Private Viewing of Stonehenge including Bath and Lacock

London, United Kingdom

Book an exclusive private viewing of Stonehenge. Stepping inside the "inner circle of stones" is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Tickets are limited and each group consists of 26 (morning) or 40 (afternoon) with your own guide. With a choice of sunrise or sunset viewings, and private access to the inner circle of stones, your visit to Stonehenge is sure to be a memory you'll cherish. As an added bonus, you'll avoid the huge crowds.

Private Viewing of Stonehenge
Most visitors to Stonehenge are not allowed direct access to the stones. On this special day trip from London, you'll be invited to enter the stone circle itself, and stand beside the mysterious rocks towering above you. Your guide will unlock the secrets of this ancient UNESCO World Heritage Listed monument. Enjoy the peace, away from the crowds, as you experience Stonehenge at its atmospheric best at sunrise or sunset. Availability is strictly limited so book early, as private viewings regularly sell out and operate on selected days only. Please refer to itinerary section below for a detailed schedule.

Stonehenge sunrise tours will depart from London between 3am and 4am so you can catch the sunrise in the middle of the summer!

Lacock
Lacock is one of England's most picturesque villages, dating back to the Saxon era. The village has provided the setting for many movies and television dramas, including Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Take a walk before enjoying an early evening meal (or breakfast for sunrise departures) in the George, a vintage English pub built in 1361. Note, meals are at your own expense.

Bath
Bath is beautiful Georgian city, and also on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Its most celebrated resident is Jane Austin, and Bath was her birthplace and inspiration for several novels. You'll have time to visit Bath Abbey and the magnificent Roman Baths, or simply shop and explore. You also have the option of taking a walking tour to see where Charles Dickens lived and worked as a young man, and to sample fresh cheeses from the local dairy

Awesome trip! I can't imagine seeing Stonehenge any other way! It was truly amazing to be standing amongst those stones. Our guide, Jason, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about all of the locations we visited and gave us lots of "extra" info about the places we travelled through. Lacock was gorgeous and quaint, as promised. We had plenty of time to wander around the town before breakfast. The trip to Bath was awesome too. We also had time there to wander around and explore before our entry into the Baths. Beautiful city! The group is small on this tour which is really great - and everyone was very friendly. The tour bus was new and very comfortable. Would HIGHLY recommend this trip. Looking at Stonehenge through a fence yards away just would not have been the same.

The private Stonehenge tour was AWESOME! Lacock was great too, although it would have been nice to be there at a time when we could tour the abbey. Bath was entirely too rushed. I'd prefer a longer day and the ability to stay longer at either Lacock or Bath. All around, though, we had a great time.

This was an amazing trip. Our tour guide and our bus driver were both helpful and very friendly. The trip started on time and always. We really had the chance to go into the circle long enough to take pictures but also to enjoy the place and to learn a little bit more about it. The trip to Lacock and in particular the trip to Bath was really good. Also we had enough time to meet and enjoy the place. My husband, my 4 years-old daughter and myself really enjoyed this trip. I definitely recommend it.

Stonehenge was gorgeous. Im happy to have gotten the opportunity to go early before the crowds and walk amongst the stones. I was a little dissapointed with the Lacock portion of the trip as I was hoping to see the abbey better and honestly, the food at the pub wasnt too impressive for 9pounds. Good tea though and cute atmosphere. Bath was an unbelieveable city but I didnt really like the audio tour, Id have preffered our guide to give us the explained tour of the bath house. All in all, great journey, driver and guide.. comfy new coach bus!

This is SO worth doing! Bath was beautiful and wish we had more time there and less time at Lacock. There was so much to see and do in Bath. The drive along the country side was lovely too and our guide was very informative. Stonehenge was amazing. It was still light when we got there and we got to spend a lot of time inside the circle. Lots of information and photo opportunities. Plus you can get right up close to the stones. Let me tell you, it is a totally different experience going inside and actually seeing them up close. There are some stones with 500 yr old carvings and markings. Very cool.

Had a wonderful trip. Weather was good, sights were incredible and the entire tour of the British countryside was very enjoyable. The Roman architecture and engineering at Bath was unbelievable. The late lunch at The George in Lacock was very good as was the opportunity to stroll through the town, a bit. Lastly, the Stonehenge viewing was breath taking. Almost like going back 5000 years, seeing the stones, the mounds, and all the work that was done to create the site was not only wonderful; but also made you try to imagine how the stones were prepared, moved and set in place - just fantastic. Most importantly, our Tour Director - Dave and Tour driver - Malcolm were the perfect hosts. Great personalities, knowledgeable, funny and very attentive. Don't lose them!

This is the second time I have used Viator and have been impressed both times. This tour was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Getting to actually walk among the Stonehenge stones...I mean right in between them...was awesome. And doing it at sunset made it all the more special. A once in a lifetime event! The pub we ate at in Lacock was outstanding. And the time we spent in Bath was just enough for us to know we will spend a few days there next time we come back. if you are going to London and want to spend a full day doing something amazing, this tour is for you. Well worth the cost.

Had to get a taxi L20 to get to tour pick up hotel as not where we were staying and tube not running until 5:45 a.m. but once there, pick up and guide everything was great. Only 25 on bus, great going early, no one except guard there._br/_ Getting inside the stones is great. Well worth the early time. No crowds, no heat, great photos. Breakfast was changed to Salisbury McDonalds as nothing else was open that day but got to see Salisbury Cathedral as an extra. Need 1 1/2 hr to go through Roman baths with audio guide still much to see in Bath city. Only 2 hrs total. Needed more time to see Bath itself and to have lunch. On to Lacock, very old but some may well have spent more time in Bath and skipped Lacock. Driver and guide both highly recommended.

We are independent travelers who typically don't use a travel service. We were extremely pleased with the knowledge and professionalism of our guide who adeptly dealt with a couple who were late for a rendevous. _br/_ I highly recommend a private tour for Stonehenge to get to the inner circle without crowds. Great photo ops. _br/_ Lacock was quaint but I would have preferred spending more time in Bath instead of a sit down breakfast. I rushed thru the tour and had limited shopping time. Never got to the cathedral or nearby grounds.

Fantastic! Our outstanding guide Paul was able to enlighten us to facts about Stonhenge, Bath, and Laycock that we would not otherwise have known. His expert knowledge and sense of humour were definite highlights on the trip where we had just the right balance of guidance and freedom to enjoy the places we'd come to see. Also thanks to our driver Phil for keeping us safe. At the end of the day trip we had only wished we had had more time at each spot. I expect that will require a return trip to these historic and inspiring places.

The trip was excellent. Tour guide was humorous and knowledgeable. Seeing Stonehenge with 26 people and walking among the stones at sunset was a special experience. Premium Tours and Viator were very accomodating when our plane was delayed 24 hours and we weren't sure we could make the pickup. They gave us options of the latest pickup closest to Heathrow and allowed us to bring our luggage. Because of the uncertainty of our arrival, we could not connect with the London native we had booked the trip with. We received a refund for that ticket which we greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend the tour and Viator.

Had a wonderful time! There is very limited time in Bath and Lacock - but I had expected as much. However, I felt that we had a good amount of time at Stonehenge which was the main reason for me taking the tour. Being able to actually walk around the stones and get right up to them was amazing and well worth the money for me. Steve was our tour guide and he was fantastic! I think that he really made the day - he was friendly, enthusiastic, funny and had a great knowledge, not only of the places we visited but also the areas we were driving through. If you can request a specific guide - choose him! So glad I did this tour!

Other than the fact we were drenched and cold this was worth every extra penny to be able to actually be inside of Stonehenge and touch the mystisisim(my own word). Lacock was a wonderful little add on and the place we ate was an excellant example of Local food and drink. Bath was a bit crowded and once you were through with the Baths tour you really didn't have much time to see the surrounding area. I would definantly go back to Bath for further exploration.

The experience of entering the inner ring of the stones is not to be missed. Our guide was knowledgeable and quite entertaining. But he should be told that politics especially personal politics should not be part of a general tour.

Weactually had our trip rescheduled to June because of the "volcano" and went to Stonehenge in the evening. It was to beautiful for words. Being only one of 50 people to stand inside the inner circle and just feel the uniqueness of the stones and hear the stories of the building of these stones, terrific. On our way there, stopping in Bath also was impressive. It was a long day but well worth it. Would do it again and wished for more time.

This was such a memorable experience for me and my husband. The Roman baths were just amazing, Lacock was such a beautiful and historical town, and Stonehenge... what a treat! To have the entire place to ourselves and to be able to cross the ropes and get up close and personal with the stones is something we will never forget. It was a gorgeous clear night so the sunset was perfect. Our tour guide Steve, I hope that everyone is lucky enough to have him! He is just superb. I feel in love with the city of London because of all the beauty he was able to point out. He told and showed us tons of historical information during the tour which made one really appreciate what we were experiencing and looking at. We would do this tour again and recommend it to anyone.

Our tour guide was excellent! I wish they allowed at least a snack on the bus. It's hard to go from 10am until 5pm without eating. There is a comfort stop thankfully because there's no bathroomtoilet on the bus. Anyway, I took this for the Stonehenge private tour - there's no other way to do Stonehenge!
