The only problem was the return trip from the airport to the hotel. Only one bus was used and It took over an hour and a half and stops at 5 or 6 hotels on the strip before getting back to Fremont St. Totally unacceptable.

Fantastic!!!! The only thing ''negative'' was the one hour waiting time at the airport in the early morning. The pilote was nice, the trip was smooth and confortable, the time spent at the 2 sites was ok since there was not a lot of people on monday morning, 30 more minutes a the second site would of been perfect and, the food was good. We were lucky to have a wonderfull weather. I will definately recommand this extraordinary trip to my friends and family.

My friends and I were absolutely thrilled with this trip, a beautiful flight up from Las Vegas, a great bus driver and the most beautiful views of the South Rim, Awesome, we loved it, we could've had a bit more time, half to one more hour would've have made it even more prefect. Loved it. A great memory for us and so glad we did the West Rim and The South Rim as they are both so different!!... thank you

We only wanted the flight and coach tour of the south rim and could only find this via Viator. We did not want the helicopters or Skywalk, and are certain we made the right decision. All went perfectly and our guides were great. Strongly recommend. Wrap up warm during the winter.

It started with a complimentary pickup at our hotel, from there bussed to a small airport. From there and amazing 1 hour trip in a small plane across the desert, over the Hoover Dam, and then the Canyons started to appear. After landing, we had a 2 hour bus tour, stopping at 2 different locations for approximately 1 hour to take in the breathtaking views. The pilots were courteous and the busdriver was likewise courteous and knowledgeable and gave us a lot of interesting information. We had plenty of time to walk around and get some great pictures! It was worth every penny!

The Grand Canyon was awesome and our service from Viator was excellent with regard to booking etc. However, if anyone wants to book this trip one piece of advice is firstly to wear warm clothing as it was freezing at Mather Point and secondly learn Japanese as the company who deliver the trip only provided an information sheet and map of the trip in Japanese. The only English sheet was a history of the Grand Canyon so we didn't have a clue what was where etc. When we and other English speaking guests complained to the check in staff we were directed to the Japanese tour guide who told us that she was only there to assist the Japanese speaking visitors and she would speak with the coach driver to guide us in English (he was brilliant by the way). When he wasn't there however, prior to flying back we had to just guess when we were returning the plane, which was disconcerting to say the least. The Japanese guide just looked at us and didn't even wish us a good flight or say goodbye! The Japanese visitors were cossetted and micro guided throughout and funnily enough they were all wrapped up nice and warm - obviously their information beforehand had warned them that it would be cold at the rim. Even though this trip was excellent value for money and I would book with Viator again if we return to Vegas - we would even pack warm clothes next time!

We chose this tour as the flight leaves from a Las Vegas airport (a lot leave from Boulder City which is out of town). We got picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport. The flight was under an hour each way with on board commentary via headset. There was an hour stop at each view point (two view points in total). I felt this was enough time to take some nice pics etc. The coach driver provided interesting facts about the area whilst on the coach. We were provided a packed lunch as well. Overall I thought this was a good trip to the real Grand Canyon (not the West part which a lot of the tours go to). I would recommend if you want to see the real Grand Canyon and do not want to spend 10 hours driving to and from Vegas to see it! Be aware the flight can get choppy (ours was fine but it is a very small plane and you can experience turbulence). Due to the early start we was back around the pool in the afternoon:)

The entire staff was very professional. Chuck, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The sites we saw at the look out points at the south rim were breath taking. Taking the plane was a quick and pleasant experience. Back in Las Vegas by mid afternoon. I highly recommend this tour group and tour.

We travelled with Viator using Vision airways to get us there and around the canyon. made several stops around the rim and the scenery was fantastic. the whole experience was efficient from the start. From booking to receiving tickets, the ground transfer to the airport and the flight, the rim tour and the return all went like clockwork and was an extremely enjoyable experience

Long delay starting trip, disappointing views from the plane with little effort made by the pilot to be sure everyone saw the highlights of the trip. Despite having a window seat, I did not see the Hoover dam. The viewing places for the Canyon were spectacular and the bus driver was helpful in suggesting the best places to view although I did think our tour guide was to accompany us to the sights. I do not think I would recommend this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The flight was very good (although the stewardess was Japanese and could hardly speak English). The coachdriver at the South Rim was very knowledgeable. There was one negative. When we arrived in Las Vegas we phoned the number you gave us to confirm our pick up time and location, to be told they could not help us because the number had got through to the airline and they had nothing to do with pick-ups. We tried to find a number for Viator without success (it was not on the trip voucher). We had to ask for help from our Virgin travel rep (we were on a Virgin holiday) who confirmed the pick-up arrangements even though we had not of course booked through that firm. This really needs looking in to. PS The pick up was nearly 25 minutes late and again we panicked thinking arrangements were not as we had been told. Pick-up arrangements were the only negative and overall the trip was very, very good.

The trip was a little disappointing due to the fact that we expected to fly over the grand canyon and surrounding area so that passengers are able to see - only the passengers sitting by the window could see out of that side and not very well. Also we wern't told that full security procedures would be enforced at the airport and we had to dispose of our water and sun tan cream! the trip was well organised once we landed and the guide on the coach was very good and and the canyon was amazing.

The Grand Canyon is of course absolutely stunning and the bus tour was good, with enough time at the stops. HOWEVER, the aeroplane trip was NOT AS ADVERTISED. It was a normal 737 plane which sat well over 100 people. Rows of 6 with only a window seat for 2 people per row. Tiny windows and no commentary. It's a normal plane which flies you to the Canyon. Water was (and all liquids including sun cream) were taken away at airport security and there was no service, including no water on the plane so people were moaning! As a means of getting there, it's fine but should not be considered as part of the tour. Very disappointing as it was not what we thought we were paying for. The air stewardesses were nice nice but just said they were just flying us there and didn't know any more than that. According to other staff, the sightseeing planes were stopped around June time. Canyon is amazing and well worth seeing from the South rim (West rim just isn't the same or anywhere near as spectacular). Just be aware of what you are actually getting for your money. Other companies still offer proper sightseeing planes although I don't know what their prices are!

Great tour, everything on time, getting boeing big plane was nice instead of small plane. Based on price really worth money as driving to canyon from Vegas is brutal 5 to 6 hours one way.The canyon tour was good not great as we felt little rushed - only 2 hours and 2 points. There was a Japanese guide for a lot of Japanese guests who was very annoying and unhelpful. Other than that, a great experience.

This tour was the best thing I did on my hoilday to America. I would recommend if you only have enough time to take one tour, to make it this one. Everything was better than expected, and the bus driver was fun and very informative. The plane ride was awesome as well, the views were incredible. The south rim of the canyon was mind blowingly beautiful, and the two spots we stopped at had heaps of areas to take awesome photos. An hour at the first stop was about the right time needed, but We could have spent a little more time at the second stop.It was a full day from pickup to drop off, and a trip to remember. There was also the added bonus that we could choose to watch an Imax theatre movie at the airport area on arrival. This is well worth doing. I came out feeling as though I had just had a rafting and helicopter experince of the canyon! Way cheaper than doing the real thing. It also gave a great history of the exploration of the canyon.A thoroughly recommended trip with Viator.

We had some issues with this tour, I don't think it was as advertised. We left from McCarran International airport at 12.30 pm having spent nearly 3 hours picking up people from other hotels, going through full security and waiting in departures. I hadn't fully realised this was a commercial 737 so no water or sunscreen allowed through security - I had to just throw mine away! it was NOT a scenic tour of Lake Mead and the Hoover dam-do not expect to see these at all and there was no commentary from the crew as to what we were flying over -in fact they were unhelpful and sullen! Families and couples were not seated together - appeared to be very random! Getting on to the coaches was very efficient when we arrived at Grand Canyon Airport and we were given a box with our lunch-veggy option not to be recommended as was just a few lettuce leaves! The 2 hour "tour" is just really driving between two stops with an hour at each to take photos, get an icecream etc - unfortunately our driver had a very strong accent so we couldn't understand him at all! Of course, the Grand Canyon itself was spectacular with fantastic views but we were rather disappointed with the whole day. 8 hours of driving round hotels, hanging around airports, uninspiring flight for only two hours of the Canyon. Definitely go and see it but maybe not on this tour...and certainly not if you have kids ...

The trip to the rim was "FABULOUS". I was disappointed in the "bus" ride back to the hotel. 'the driver asked if we would mind if he dropped us off ACROSS the street from our hotel; Caesars. Everything except that (which after we got off the bus on the opposite side) we were sorry we said okay to the driver, so that was the only disappointment we had. but the trip out to the rim made us want more. so we will be back to the Grand Canyon!!! but will not be so nice to the next bus driver who should have done his job.

Hello, my wife and me booked a trip to Grand Canyon... It was really nice to see it... But the we were a little bit disappointed about it because we booked a trip by helicopter and were really happy about it... Then in the airport... we had to take a plane... and we didn't fly on the grand canyon.... only a little trip by car.... Many hours travel and preparation to traval for finally a short moment in the grand canyon...

Our flight was delayed from 5:30 to 12:30 than once we were picked up (which was not in the limosine as we were told) . We had to wait another 4 hours at the airport. the ground tour was decent but when we got back at the airport there was no transportation back to our hotel. eventually we spend from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. to get a 90 minutes view of the cany While we were waiting we never received any information about when we would take off and even when asked the only reply we got was: "we can't help you". I've never in my life seen such bad service. And I discourage anyone from flying with Viator

The time of our flight was changed from around 11 am to 7 am at rather short notice. We chose the later flight as we'd thought the light at Grand Canyon would be better so that was a disappointment. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our trip and would recommend this tour to people who want to see more than the West Rim.

We loved the trip to Grand Canyon. We were collected nearly 2 hours before the plane was due to leave ..which meant we waited at the airport for some time then the plane then left 45 mins late. However on arrival at the other end we were met by a coach and driven around the South Rim to viewing points. We were treated to fabulous views and would thoroughly recommend the wait. It was very cold up there so take a jacket and a scarf._br/_ Plane trip home was on time and we were met at the airport in Vegas and returned to our hotels in a timely manner. Definitely worth doing

The trip itself is very poorly organised. We were picked up at 5am at the hotel, sent to the airport, checked in and waited for a while then were told the flight was cancelled. No one in charge could explain to us what happened and what they will do. After an hour of argument, they put us to a late flight which departs from another airport, then we were sent back to the hotel, then picked up again in 30 mins by the same bus and driven to the other airport. After that everything went well, when we came back it was late in the afternoon, everyone was exhausted!_br/_ The south rim of Grand Canyon is so beautiful, but the trip is not the best one I've ever done!

After my purchase through Viator I received confirmation that my flight was through Vision Air. We did the 7am flight , we had a small delay as there was a technical fault at the airport which was not the flight company's fault, however they could have kept us informed more, hence only 4 stars. However they did extend our trip by an hour which was the delayed time we lost in the airport so that was good.

Overall it was a good experience, except for the old man who greets the passengers when you get to the airport, who was very rude to me when I asked him a question, for no reason at all. He told me to shush while he was reading something. We all laughed at the situation, to try to alleviate the tension, but it was totally uncalled for, and could have ruined the trip if I did not let go at the time. That man should be warned that it's not just because he is old that he can disrespect costumers.

Pick up and processing by Vision airlines was faultless, and it was good to travel from LV North airport , so close by. The Grand Canyon itself was amazing, and not to be missed, even though we would all have appreciated more time there. The only downside was that the English speakers did not have the benefit of a guide, whereas the Japanese speakers were more fortunate. Even so, this was a fantastic trip, and I would use Viator again.

My 17 year old son did not wish to go and his words "Look at some old rocks", cold not understand why I wanted to! He loved it ! He took picture after picture and we stood right out on what looked like a diving board above the canyon it was simply brilliant. The flight and the bus journey was a breeze we all loved it. Also seeing the South Rim is as the locals put it the "Real Grand Canyon" far better than the west rim and the Skywalk where you are restricted on pictures.

Excellent. To fully appreciate both the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon it has to be viewed from the air, with the added bonus of the coach tour to the best view points on the south rim. We went on the late morning trip which returned late afternoon giving wonderful views of the sun casting shaddows over the canyon, amazing.

It seems like a lot of money, but it is absolutely worth it for those short on time who want part of the "proper" Grand Canyon experience. Standing on the edge of the chasm and looking into the abyss made it worth every penny. The walk-around tour guide was a little average, particularly as he was able to speak Japanese but at the cost of it being difficult to understand his English at times. He was friendly enough, but also seemed more interested in listing facts about the local wildlife and foliage rather than the Canyon itself. That said, it was easy enough to ditch the guide and make our own way around at the drop off points. The driver guide on the bus itself was excellent. Overall, an excellent experience, but having seen it like this, I now wish I'd taken the time to drive it all myself with no constraints - it's all so beautiful!

Everything went well! No matter which side of the plane you sit, you will see the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon either on the flight out or on the flight back. It's worth doing this trip! A big plus is that you don't have to travel to the Boulder Airport like you have to do with other companies.
