unfortunately we were unable to go because my 10 year old got food poisoning. I had not taken out travel insurance but when explained the situation the company and local company reimbursed us our ticket money. I was impressed and will definitely use this company again

overall it was a good tour. took the entire day. the guide tony was a bit hard to understand but ok. the food at the crossroads was maybe a 2 star, and the choc factory was maybe only 1 star.

Very nice trip. Our guide was great. Be aware of the 10.00 processing fee and the early pick-up time. The early pick-up time made sense after the fact as they pick you up and multiple other people than seperate you onto the tour you picked. We did the Express tour and it still ended up being about 6 hours. All-in-all in was great and would say it was well worth the money and the trip.

Great tour, love the bus driver, (Tony, I think his name is), very helpful bus driver and enjoy his passion and jokes. Will like to spend more time in the hoover dam and take more pictures, and also spend more time in the chocolate factory ( we only got 15 minutes)_br/_ overall it is very good

Took the deluxe tour of Hoover Dam which in addition to seeing Hoover Dam included lunch and tour of Ethel M. Chocolate factory and botanical gardens. The tour of the dam was awesome but the other stuff was average. Lunch was overrated (2 hours in a smoky casino with a so so buffet), the chocolate factory wasn't actually operating on a Sunday and the botanical garden was pretty but small. Our bus driver was good and it was nice being picked up and dropped off right at your hotel. Next time would skip the deluxe tour and just see the Hoover Dam.

Great trip. Just enough. Wanted only about 5 hours. Did not want to add 4 hours to go to a choclate factory. Had good time at the dam. Saw the power plant, the observation deck and had time to "walk on top". Bus driver was very informative and maximized our time at the dam.

The trip was great, comfortable bus and informative driver. The time allotted for the Dam tour is a little bit short due to the long line in the security check. We did not get the chance to visit the souvenir shop as we need to go back to the bus on time. However the Dam tour was fabulous, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and he was able to demonstrate the interesting facts about the Dam. This is an educational tour that anyone must see.

The bus driver was a lot of fun. However, we didn't have enough time to both take the tour and do sufficient sight-seeing, so we skipped the tour that was provided with the ticket.

Beautiful scenery, nice comfortable bus, easy/quick check-in, on-time...I signed up for the tour the day of and had no issues, everything went smoothly. A bit of a long wait between the 10 min movie and the beginning of the guided tour, my only complaint... oh - it was 110 degrees, lol, but plenty of indoor areas and a great gift shop!

Great trip, for $37.00 it was well worth it. Spent about a hour and some change at the dam, perfect amount of time although we didn't read every single sign on the wall we did have a group of about 8 and it was perfect seeing every inch of the dam. Recomend it, to top it off the ride back was about as great as the dam tour. our bus driver drove us through downtown vegas telling us facts and showing us different sites while dropping off people. We stayed half way up the strip so we got to see alot. One thing was MAKE SURE YOU CALL AND GET YOUR DEPARTURE TIMES. we didn't read the small print about calling before aheaqd and missed our first trip on friday. with one phone call that lasted5 mins every single persons tour was transfered over to the following day with no extra money or hassel. Well worth the money!!!

We did cruise also. Loved it! Only reason I don't give 5star because we run out the time to see all hoover dam museum and walk around dam. It was hussle. Bus picks up ontime and very organized. Big O' was funny bus driver! Stil remember his voice "Border city" Thanks!

this was a good trip for the money, the driver BIG O was very educational, gave us lots of info and history about Vegas, Hoover Dam and Boulder City. Time spent was enough to learn about the dam, and the ride on Lake Mead was a good way the see and get more history on the area.

If you take this tour (and YOU SHOULD!) Make sure you get on BIG O'S BUS!! He was an AMAZING TOUR GUIDE! I thoroughly enjoyed the information, humor, and places he showed us! I learned a lot of things I had no idea and would've missed out on if not for this tour!!!! I am definitely recommending this to anyone who is visiting Vegas!

Would never book another tour in las Vegas . Very pour organization to many people all of standing in heat at Hoover dam waiting far to long what shld have been a threehour tour turned into a 6 hour never got to do full tour as obviously over booked russel the driver was spectacular if it wasn't for him the whole trip would have sucked . All I can say your company better value him he is worth a million

The tour started 2 hours after we were picked up from out hotel, we were first taken back to the bus terminal to pay for any additional fees and gift shop. We were then split into groups depending on which package you purchased, we added a black canyon helicopter tour to our package. Our driver plugged for tips through the entire ride!!! Mentioning how long he's been a guide, trashing all competition and letting us all know that "he hopes we show our appreciation for all the knowledge he's giving us". Our 90 min at the Hoover Dam was spent waiting in line, very very long lines, one after the other...it seemed as though each guide provided the same 5 min of information over and over to stall, once the actual tour started we were underground for about 15 min. A bit of a disappointment considering we'd been waiting an hour already. After all the waiting we spent about 12 min on the Hoover Dam before making a mad dart back to the bus, without any time to grab a glimpse into the gift shop or even a bottle of water. (would have been nice if the driver kept a cooler on the bus, even airport shuttles keep water for passengers) After having the passenger beside me vomit from heat and dehydration we went to the Lake Meade tour, again, waited in line 35 min to order our 1 slice of turkey and 1 slice of cheese on a sub. Thank goodness the view was amazing from the boat and the helicopter which was an extra $100 and we lost the Chocolate Factory tour and gardens for it. I wouldn't recommend this tour to someone I hated! Do it on your own!!!

Hoover Dam Deluxe Tour. Our trip was not well organised! Stopped at Boulder city Airport for almost an hour to wait for other passenger to arrive. At Hoover Dam, they would not let me inside as you cannot take in any bag larger than an A4 paper size and there are no lockers to leave luggage - what a joke! My wife went inside and the security queues were nothing but a joke!! Then there was no time left to see the dam outside. At the Lake Mead cruise, we waited for almost an hour again as the guide did not have the tickets. The cruise on the Desert Princess is excellent! This should have been a good trip but there is not sufficient time at the Dam to go inside and also (more importantly) to see the structure from the outside; this is because of the long wait for other passengers at Boulder City. We should have been told before about the bag issue at Hoover Dam prior to the excursion. Another issue is that the operator cancelled the trip to another day and we were only notified by Viator the day we were leaving the UK (very inconvenient) and then they would not pick us up from our hotel which was only just off the Strip on Flamingo East. Great sights on this trip but just needs better organisation.

Really good tour, don't waste your time going down to the turbine housing as this took 40 minutes out of the time we had at the dam, do it if you really want to see the large massive turbines as it is once in a life time i guess. Tour guide/driver was really good.

Had to re-schedule this trip as waited for an hour to be picked up, only to find i should have been looking for a bus that said skywalk tours on the side. Wasnt told this and the driver did not call out Hoover dam and reported me as a 'no show' although i was sat there for an hour!!. second time i waited, bus came on time, and driver walked around the waiting area shouting hoover dam......would have been good if the first driver had done that!!! Tour was ok, but i had thought we would be going on new bridge, which is why i booked it, as i had done the dam tour before, so it was a bit of a waste of time for me as all i got was pictures of the new bridge. Driver walter was good and very informative though.

We really enjoyed our tour..however it was a bit longer than what we thought. It was supposed to start at 10 am but we had to be at our location for 8:45 and we did not get back until 5 or 6

An excellent day out, pick up was on time, very friendly drivers. Chocolate factory tour a little disappointing, nobody working on Saturday so not demonstration, but a few free samples. Hoover Dam tour excellent ...been a few times before but it was my parents' first visit. Lake Mead Cruise was the best, nice deli lunch, stunning views....you can even visit the captain and steer the paddlesteamer....all in all a great day out.

Brilliant, but not enough time at the dam. We only 1.5 hours when we were told at least 2 hours. This was due to another tour which was added to our coach and had to be transported to their destination.

The was the second event booked before we left home and again the arrangements were flawless - picked up at our hotel and taken to the tour office ready for transfer to the Tour Bus. The driver was knowledgeable and gave us all his information with good humour. The tour of the Dam itself again was brilliant, with a local tour guide that was extremely knowledgeable and we enjoyed the trip enormously. The driver then took us back to our individual hotels. A great day.
