On the London Duck tour, you'll tour London's sights in a way you never imagined possible, on an exciting road and river adventure aboard a yellow amphibious vehicle. It's approximately 75 minutes of fun, laughter and interesting sightseeing in fantastic London. Aboard a unique amphibious craft, first used in the D-Day landings in World War Two, you will pass famous London landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Big Ben, the House of Parliament and Trafalgar Square. You'll then make a dramatic launch into the Thames River (20 minutes) for the waterborne part of your tour.

The excitement of seeing London in this novel way is enhanced by the action-packed commentary provided by your entertaining guide, who offers an alternative view of London's history along with fascinating facts and figures about the vehicles themselves.

London Duck Tour - Amphibious Vehicle:

The amphibious craft, originally known as "DUKWS" were first used for the D-Day landings. In their eye-catching yellow livery, today's vehicles bear little resemblance to their military predecessors.

The vehicles have been extensively refurbished and fitted with the latest environmentally friendly diesel engines. The deluxe refits includes comfortable seating for 30 passengers, a public address system and full safety equipment.

was disappointed with the tour my family were looking forward to seeing buckingham palace and the mall ,but told that the ducks are not allowed down the mall when on route ,also the river trip was duplicated by a road trip past the same sites overall disappointing for the money

If you are only going to do one bus tour in London, make sure it is this one. Friendly, cheerful, informative, fun, with the added and unique experience of splashing down in the Thames in the same vehicle. There is a plethora of tour buses in London, but the Duck Tour seems to be the only one that pedestrians in the street and other drivers greet enthusiastically by waving, tooting etc! Viator booking process was simple and efficient. Great fun and a must do if you are visiting London, with or without kids.

Ducktastic! Great trip, the commentator was very interesting as well as upbeat which helps to take it all in. Very exciting yet nervous moment when you drive into the Thames, but didn't sink and it was great. The only thing is, we went on a really cold day and I wish I have wrapped up a lot warmer as it was cold on the river which spoils it a bit. Would highly recommend it.

Myself,my daughter,and my 6 year old granddaughter had a four day break in London, and the highlight of our tour was The London Duck Tour, it didn't matter that we had already been on the Eye,been to see Sheik The Musical,all Isabel wanted was to go on the Duck Tour,well we were not disapointed,,it was amazing, the guide was a credit to your company,he was very informed and a delight with the children, Everyone on the Duck became invloved ,from answering questions to shouting out Duck Duck Duck whenever people waved at us in the Duck !!!!.
