Due to traffic and a bad cab driver from the airport, I was unable to make this trip. Tried calling to inform them that I'd be a little late a quarter to the scheduled time and no one answered. The cab driver left his number and no one called back. I was dropped by the meeting spot and the people inside were totally rude and mean! Didn't give a crap that I was late and said there was nothing they could do and no other tours I could take? I strongly do not reccomend booking anything that has something to do with these people. Just sent me on my way and I was completely stranded after paying a $147 USD cab bill!

Excellent tour - the guide was very informed and interesting - not sure that the stop at Sticky finger's was all that necessary.

Wonderful tour. There were 5 buses departing on the same trip at the same time and we ended up on a bus that was mostly Japanese tourists. The guide did a great job of interperting but it was a little distractive to have it in both languages. We would have preferred to be on an english only bus.

Any music fan would enjoy this tour. Terrific guide (I'm pretty sure it was Bruce because he's the only guide from Wales) with an incredible knowledge of music history and how it integrates into the city itself. I would absolutely do it again and bring friends. Highly recommended.

This tour was disappointing. Many of the "sites" were along the lines of "towards the left, down that street, so-and-so once lived." I suspect that this tour is quite dependent on the guide. We did not have the infamous "Mike" mentioned in other reviews, but were initially with others who had taken the morning tour and were excited to be with Mike for the afternoon. I don't remember our guide's name. The best part was the Abbey Road crossing, but we only got about 15 minutes there. Could have used a good 1/2 hour to get pictures, read and contribute to the graffiti wall outside the studio, etc. Next time we'll just take the tube to Abbey Rd. and take our time.

Although our guide seemed to be knowledgeable, the van did not really allow us to see the sights well. It was more like a driving tour through the streets of London.

This was a fantastic tour totally due to the brilliant knowledge and personality of our tour guide "Chicago" Mike. He had a story for every stop on the way and really brought London to life for us. A fantastic sunny day just added the icing on the cake. Would recommend this tour to anybody. Richard and Natalie (Harrow)

Interesting, but more a tour of rock star deaths. Would have been nice to go into some of the tour locations i.e. Abbey Road Studios. Also, would have been nice if we actually had time to eat at Sticky Fingers.

This tour was less than what I expected. You ride around and look at houses, stop for a drink at Sticky Fingers and finish wth a walk across Abbey Road (the best part.)

The trip was fantastic! So interesting and I'm not really even a music buff. I'd love to do it again once or twice should I come back to London. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and, even though I was just tagging along to begin with (it was a prezzie for my husband), I was quickly swept up in the moment.

My husband and I went on this tour last October 2009 and had Mike Boxer as a tour guide. He was AWESOME and full of knowledge about the area and how it all related to the rock eras. He played the artists music in the different areas we were visiting. We had such a great time we booked this same tour again in July 2010 when we brought our 3 teenage children back. Unfortunately we didn't get Mike and the tour wasn't nearly as good. We had an older gentleman and he didn't have the energy, excitement or knowledge like Mike did on our first tour. My husband and I were disappointed as we had pumped our kids up about what to expect. Thanks Mike.........if we ever go again we will only go in your group.

Fun tour that the family enjoyed. A few draw backs though. I realize this was a rock and roll tour but the driver played the music so loud that we could only hear a portion of his commentary which was disappointing. Also, my son was really looking forward to seeing Freddie Mercury's house which was mentioned in the tour summary but the driver left this off the tour apparently due to traffic. At the end of the tour, I mentioned to the driver that seeing Freddie Mercury's house was one of the main reasons for the tour and graciously he took us to the house after he dropped off the rest of the tour participants. Thanks again Chicago Mike.

I have only recently returned to Brisbane, Australia, from a lengthy overseas holiday. Whilst in London we took advantage of your Small Group Rock Tour, and I must say I had a great time; indeed it blew me away. I was fortunate to tour with Chicago Mike in late April 2010. I was the Aussie who won the 2 Robbie Williams CDs (and slipped Mike a couple of quid not to give then to me!!) We also toured with the "Van Halens" on board, and despite Mikes suggestions, they still bought a curry from across the road from Sticky Fingers! What a great afternoon it was. Chicago Mike made this tour memorable because his commentary was interesting and informative, interspersed with witty and amusing comments. Mike was also willing to answer any question put to him and take the odd photo or two, if needed. He did great Jagger and Richards imitations, too. The tour covered many decades of music and the locations we visited brought back memories of an incredible 40-50 years (has it really been that long?) of the rock industry in London. For anybody considering this tour - don't think, just get on board and you will not forget something as memorable as this for a long time to come, especially the way Mike passionately provides commentary. Rock onto this tour and "Rock on" Chicago Mike, may the music stay with you forever.

What a great tour, really fun and informative. Got to see great parts of the city as well. Would do it again in a heartbeat, but this time I'd even do the full day tour, as at the time there was only a half day available. So, if you are a Rock music fan, just do this tour.....you'll be glad you did.

Englash tour guide very knowledgable of area and insightful into Central London. He was also quite impressive to be able to naviagate a 16 passenger van down very, very narrow streets to get to us to area the locals don't even get to see. Hightly Recommend.
