Definitely not tailored for the weak at heart, this 30-minute ride takes you somewhere between 10 and 15 miles over what can only be described as very aggressive and challenging terrain.

This is not a roller coaster ride - if you aim at the big rocks, you will probably hit them. You are required to wear a full face helmet and a four-point harness at all times on the course.

You can choose a one or two-seater dune buggy on this tour. All buggies are custom built for the rugged Nevada terrain, and come equipped with roll cages, seatbelts and helmets for your safety. The buggies are similar to your regular car, with a steering wheel, brake pedal, and gas pedal. It's your responsibility to operate the vehicle safely.

Holy Crap!!! What a great trip. Do yourself a favor and try it. If you're anything like me, this tour will probably SAVE you money, since you won't be standing in front of a dice table. Great staff. We WILL be back!

It was ok, but would not do it again. They put 6 people in our group and just when we would start to get going, they would stop and let people catch up. Would be a lot better if they matched the faster drivers up and put the slower ones together. Or, they could bring you out one at a time and go non-stop. It was just too many start, stop, start, stop...... And to top it off, it took them over 2 hours to come pick us and get us back to the hotel when we finished.

Water provided enmass. Massive contract to sign when you get there. Basically, if you roll it you buy it. And it can be done. You show up, empty your stuff into a cloth bag.. get helmet and goggles.. watch a video of sorts.. drive out to the dunes and then have at it. The guide is up front and you follow more or less in line. Hard bumpy ride and I'm an old fat fart with an iffy back. I lived through it and had a blast. One must be careful though. There are dangers to this one. Your brain has to be online. Equipment is manufactured by the tour folks was in good shape. Govenors on the buggies so couldn't get too out of hand. Very nice folks. 30 minutes doesn't sound long but its plenty without a break. Good arm workout. Bit dusty. Bunch of good ol' boys with dune buggies. Nice time. Very girl friendly too. She also had a blast. Wanted gas pedal closer is all.

Buggy tour was pretty good. Buggies were a little slower than I thought they may be, but over the bumps, you probably wouldn't want them much quicker! You're definitely out there in the desert thrashing over the dunes and rocks as they say! All staff were helpful and informative, recommended!

Everyone who goes to Vegas should give this a try- it was a blast! My wife and I took a two seater out and the guide was nice enough to stop half way so we could switch seats. Great experience for any off-roading enthusiast!

We went for the 30minute buggy ride on a 2 seated buggy. I enjoyed it a lot more then I expected too. My partner drove, which I am very thankful about, as I would not have wanted to drive myself. Some very scary dunes at times. The ride was very bumpy, and was painful on your back , and left me with a couple of bruises. I wouldn't do it again, but would recommend someone to give it a try. 30minutes was definately long enough for both of us.

We had a blast, it's a definate must! The only disapointment was, it states "half-day tour" it was a half hour 30 mins long. The advertising was misleading...I sure would have enjoyed a half day for the price we paid.

Overall we had a great time, but one person in our group got lost from the guide and had to actually call the 800 number to have them send a guide to get him. One member of our group also blew a tire. The driver that picked us up from the track and drove us back to the shop was the scariest man I have ever encountered. He shouldn't be around customers.

It was definitely a lot of fun though rather pricey for what it is. The staff were extremely nice. As a complete adrenaline junkie, it wasn't as thrilling as I expected but it was still good fun. I don't think I could have done 90 minutes since we were in single person buggies. The other people did 90 minutes in 2 person buggies and switched drivers halfway, which seems like a smart option.

From start to finish, this experience had quality written all over it. The mini bus arrived at our hotel bright and early so we didn’t have to mess around with taxis and dropped us back off at the front door afterwards. I had a dune buggy all to myself which was great fun and when I managed to get stuck on the top of sand dunes (it happened A LOT), the guide was always quick to help and get me back on the tour! Not at all for the feint hearted, this was as much fun if not more than I expected and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is on a Vegas trip and wants to do something a bit different. Wrap up well in the winter as it gets VERY cold and try and go for one of the buggies with the covered fronts, believe me, you will be thankful for it afterwards when you aren’t completely covered in sand! I would definitely want to do this again on my next trip.

Wow! I read other reviews about it being a "roller-coaster ride" but did not realize how true this was! This dune buggy tour is definitely the most unique tour I have done in Las Vegas. This tour is not for the faint of heart; we drove quickly through sand dunes, flew off high cliffs and endured bumpy rocky paths. I highly recommend this tour for those who love speed, adrenaline rushes and seek a unique experience in Las Vegas. You will get completely covered in sand so plan ahead on what you are going to wear!

The organisation of the trip was excellent and the dune buggies were brilliant. Unfortunately, we ended up in a group with some guy's who were afraid of their own shadow, so we ended up having to stop every 5 minutes because they were too scared to go over a hill etc. Think the instructor was as frustrated as we were...

There are two things you shouldn't leave Vegas before doing...dune buggies in the desert and a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon. Both were a blast. This particular dune buggy company really knows what customer service is all about. I was the only one on my tour, and they didn't cancel on me - they came and picked up me from my hotel and then the tour guide and I spent an hour and a half racing around the desert. There is no way they made any money on that, but what was more important was my satisfaction! Top rate folks running this place - I would do again in a second.

Absolutely fantastic! It was great fun driving over the different terrain - what a rush! The whole experience was excellent - from being picked up from the hotel - the driver was very friendly and professional, to the instructor that takes you out into the dunes - I WANT TO DO IT AGAIN!

It is exactly what we expected - adrenalin rush. The guide knew his way around the dunes and led us on an unbelievable cool adventure. The pick-up from our hotel was on time and they even phoned ahead to let us know they were coming. From then on everything was very professional but allowed us to have as much fun as we could. I will definitely recommend Viator and this tour.

We enjoyed the dune buggy tour so much. It is a little rough and sandy and there is a chance of buggy's breaking down which ours did two times. They picked us up an hour late and with breaking down our time out there riding was cut tremendously but they did make it up to us. I highly recommend this trip but will admit that they were very unorganized. Every time we switched buggy's they got worse. Less padding in the seats and seat belts not staying up. But all in all - it was a lot of fun riding them!

It was AWESOME!!! If you are an adrenaline junkie, this is the tour for you. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Be prepared to get dusty and bring a disposable camera.
