did was drive pass the bufallos that we hardly took a pic of the animals as he was driving fast past them, not worth the extra pay!

Our trip over the Grand Canyon was amazing! The trip was really well organized and we had plenty of time to be briefed on safety etc before the flight. Our pilot was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us plenty of information about the sights we were flying over. On arrival at the ranch we were disappointed that we were unable to travel in the wagon or go horseback riding as it had been snowing. (This was a major factor in us booking this tour and we were not offered any refund or alternatives). The rest of the visit to the ranch was fun and the "cowboy breakfast" was tasty with great entertainment. A highlight of the trip was flying over the strip on our way back to the airport.

The trip was great :) I've never been on a helicopter before so the helicopter experience was great. The helicopter pilot was very knowledgeable and told great stories! Great pilot! Trip was enjoyable also because of the pilot! Slightly a shame how if you don't have a lot of extra cash and you don't do the additional horse riding/carriage ride you have to spend 1 hour in at the ranch waiting for others. But it was still good, because the staff in the ranch was very nice. The staff at the ranch sang really cool folk songs with his banjo and you can still take photos there so it was still enjoyable. I didn't realise you won't land near grand canyon though... I guess i should've researched properly. Since it's not a small amount of money. It was a great experience to fly over the canon and the strip! overall, a very pleasant experience. If you're looking for a quick experience over the grand canyon and not having to take tedious bus ride, this is probably what you want! Especially if you were travelling solo like me, still got to enjoy it! If you want more time around canyon.. you probably want something else! P.S. my booking staff was very patient, I booked via phone on the day before, and we had to play guessing games for my visa booking since I coudln't find a private spot with no one else around. I was quite impressed that after 15mins we eventually guessed all my numbers and secured the booking.

Amazing and professional. We booked our flight for 2 adults and 2 boys ages 7 and 9 and we all enjoyed it. We booked the early morning departure flight. Pilot was professional and knowledgeable. A couple of improvements we noted could be:_br/_ 1. Some information on how cold it would be in the canyon would have helped. Perhaps we were a little naive regarding this but we were certainly ill prepared. The cold detracted from our overall enjoyment (note we were wearing jumpers but jackets are a must and probably some gloves).

Excellent adventure, we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Loved the early morning flight watching the sunrise. Brilliant and very knowledgeable pilot. The view from the helicopter going through the Grand Canyon when I got a clear view. Was very disappointed that the passengers view was not rotated as the people who sat in the front on the way to the ranch got a grand stand view both there and back. I and another woman were in the middle both ways and our view was restricted both ways. Have since heard that other tour companies rotate their passengers. The tour of the ranch and the meal were excellent and enjoyed the "singing cowboy" serenading us during lunch. Helicopter pilot was also very informative

The trip itself was great would not have missed it however the organization from the base was disgraceful for my party, I had booked for 10.30am flight, called to confirm only to be told it had been changed to 8.30am when we arrived for the 8.30 it had been changed back to 10.30 and we had to wait around, (they did give us breakfast) then we got to the ranch which was great went for a ride on horseback had breakfast we were due to be picked up at 2.30pm but i think they forgot about us had to hang around again for another 2 hours in the really cold conditions no apology from the base at all no real recognition of any failure on their part, this was really poor customer relations, the people at the ranch were very apologetic and tried to make our forced welcomed stay as comfortable as possible.
