Take off from Las Vegas on a magical sunset helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon. You'll enjoy a 45-minute helicopter flight each way, land at the Grand Canyon for a champagne picnic while you watch the changing colors of sunset, then fly low over the famous neon-lit Las Vegas Strip on your return.

After limousine pick-up from your Las Vegas hotel, you will be taken to board your helicopter. You will fly by Lake Las Vegas, Lake Mead and Hoover Dam as your helicopter flies to the West Rim. During your flight, headphones provide a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon and its surrounds. The flight between Las Vegas and Grand Canyon West Rim is approximately 45 minutes each way.

Landing on Hualapai Indian land for a champagne picnic, you can admire the ever-changing colors of the canyon walls in the glow of twilight. Your pilot/guide will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the area or your helicopter flight as you watch the sun set over the horizon.

Your Sunset Helicopter Tour concludes with a low-level flight over the west side of the famous Las Vegas Strip. Flying from the Stratosphere Hotel to New York-New York, you will have a great view over the extravagant casinos and hotels of Vegas lit up for the night. On landing your limousine will be waiting to return you to your hotel.

An absolutely awesome experience! From the moment we were picked up in the limo until we were returned back, we were treated like VIPs. Our pilot was friendly and professional and looked after us very well. The route took us over amazing landscapes and we got a greater appreciation of the immensity of the Grand Canyon. The picnic meal was enjoyable and the chance to watch the sun setting in the Canyon was beautiful. Flying back over the lights of the Strip was also wonderful. Everyone should have this on their 'bucket list'. Great value for money, topped off with the chance to purchase a uniquely presented photo. Don't hesitate, just do it!

Great at updating you right up to day of trip. Limo arrived on time to take us to airport. Pilot made us feel very comfortable and the audio was great to listen to. Picnic lunch was lovely, watching the sunset. Only criticism is I was expecting to see the strip at night but the sun had not set...was not the same. Would definitely use this company again for another tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour when we were eventually able to take it_br/_ Unfortunately our first attempt was cancelled due to stringent safety checks taking longer than expected then the following two tours were cancelled due to bad weather so we were lucky to fly the day before returning back to the UK_br/_ Our pilot was friendly and courteous and the flight itself was amazing and we were pleased that we saw the Hoover Dam Colorado River and Grand Canyon in the fantastic changing light of sunset_br/_ The icing on the cake was the flight over the "Strip" at night and fabulous illuminations

Tour was excellent! _br/_ It is well worth doing this tour at sunset as the colours on the grand canyon were amazing and it was great to see the Vegas lights on the way back._br/_ All the staff we encountered were friendly and helped to make our trip enjoyable. The helicopter pilot was knowledgable and professional._br/_ The flight was from just off the south strip near the Mandalay Bay with Sundance helicopters so it isn't far to travel to (even though it is in a limo!)_br/_ All in all this was the highlight of my husband and I's trip._br/_ It is well worth it!

this is a must. if you dont have alot of time in Vegas then you should get out to the grand canyon by helicopter. pilot was delightful, picnic was so nice down in the canyon and flying over the Vegas strip at night was awesome. highly reccomended

We had a good trip. We became anxious (and hot) waiting outside our hotel for our pick-up, which was well past the scheduled time._br/_ The use of limo transport to the airport is a waste of money. Tall passengers have to crawl into the limo practically on all fours. We would have preferred a few minutes more flying in place of food and champagne. We had imagined that landing within the canyon meant that we would get right down to the river. A pause and a little more explanation over the Hoover dam would be an improvement.

The limo and helicopter crew were fantastic. Keep in mind it is a 45 min ride out and back with about 30 min in the canyon. I tried calling the provider directly and they told me it would be cheaper booking through Viator.

We felt special being picked up in a stretch limousine from our hotel to the airport and taken back later. _br/_ The helicopter experience was a quick and easier way to see the Grand Canyon. The company was well organised at the airport, co ordinating 9 helicopters taking 54 people to see a true natural wonder of the world at sunset._br/_ The picnic basket "early dinner" provided was basic, but adequate._br/_ The flight was great, seeing the sunset, then flying over The Strip in the evening with all it's lights and glitz made it memorable.

We took the sunset picnic tour to the Grand Canyon for my 53rd birthday. I must say I was quite excited but frightened at the thought of it. Once the helicopter took off, the ride was so smooth I totally relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this. A great way to experience this beautiful site from the air. This was an excellent trip which was enhanced by our pilot, Jennifer, who was extremely informative, friendly and engaging. We went as a family of 4 with two children aged 11 and 13. We all rated this as the greatest experience of our entire vacation in the USA, which lasted 3 weeks and covered many of the major attraction in the states of Nevada and California. I would definitely recommend this trip and the use of Viator as the booking agent. Everything was executed as promised and in keeping with our very high expectations

AMAZING TRIP!!! I was a little skeptical at first because I have flown in many helipcopters over many different regions of the world. At first, the mountainous area from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon was very similar to the mountainous region of Afghanistan, and I wasn't entirely impressed. However, once we entered the Grand Canyon, it was like nothing I have ever seen before. Going below the rim, and actually landing in the heart of the Grand Canyon was absolutely amazing!!! Although the sunset tour cost more money, it was WELL WORTH IT! We spent about 30 minutes on the ground where we walked around for a bit and then had a picnic table champagne "snack" of a very good turkey sandwich, apples, chocolate chip cookie, and some pasta salad that I didn't try. The flight back was very beautiful since we caught a georgous sunset view of the mountains. It was dust when we arrived at the Las Vegas, and it was fantastic to fly over the entire strip. Our pilot (Jennifer) was great, and she allowed us to choose between the boring narration or music on the way back—we chose her good selection of music. Everything was perfect, and although the cost of the helicopter was more than our trip to Vegas (flight and hotel), it was still VERY much worth it!!! I now have some of the best photos that you will ever see, and I was able to purchase a very nice framed picture of my husband and me in front of the helicopter for only $30. If you want to see the Grand Canyon, let this be your once in a lifetime trip that you will never forget!!!!

Excessive checking of weight is annoying (while booking, once you call to confirm pick up and then when you arrive at the office. The guy at the desk could not have been more aloof, and un friendly. Helicopters too small to accomodate the number of people you squeeze in, poor legroom in back, I could not even bend down to scratch my itchy foot. AC not powerful enough. One star rating since the views are there anyway. Helicopters really poor. There are some new ones so there should be a different rate if l flying in an old one.

Absolutely fantAAAAAstic! I would give this tour 6 stars if I could, professional yet exciting. We were scheduled to be picked up at 5pm, the limo arrived at exactly 5pm. Our pilot was the best, he really made the trip for us, he treated everyone special and was full of information. I have been to the South Rim before and had read that the trip to the West Rim would be far less attractive. It was damn close and given the choice of driving to the South Rim OR a helicopter tour into the West Rim, I would choose the helicopter trip every time. Landing down in the canyon will take your breath away. Excellent site, great photo location. Great picnic, just GREAT all round. Thank you.
