We recently decided to enhance our Melbourne long-weekend trip with a tour from the many on offer. We chose the Great Ocean Road Day Trip and were absolutely delighted with the day. From the very first contact when we were picked up at our hotel, the day flowed smoothly and was divided nicely between travelling along with an informative commentary from 'Frank' our bus driver, frequent stops for 'photo ops' or snack/meal breaks and quiet time on board the comfortable coach when we could just look out at the lovely scenery. One of the highlights of this tour was the option to take a 10 minute helicopter ride at the 12 Apostles stop. We took advantage of this option and got some great photos and video of our quick hop out over the ocean! We would definitely recommend this tour to foreign visitors and Australian visitors as a worthwhile day trip.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. Being able to sit back in luxury and be taken to some of the most spectacular sceneries I have ever seen and probably wouldn't have without the tour guides extensive knowledge of the area. Recommend it absolutely everyone!!

This trip is very good. Sit back, relax and travel with a knowledgable guide and multiple stops on the way. The trip includes visits to the Apostles, loch ard gorge and the razorback ( Just as spectacular if not more spectacular than the Apostles themselves). The trip is long but not tiring with approximately 550 Km covered. If you were to do this in a vehicle you would need atleast 2 days on your own._br/_ Highly recommended.

Wonderful day in maginificent location. Driver was excellent and informative. Hotel drop-off , but about an hour later than advertised, and not sure how driver could cover the same itinary in published timescale.

The Tour in it self was quite good, great scenery and breathtaking views, the negatives are very long day up to 13 1/2 hours, no lamingtons or tea offered as on website and stops at cafes were not very good, only for the keen.

Very long trip but definitely worth it! Brendan, the driver and tour guide, made the trip so much fun by entertaining us (especially with The Carpenters song game....) and did not feel that the trip was 12+ hours long. Great trip for a great view.... Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the trip with my partner but had special price pre-booked online which helped! Good driver with plenty of stops and photo opportunities during the day. Dropped off near to our hotel on Southbank about 8pm which was helpful. Worth doing.

Our driver Shane, made sure we had a perfect day. We did not know what to expect on our 13 hour day and we were very pleased. There is a lot of time riding the bus to get down to the 12 apostles. The stops in the little towns to get out and stretch our legs and get a drink or snack, were perfectly timed. The ride on the Great Ocean Road was just amazing with the views of the ocean. The rock formations that we stopped to see were well worth any hikes down the paths to get the best view. We particularly enjoyed going on the helicopter ride at the 12 apostles. The view from the air is breath taking. Very long and interesting day. We highly recommend this tour

the trip was very good but I have one complaint. On the way back to Melbourne there were two videos shown on the bus. One was about Kangaroos which was informative. But the other was a Mr. Bean movie which was completely unnessary. It was played at full volume and so there was no choice but to watch it. We are no longer in the 1980s and in 2011 in the world of ipads, iphones etc there is absolutley no need to show videos like this. People were trying to sleep but found it impossible with this video playing at full volume. Move with the times!!

As we never visited Melbourne before, we decided to spend our wedding anniversary there and we had a happy, enjoyable and memorable time with both tours we booked through Viator: Yarra River Cruise - Wiliamstown and especially the Great Ocean Road tour. This tour is NOT to be missed! Wonderful scenery, rivals or exceeds the US Grand Canyon in stunning vistas and photo ops. Bus driver was thoroughly entertaining and informative. Be aware it's a long day, though, more than 12 hours from start to finish. Well worth the price.

Aside from the fact that we were late leaving the first stop of the morning the tour was great. Recommend the trip during daylight saving though as it was dark all the way back to Melbourne at this time of year. Helicopter ride, wow! Driver very helpful.

Everyone who visits Melbourne must not miss this! A beautiful day trip along the GOR is a must! Could not get enough of The 12 Apostles, the saltpepper shaker, the seahorse, etc. Take the helicopter ride--the view is breathtaking up there!
