Skip the Line: Hampton Court Palace Tickets

London, United Kingdom

See where King Henry VIII wooed his many wives with fast-track entry to Hampton Court Palace. Even better, by purchasing your ticket ahead of time you'll jump the queue. Don't waste time waiting in lines on vacation!

Flamboyant Henry VIII is most associated with this majestic palace, which he extended and developed after acquiring it in the 1520s. The palace's many royal occupants have ensured the palace has fabulous furnishings, tapestries and paintings. It is set in beautiful formal gardens, which include the famous maze and the Great Vine.

Hampton Court has a designated Family Room, where parents and young children are invited to take a rest from the bustle of the palace. The play equipment is suitable for children aged under five. Family Trails guiding children around the palace are available at the Information Center.

The palace is pushchair friendly and a lift is available if you'd like to access the upper floor without using the stairs.

Hampton Court is just half an hour from Central London by direct train and is a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon out of the city!

At least three hours is recommended for your visit to Hampton Court.

I was the first person in the door and wow- what a great place to see! Unless you have an entire day it is impossible to see it all. I only did some of the gardens and Henry VIII palace and the maze- but great! I must go back to see the formal gardens as well as the other half of the palace... so plan on a whole day- lovely weather, beautiful grounds, lots of great history!

Hampton Court was great. It's a huge place and there is a lot to see. Easily a full day. A great deal of information on Henry the 8th. Henry made huge impacts on maintaining the English kingdom in terms of rebuilding/refurbishment of the palaces. To get there, take the train from Waterloo train station. The last stop is Hampton court. Buy a return ticket at the same time. They can be used at any time. I think the train was running every 30 minutes.

Hampton court is well worth doing, only a short train trip from London. The gardens are amazing and the castle is very interesting and well laid out with original furniture and paintings. Take a picnic and enjoy the beautiful gardens.

Hampton Court is beautiful and rich with history. The skip the line pass really wasn't necessary because there wasn't a line this day, but I would imagine during peak travel season it could be quite busy.

Excellent day, the visitor experience at Hampton Court Palace is well thought out and delivered. There is so much to do that we didn't get to do everything (winter opening hours) - will definitely go back! The costumed guides had incredible knowledge, were very engaging and really helped one to understand the life story of the Palace. A fantastic experience.

It was definitely nice not to have to wait in line (and there was a considerable line) and the tour was well worth the ticket price, so glad I got to see this beautiful Palace!

Great travel directions supplied by Viator to reach the palace from downtown London and to return. The palace is looking great and so are the gardens which was my main reason for the trip. I like how the palace has added some clever interactive events for guest participation. Both children and adults seemed to enjoy them. Great indoor and outdoor places to grab lunch or a snack, and I especially enjoyed the new garden gift shop in the palace. Note to Viator, the only advance or group ticket window available at the palace is for guests who purchased their entry tickets online from the palace and not other vendors like Viator. I had to go through the regular ticket window...thank goodness for no long line at the regular window or i would have been disappointed. You may want to check this out or revise your promotions.

Fantastic day trip, Hampton Court Palace is located just outside central London, approx. 25 min train ride. The tours within the palace were very interesting but make sure to leave enough time for the gardens as they are magnificent, especially in SpringSummer.

The Palace was magnificent! The only advantage to using Viator was getting the advance ticket. If there was a long line up to get in this would have been an advantage. Make sure you go to the cloak room to get your free cloak. It does help get you in the mood.

Hampton Court Palace was excellent, although it would have been easier to buy tickets there than to go to the trouble of buying them in advance from Viator. There were no queues on the Saturday we went in July. There is a lot to do at the palace, and the grounds are beautiful. The ticket includes an excellent audio guide. The apartments from Henry's time and more recent monarchs' times are very interesting. The day we went they had a theme of Henry VIII marrying his 6th wife, and we could be guests at various activities throughout the day.
