We did the early sitting on the Tramcar and had the best time. The carriage, the meal, the service, seeing the suburbs and architecture._br/_ Couldn't have been better. Excellent value for money, would do it again on my next visit to Melbourne.

My husband and I celebrated our 36th Wedding Anniversary and we had a really wonderful time. Great music, the steak one of the best my husband has eaten and the staff were fabulous and made it a very special night.

Very disappointing. For the high price I paid, I was surprised I was not offered a steak knife with my meal. One of my guests ordered coffee and liquer and DID NOT receive either. The music was so loud it was difficult to talk to my guests. As a visitor to Melbourne I would have been interested to know which landmarks we passed on our journey. I had no idea where I was!

We had a wonderful evening on the tour. The staff, food and wine were tops. My only gripe was that three of the party preferred beer to wine and had to wait till the busy staff had taken meal orders etc before etc before they could quench their thirst. I was fine as I drink bubbly! All in all a great night and I would definitely do again on a return trip to Melbourne. I have also told many people in Melbourne who, although living there, didn't know what to expect. Thank you.

Our anniversary celebration with friends on the Tramcar restaurant was a lovely experience.The food was fabulous and plentiful, the service was five star and the ride through Melbourne and St Kilda was a delight. Next time, I would choose the later setting, only because the sun on the windows was an issue at times. Also, you do feel a little rushed knowing there is another group coming after you. But all in all, it was great and we would certainly do it again.

This is the second time we have been on this trip and it was disappointing this time. There was only one waitress on our carriage and she struggled to get all the courses through on time. We ended up leaving our coffee as the tram was back at the drop off point before it was served. The waitress was very nice but clearly struggling. Last time there were 2 and the food was not rushed and there was a sing song as we traveled. Food was still good but the whole experience felt rushed.

This is a must if you are in Melbourne for a few days. The service was five star the food was great and the waiters made the trip very enjoyable. I did the 5.45 tour but next time I am in Melbourne I would do the night tour as it is value for money and worth doing.

This was my first time on the Colonial Tramcar and I had a great time. We had visitor from the US with us and they were very impressed with both the service and the quality of the meal. We did the early dinner tour and in the future I would like to take the longer 5 course tour.

My interstate visitors enjoyed the trip (as they did not know how much I paid). I was disappointed that I had to send the meat back three times before it was cooked enough (maybe I should have been more specific in requesting well done).I was also disappointed that we were unable to exit the tram and walk around (as advertised) and take pictures halfway through the journey. As I would have liked to highlight a few points of interest to my guests.The staff provided great service and also had a friendly persona throughout. The no children under 5 and no prams - great concept. Overall, it was a nice way to have Sunday lunch.

The whole experience was positive - lovely people, views and comfortable seating. The Tram itself was so stylish and pretty - our lovely hostess Sophie made everything seamless - nothing was any trouble for her. It was our wedding anniversary and we were pampered and looked after so well I would recommend and do it again! The standard of food was excellent - amazing for the size of the galley kitchen, the drinks flowed and the ambience was delightful.

This was our second time and it won't be our last! Food has been great both times... no cheap shortcuts... plenty of alcohol not that we are drunkards or anything! and staffcrew very welcoming. A great relaxing way to spend an afternoon with friends or family.

My girlfriend and I had a great time. The staff were excellent and the meal was superb, the whole experience was well worth it and I would do it again. My only complaint was it seemed a little rushed to get everything completed in time. Another 12 hour would have made the difference. I know they have to prepare for the next group of diners, but you didn't have time to just sit and savour or reflect on the whole experience.
