Nice to be picked up right at the hotel, and a nice clean 120 MPH train ride to Paris. A really nice trip, the guide (Charlotte) was knowledgeable, pleasant and fun to be with. Avoided the lines at the tower, and a nice cruise on the Seinne.

Great trip. See all the tourist sights in Paris in one day. Lovely lunch in the Eiffel Tower. Opportunity to see the Louvre for an additional cost. Would recommend.

It was very nice. Lovely tour guide. One disappointment was the website said it was "FIRST CLASS" on the Eurostar. It was NOT. We received one up from the bottom.

What a wonderful experience! Our guide Sev was excellent, very informative and we didn't have to line up anywhere. Lunch on the Eiffel Tower was wonderful and the chocolate dessert was to die for. Eurostar first class experience was excellent and a most comfortable journey. Sev and our driver Mohammed in Paris, plus the pick up and drop off staff in London were excellent and all ran to time. Would highly recommend this trip to all wanting a taste of a Paris, but remember the Louvre is closed on Tuesdays.

Our day trip to Paris was fabulous! From the Eurostar to the Louvre, everything was more that we expected. However, without our guide Charlotte, the trip would not have been so special. Charlotte is a treasure and made our time in Paris so memorable. Her musical voice and vast knowledge created an unforgettable 40th anniversary trip for my husband and I. Thanks, Jan Williams

Things did not get off to a good start when our tour operator showed up 25 minutes late with our Eurostar tickets and tour info. Fortunately, we were at the front of the line and didn't have to rush, but several of our group had to run and ask to cut in line to get through security in time to make the train. Upon arrival in Paris, we learned our bus had been hit by another one and lost a mirror, so we had to wait 20 minutes on a new bus to replace it. If the weather had been rainy or hot, it would have been a problem. Our guide was French and had a very heavy accent, making it difficult to understand at times. She sounded like she was reading from a script anyway. Lunch on the Eiffel Tower was amazing and the meal was delicious. We loved the river cruise, as well. All in all, a very nice day and a good schedule. Some rough patches, though. For example, one of our group was in a wheelchair and the elevator was out of order, so her companion had to carry her down steps at the Louvre. Not sure if our guide could have facilitated that better or not, but it certainly wouldn't have been tolerated in the USA. At the end, our guide practically begged for tips for herself and the driver, so that was a bit awkward. We decided it was worth it for having the transportation and tickets arranged, not so much for the guide or information part.

Charlotte was our tour guide - and she was absolutely the most delightful and well informed guide we have ever had during many travels. It was so helpful to have someone meet us at the train station and guide us to our train - everything was so well coordinated and well thought out. The only criticism that I have is that the lunch in the Eiffel Tower was just OK at best - really expected more from the famed Parisian cuisine! But the view and the champagne more that made up for that! The river cruise and the trip to the Louvre were special high spots, and we really enjoyed Charlottes extensive knowledge of art history on the peices that we were able to observe. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone who only has a short time to see the highlights of Paris!

The tour was good, but our French tour guide, Charlotte was hurried and did not consider some of the clients were seniors. When this was brought to her attention she was rude and uncooperative.

The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, the bus driver was excellent and we enjoyed the travel arrangements. Our guide was from France and needed to explain things more, as Americans need more information. We had the most wonderful lunch at the Eiffel Tower, positively awesome view and the meal was very good. For a one day trip to a city with so much to see, this was a great way to do it.

It was a fantastic trip. Our tour guide, Charlotte, was very knowledgeable about Paris and made the trip very enjoyable for all of us. She has the patience of a saint! The trip was well orchestrated and every part of it - train, bus tour, boat tour, lunch, and the Louvre went off without a hitch. I've already recommended this tour to friends and co-workers!

I was slightly disappointed. The guide we had seemed slightly unsure and/or lost at certain times. Also, she was French and had a thick accent (though she spoke English). I was expecting a British guide who was very knowledgeable about Paris. Overall though, I enjoyed it and would do it again.

We had a great trip. Very organized and things ran smoothly. Boat ride was fantastic! One suggestion: get some Euros ahead of time so you can access bathrooms. The folks at the shopping area at the Louvre were not especially helpful with this...

Our guide was knowledgeable, patient, friendly and helpful, and even the weather cooperated for a lovely day in Paris. The Eurostar was fast, and hassle free. The croissants on board were to die for. We had a whirl wind tour of a section of the centre of Paris, a lovely ride down the Seine, and lunch on the Eiffel Tower, on a clear day, was outstanding. A definite highlight. The food was much better than I anticipated. Security had tightened up, getting up the Tower, but, better safe than sorry. Visited the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, and still had time to hit the gift stores. Only wish we had more time to saunter through the gallery. We were all dropped off back at our hotel with a very friendly driver. I would most definitely recommend this as a first taste, or even second taste of Paris, if a day is all you can spare.

Great tour, albeit had a very bumpy start. Around the hotel pickup time, the hotel pickup bus was stuck in traffic, so after frantically calling around 530am, they informed me that I had to catch a cab to St. Pancras. Fortunately, made it to St. Pancras where they reimbursed the cost of the cab ride. Everything from there went quite smooth, though I must say one day is not enough for Paris. However, given the timeframe the cruise down the Seine and lunch at the Eiffel Tower made this trip worth it. There was an optional 25 Louvre guided tour, but given the time frame 1hour 30min, it wouldn't do the Louvre justice, so I passed on that and took the free time to look around the area.

Enjoyed the train ride and meal 1st class is definitely the way to go! The tower meal was very nice but the people selling trinkets really took away from the whole experience. Many sights to see in a short amount of time. Tour guide was very informative.

Viator made it easy by picking us up at the hotel and guiding us step-by-step through the day. We were disappointed that we didn't get out to see more things like the Arc d'Triumphe. The guide pointed to it from very far away. Lunch on the Eiffel Tower was great and food was terrific. My 9-year-old loved the Eiffel Tower shaped cake. Would have liked time to go to the very top of the Tower. The Seine cruise was disappointing. The boat was 30 minutes late in getting us and then 15 minutes late in dropping us off so that left us only one hour when we arived at the Louvre. The tour would be better if they skipped the boat ride and took the group to see The Arc, Napoleon's Tomb and Notre Dame by bus. It was quite harried getting to the train home with traffic and customs and security. We almost missed the train, but again it was great that the guide rode all the way home with us and put us back on the bus. All in all I would say do the trip, but understand what you will actually "see". Guide was good but a little hard to understand.

Lunch was good, the tour of the tower was good and the tour of the museum was good. Overall, it was a good experience, although it was not mind blowing good. It was ordinarily good just as it is being ordinarily written. I feel that having champagne doesn't make a trip a luxury, perhaps, it should just be called Paris Day Trip with Champagne Lunch on the Eiffel Tower.

This trip moved along like clock work. Far exceeded our expectation. Well, more than worth the money for just one day in Paris. Tour guide was excellent. They picked us up on time in a nice bus in the morning-then we were escorted everywhere after that-until they took us back to our hotel. We have traveled around the globe-looking forward to booking again. I also like-that a real person answers the phone for help, questions, and booking. Thank you so much for a wonderful time. This was our third trip to Paris --but just one day to show our college age son for the first time . And, we thought lunch was perfect -and a thrill---the food was great. Don't know what one of those reviews was taking about as it was great value, first class all the way and everything that was promised -was delivered -and more!

A great trip! We jumped the queues for the river cruise and the Eiffel Tower both of which were huge. Lunch on the tower was excellent. We didn't take a tour of the Louvre and it sounds like that was rather rushed. It was definitely worth going first class so that we had breakfast and dinner sorted out. Tired after the long day but really enjoyed it!

The trip was a really great surprise and exceeded our expectations. Having never been to Paris it was a very compact but comprehensive and very well organised tour. The fast train meant we were not waiting at airports or ferries etc.Being one of the busiest days of the year we were impressed with the time saved by not having to queue. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly. The quality of the meal was terrific, the only down side of the tour was the speakers on the seine river cruise were crackly and difficult to hear sometimes. It was a fast visit to the Louvre Museum, but gave us a taste to want to go back. Suprisingly we ended back there a week later, because of the Volcano in Iceland forcing us to travel from Ireland back to Cherbourg,France by ferry and through to Paris by train on our way to Munich via Stutt.gart

I knew it would be rushed but the only photo opportunity was on the Eiffel Tower. The guide was very pleasant, but she really only just pointed us in the right direction and then met us afterwards. I would have liked to be given an opportunity to spend the small amount of free time somewhere other than the Louvre - where entry was not included.

This trip was very well organised indeed, we were met at the hotel at 6am exactly and from then on we were treated to the experience of a lifetime. From the coach driver right down to the waitress at the Eiffel Tower and our personal tour guide, the whole trip was just fantastic! A one off trip not to be missed.

Our guide was very tentative and difficult to understand. At the Eiffel Tower, she took too long to get the tickets, which she should have already had because we all paid ahead of time. This meant we had no time to go to the top of the tower as we had already lost time because the train was late, which I know Viator could not help. The trip did not seem well organized, we always seemed to hurry up and wait. I thought we would see Notre Dame on the bus, not just at a distance from the boat. A beautiful day and a beautiful city, but I would not do this tour again.

The whole day was enjoyable. I saw many things. I got a good feel of Paris. The guide was very French and helpful. The meal on the Eiffel Tower however was not worth the money. The champagne was good. The food though was inadequate. It was tasty but small portions, and not even a salad.

We really enjoyed this day trip from London to Paris definitely recommend going first class on the train. The tour guide was good too. Lunch was delicious. The champagne was very good too. The view from the Eiffel Tower was spectacular. It makes for a a long day and the tour company should consider stretching the day out a little more so that we weren't as rushed getting back to the train station. We definitely recommend this tour.

We had a great time! The guide was fantastic. They picked us up at our hotel - dropped us off at the end of the day. It was totally stress free. The tour was perfect for the amount of time that we had. You can only do so much on a day trip but we saw all the highlights that we had read about. The lunch was great and we met some new people and shared travel experiences. One thing we didn't do that we wished we would have is the private tourat the Louvre. For the amount of time that we had there, it would have been well worth the money.

I was concerned I was missing something because the price for this day trip was so incredible, but we had a wonderful day. Everything was wonderful! There was only one thing that was a problem was on the cruise on the Seine. No one on the tour told us we would need coins, not bills to get water on the cruise. It was extremely hot the day we went and no one had any change to buy water from the machines that were on the boat. So we had to sit in the sun for the 1 hour cruise without anything to drink. That was very uncomfortable.
