Whether it's your first or fifth time in London, traveling around on a vintage Routemaster bus is the perfect way to get a comprehensive view of the city. This fully guided tour includes a Thames River Cruise, and is the ideal orientation if you're new to London, and return visitors will discover new facts and hear new stories  from the professional live commentary aboard the London double-decker bus tour.

Red double-decker Routemaster buses are a much-loved London icon, and the only way to tour London. Have your cameras ready as you stop for photos at St. Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London.

Other famous London landmarks you'll see include Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye.

Next, you'll jump onboard a Thames River Cruise to see all of the famous London landmarks and bridges from a different perspective. The cruise passes Shakespeare's Globe, Cleopatra's Needle and London Bridge before you arrive at Westminster pier to rejoin the bus and head for Buckingham Palace.

Watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard Ceremony as the soldiers, dressed in their fabulous tunics and busbies, march to military music. If the guard change is not taking place, you will stop for photos of the Horseguards.

Wow! One of the best tours, our guide made everything easy for us. We enjoyed the Changing of the Guard Ceremony, we could not make it without the guide. It was so crowded but he took us there on time and we took nice pics.

I'm afraid I was very disappointed in this tour. It was certainly not worth the money we paid. We didn't get to see the changing of the guards because they had made it earlier, the river cruise was only 20 minutes and we added the skip the line tour for the London eye, which was no skip the line. We had to stand in line to submit our vouchers to get the tickets, then stand in line to hand them in.

The tour takes you past all the highlights and you even stop and walk at a few. If you can't walk fast this may not be the tour for you. The river cruise portion is more like taking a taxi service to your next destination and it was not narrated. I like this one because they only book the seats on the top of the bus so everyone gets to sit up there if they choose.

Loved the double decker bus. Stop for changing of the guard was long and involved some walking. River cruise was short.

Good overview of London. Interesting guide, nice way to get an idea of the areas we wanted to go back to. The boat ride was short, but a fun addition to the tour. I would recommend this tour.

The tour was great, very informative and inclusive. I think the Thames 5-10 min part could be excluded or increased in time.

For the money I paid, approx $90 AUD, this certainly was not worth it. I would have expected alot more than the flimsy ride down the Thames, plus the changing of the guards I could've just stood outside Buckingham Palace for. I can't remember tour guides name, bu for an Irish man, he knew some of the English history. I'm sorry but for what we got, it was far too much money. At least 50% more than it's worth

Finding the bus location was a challange. Victoria station is quite large and can be very confusing. Our guide was very knowledgable and interesting. This tour is a good way to get started for a first time visitor.

I liked this tour because you have a personal guide explaining things and telling stories. Our guide was really good. He managed to make me see London in another way than the every day stressing life of London. You get a really interested overview of London.

This tour is great if you have only short time in London. The guide is very knowledgeable and creates a nice atmosphere. You will see all major sights like St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Tower of London and many more sights on this tour. It was a good mix of a bus tour, walking tour and Thames River Cruise. Have your camera ready as you will also get some real good photos of the Changing of the Guards Ceremony at Buckingham Palace! It was very worth doing!

This has been a dynamic and fun tour, in which I discovered the highlights of London. The stories of the great history of this stunning city were well explained by the guide. This tour combines the classic English Bus tour, a walking tour and a boat trip, which is amazing for three hours and a half tour. My advice: You would enjoy the tour at its fullest if you were to be seated on the upper deck - open top. The earlier you get to the departure point the better for you. The views are better from the upper deck and you can take some amazing photos. I really enjoyed myself! Hope you do too!

We did this on our first full day in London. Great to get your bearings. I definitely recommend this if you are in London long enough we were there 11 days. Otherwise I would do hop on off tour instead. Our guide was very nice.
