The 'eternal bride', as it is called by locals, is a splash of immaculate white-washed houses on the golden plains and blue skies. Life here has slowed down the pace a little to appreciate the rhythm of nature and the skillfulness of the Arraiolos carpets being embroidered by the delicate hands of local women.
